The two people who visited on the day were very courteous and did not waste time in getting the job done plus no mess was left after. I cannot recommend Steve highly enough for all roofing jobs. We have had the pleasure of working with Steve twice and he has done a brilliant job both times, on our old and new house. First job was replacing the whole roof and the second job was putting in new lead flashings, lead flat roof and gutters. All done to a very high standard, on time and for a reasonable price. Paul has provided us prompt service whenever we have suffered storm damage over the last 8 years. You can always count on Paul to get to you quickly and to put your mind at ease. He doesn't just fix / replace the one / two tiles, but looks around the roof to see if there are any other loose tiles that need re-positioning. No matter how busy, takes the time required to satisfy himself that the roof is safe.

I think Paul was absolutely brilliant. When our ceiling caved in in the rain, he arrived at very short notice, put a temporary cover to stop the rain from coming through to the bedroom, and was back first thing in the morning to do the complete fix. He even cleared the gutters at no extra cost. Very warm and likeable. I have and will recommend him again.

Last year I had a major issue with my roof where water was literally coming through like the Titanic! It was extremely stressful but thank goodness for Horncastle. They came to the property very quickly to analyse the issue and got straight to work. There was great communication between myself and Danny and Jamie which meant I was constantly in the know and really understood what was going on and how Horncastle was solving the issue. They are a pleasure to work with, not just because they are polite and considerate, but they go above and beyond to do the best job possible (rather than the quickest solution for them). We had a very good experience with this excellent family-run roofing business. They are part of the "competent roofer scheme", which means that their work is top notch, but also means they are able to certify their own roofs without need to go to local council building control (this is a big advantage as building control is very expensive and also a massive hassle!) Jamie who came to quote was expert and helpful, and Dave & James who actually did the roof were very skilled and friendly. I cannot recommend this business highly enough!
