Solved some long standing issues with roof and gutter within two weeks of first contact. I recommend if you are in his area that you give Darren a call, unlike many that offer roof and gutter work he knows what he’s doing. Photos show the exposed old roof felt that had failed, causing rainwater to enter the cavity breaking out internally in several places, exactly as he described after his initial visit. Working from scaffold Darren took back the slates to allow new breathable membrane to be laid, and then retiled. In the same visit he replaced several broken slates, added two tile vents for connecting to my house ventilation system and helped replace a boiler flue.

We reached out to James at Moston Roofing following some leaks on our valleys due to a poor quality new roof by the previous owners. From previous experience with roofing work, I wanted a proper job, so looked for companies registered with the confederation of roofing contractors, and came across Moston Roofing. James popped round and explained a few approaches, trying to minimise costs for us while doing a proper job in unpredictable autumn weather. We had a couple of other quotes and Moston came out competitively priced, and James clearly knew his stuff. I read the reviews on Which, Checkatrade etc and my only concern was that all the 5* ratings seemed too good to be true! However... Moston absolutely delivered on the job, managing to fit us in 2 weeks earlier due to a cancellation and our pressing needs to fix the leaks. They worked in a tidy manner and replaced the lead valleys promptly, and gave us a few options along the way. They also replaced our front guttering and downpipes, which was a bit complex due to the shape and roof height. James has popped back a couple of times to double check the mortar had set and gutters are draining, to ensure that they have done a job to last. He is a great communicator and very honest and easy to work with. I would use again without question... but would rather not have a 3rd roof to fix!

We have just had our leaking kitchen roof replaced by The Roofing Firm. Paul and Aaron did a fantastic job and completed it in under two days. They were punctual and polite. Hard working and never stopped. The quality of the materials used was excellent and it was clear how much pride they took in their work. If you ever need a roofer then Paul at the roofing firm is your man. came when he said he would, his pricing is excellent. Once you see the detail and pride he takes when doing a roof whether it be a simple re roof or a full re roof like ours with that dreaded foam it's not hard to see why I'm leaving a 5 star review. if ever I need a roofer in the future then I will be giving Paul a ring.
