We highly recommend Hatcher Joinery, not only are they incredibly experienced, knowledgable and skilled - but also such lovely people. We first used them in 2018 when we discovered one of our windows was rotting. They created a beautiful perfect replica of our existing sash window and recommended using Accoya wood which is modified so that it resists rot. 18 months on and the window is still good as new. A year later we unfortunately discovered rot in a couple of other windows and called on Hatcher’s to help again. They advised us on the best approach to take, including a new design for the attic dormer windows to allow us better access to the roof and gutters for maintenance and allowing us to easily repaint the windows in the future. As well as the beautiful windows they have built they have also advised and assisted us on weather proofing the house in order to reduce the risk of further windows being affected by rot. Throughout everything, the advice and support George and Rob have given us has been invaluable. As well as their expertise in joinery they also have a wealth of building knowledge. Above everything they are honest, reliable and really care about doing the best job possible. We are so thankful that we found Hatchers. It has been very stressful dealing with the rot but having them there to help and give such amazing support and advice has been a huge comfort. We cannot sing Hatcher Joinery’s praises highly enough!
