Matt is a lovely bloke who came round within a couple days after I made contact with him, instantly spotted the issue and was able to come up with a solution that thought outside the box to keep costs down. The work was carried out a couple weeks later and he and his workman worked quickly to get it done. The work was smart and looked better than I thought it could. I'd be more than happy to recommend Matt to a friend if they were needed work done.

Matthew managed to locate the issue which had baffled a number of other roofers, which was water marks on a chimney breast and wall. After inspecting the roof he said it was the felt and a broken tile. From the quote, to arranging a date for the work, the scaffolding being put up and work done, all went seamlessly. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team.

Great experience. Gary came around at the agreed time to get details on the quote. He explained things well, sent me the quote details quickly etc. Once booked in, his team turned up promptly (actually, they could do it a day earlier than planned), were courteous, very good at explaining what they had found, working around the issue, and the end result looks great. I originally reached out to Tony and the team to get 2nd opinion on a roofing job for my father's property, as I was concerned the first vendor was not trustworthy. Tony came around within two days and advised us of the issue we could encounter as he made us aware that some vendors would pray on the elderly and explained what needed to be done. He got us a quote over and was already saving my father several thousand pounds. From the quoting process to the completion of the new roof Tony and the team have been fantastic and have shown real professionalism and great customer care towards my father. I reached out to The Roofing Company to have a flat roof leak investigated. Previously I had it reviewed by 3 other roofing companies and was given varying degrees of feedback ranging from quick fixes, to having the entire flat roof and pitched roof redone. Gary popped over with his team, assessed the roof and reported back to me with the issue with the correct course of action. The advice was that there was no issues with the pitched roof and that the flat roof was worn and need replacing. The team stripped the flat roof back to the OCB (where they confirmed that the OCB did not need replacing as it was in great shape. The team progressed with stripping the existing felt and fitting the new torch of felt. Absolutely great service from start to finish and Gary and his team have been fantastic to work with. They also replaced the felt on the exterior outhouse. Overall 10/10 and will be using again for any future roofing issues.

A really positive experience all round, from a good, professional firm. The quote was reasonable (especially compared to others, who wanted to install scaffolding, for a day's work on a single storey extension with steps access), and their suggestion for fixing the leak made the most sense. They were punctual, and hard working, and they seem to enjoy what they do. Tony explained things clearly which was reassuring, as unfortunately it can be difficult for women to deal with some builders. I was a bit jumpy after a series of unpleasant experiences with tradesmen, but they were understanding about this. Jack - Tony's son and apprentice - did most of the fetching and carrying (and there was a lot), and he took great care not to damage anything, and he offered to do a few extra bits of repointing, which was considerate and much appreciated. The work was completed on time and everything left tidy. The roof looks terrific - a massive improvement - but most importantly, it is finally waterproof. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm.
