I needed someone to repair my lead flashing on a flat roof and called Olseen because they were recommended by people on my local WhatsAp group. They were excellent. A pleasure to deal with. Polite, came and quoted and got the work done on time and on price. Roofers generally don’t have a good reputation but these guys were excellent!!

Paul and Brad renewed my roof and finished the job last week. From.the beginning Paul explained what was happening and when , the only delays were weather related (this year has been terrible for rain) But when they started they worked methodically, section by section. The finishing is excellent, I compare to others as I drive to work and have yet to see similar workmanship. Clearly the fact that Paul and Brad have 80 years experience between them clearly shows. When choosing or reviewing please be aware there are more than one company with the same name..( discovered this when trying to leave a review on trust a trader) so make sure you ask for Paul.

Paul was great. I had several estimates all recommending lots of work. Paul was conservative with the work that was needed and gave me plenty of advice on how and when to look for issues with my roof myself going forward. He even held off doing some work in view of the weather (which I hadn’t checked and probably cost him a morning of work elsewhere). Honest, punctual, hardworking. So refreshing.

Paul with Mark carried out repairs to our roof which involved replacing broken tiles and patching the felt lining. He also repointed a brick chimney which had been in a poor state. Paul's solution was to repair the roof rather than completely strip and re line it (which another trader had offered to do) which has saved us a considerable amount of money and will hopefully last many years. A 5 year guarantee for the work was provided. I would be happy to recommend this company.

George and his team installed a new felt roof on my kitchen extension after a badly installed Fibreglass job from previous builders which kept springing leaks every few years. The process of hiring George was quick and painless through his website, and his site survey/quote filled me with confidence that he's an experienced roofer. His quote was pricier than his competitors, but I urgently needed the repairs and George committed to the job in matter of days. An easy way to judge any builder is how he leaves his work site at end of the day. George's team was pleasant and respectful + left a tidy work site after their first day. I'm pleased with how the new felt roof looks, and time will tell if it holds up better than the Fibreglass job! This jobs very much falls under "You get what you pay for". I recommend George and his team for any roofing work you want done quickly and professionally.

I called George and he was able to visit, appraise, quote within 48 Hours and finish the job quickly. He and his guys were very professional and efficient. He used a drone to show us the roof’s condition before and after the work, providing us with pictures and videos for reference. His workmen were very nice people. George was really easy to deal with and they slotted my flat roof job in very quickly. It was supposed to be a two day job with 2 people, but, in the end George had 4 people for most of the day and got it done in one - which was very helpful. Matthew managed to locate the issue which had baffled a number of other roofers, which was water marks on a chimney breast and wall. After inspecting the roof he said it was the felt and a broken tile. From the quote, to arranging a date for the work, the scaffolding being put up and work done, all went seamlessly. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team.

Matt is a lovely bloke who came round within a couple days after I made contact with him, instantly spotted the issue and was able to come up with a solution that thought outside the box to keep costs down. The work was carried out a couple weeks later and he and his workman worked quickly to get it done. The work was smart and looked better than I thought it could. We had a leak in one of the kids bedrooms and contacted John first thing in the morning and he moved his appointments around and was at our home about an hour later. He took a good look around the leak, the attic and a visual inspection and suggested remedial actions to stop the internal leak. He then came back the next day once the weather improved and not only did he and his team fix the issue, they tested it several times and then gave insights on the rest of the roof. The house is 3.5 stories and a mare to get on the roof but the team found the least obstructive route to get to the problem area. Once they identified the issue, they explained the options and agreed to fix it right away. Amazingly, it cost less than what my neighbours had paid for similar issues but without the access issues!! Obviously I have no hesitation in recommending John and his team for any work required as they came across as knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and professional but what impressed the most was the cost based on work required. I waited to give this review to see if 2 months of bad weather would unpick their solution. I need not have worried.

For anyone seeking a roofer / builder - you have come to the right place! John and his team at JD roofing are exceptional. My mum's roof was dilapidated after years of disrepair and John and his team delivered. My mum also had significant water penetration coming through her external kitchen wall. This resulted in years of poor pointing which John discovered after careful investigation. This job proved far worse than the entire roof due to the mould which had spread following years of disrepair. But John and his team didn't shy away from what was a horrific job. They took it on the chin, worked tirelessly from early morning to night within a week to repoint, replaster and refit half of my mums kitchen units and flooring following the water damage. And they did it all in such good spirits keeping us informed throughout the process of ongoing works and price increases due to the signficant mould decay on some of her units. When refitting the kitchen, all necessary quality control was carried out on electrics and plumbing. My mum now has a kitchen which is immaculate and better than ever before of exceptional quality. A very happy client indeed! John surpassed our expectations. The quality and delivery was outstanding and his professionalism for me was a rare find among tradesmen. A true credit to his industry and I highly recommend. Thanks again to JD roofing. It was a hell of job but you all were outstanding and we wouldn't think twice to have you on board again :)

I have used Paul a couple of times now to replace some broken tiles and also replace the chimney pots which had been leaking. I was really happy with the service provided both times, quick response and turnaround time to come give an estimate and then also to carry out the work. Provided a lot of detail into what was required and why there was a leak etc. After getting quotes initially from some other local roofers in North London, Paul’s was the only sensible one given the nature of the repair required. I think Paul was absolutely brilliant. When our ceiling caved in in the rain, he arrived at very short notice, put a temporary cover to stop the rain from coming through to the bedroom, and was back first thing in the morning to do the complete fix. He even cleared the gutters at no extra cost. Very warm and likeable. I have and will recommend him again.
