Boden Property Maintenance came out to sort out the chimney after birds got in, and fixed some broken slates and repointed too. They were superb - no fuss, just a fantastic job at a reasonable cost. I would 100% recommend using them.

Phil and Matt came this week to sort out our gutters. The ends were dripping and there was a leak that meant with the heavy rain water was gushing down the wall. . They sealed the ends, repaired cracks and thoroughly cleaned them. They are professional, polite and 2 really nice blokes that know their stuff. After reaching out to many roofers, I contacted Matt & Phil. At the time they were booked up and I can see why as their standards are extremely high so they are clearly in demand. Matt got back to me as soon as they had time to inspect. Matt communicated every step of the way and I was really impressed! I had regular texts and calls to keep me updated and they were on time! We would like to thank Jimmy, Zac and Reece for their hard work over the weekend. We had major issues with our stone gutters causing awful damp issues in our bedroom and kitchen. They have completely re-lead lined the whole area front and side and the chimney taking the lead under two/three roof tiles. They also re-pointed the ridge tiles. We had a full reroof approx 9 years ago by Shaun and his team, work was completed quickly and to a high standard. A tile came loose after recent storm, Shaun refitted tile under warranty. Would highly recommend.

I contacted Shaun, after my insurers roofer took 5 months to complete repairs after the tornado. He did a very poor job that required all of his shoddy work replacing. My neighbour recommended Shaun and he's on the Trading standards approved Trusted Trader website. He came out gave a quote including the scaffolding and skip hire. My insurers agreed to pay for the roof to be redone. The elapsed time to complete the work was just under 2 weeks that included errecting and dismantling scaffolding. The roof repair only took 4 days. I even caught him on CCTV walking round the garden picking up every last bit debris after the scaffolding had been removed. Excellent job. I hope I never have to have the roof repaired again, but if I do Shaun will be the first person I call.

Recommended roofer. I called Shaun after I noticed my roof was leaking and that I needed a few slates replacing. Shaun asked for some photos and was able to use them to put a quote together within the hour. He also agreed to get out to us in the following week. Although it snowed on and off for the next three days two of Shaun’s team arrived early in the morning to fix my roof. The lads were keen, professional and quick to do the work all for a very reasonable price. Finding good people is not always easy so I’ll definitely be calling Shaun first for any future roof work.

Ashton Roofing resurfaced two roofs for us. One a bay window roof might have been regarded as more conventional but they still did an excellent job with plenty of insulation and efficient drainage. The other roof was a perished leaking concrete roof with worn and leaking roofing felt. Dealing with this roof defeated other companies but Ashton Roofing came up with an innovative and elegant solution which has completely transformed the roof. It’s simply superb. It was also at a very competitive price. I cannot recommend enough.

Ashton roofing were professional, straight talking and very helpful, with great customer service. We were in the middle of trying to sell our house, and required a roof inspection to settle some doubt left by a survey. The work done was quick and thorough, with everything put back in its place, resulting in a useful report with much photo evidence to back it up. Later, when the sale fell through and I was in need of their services again and enquired, they made sure to reach out and offer me a work slot before giving it away to a customer who got in contact after me - a very fair minded and considerate business.

Michael McGowan did an amazing job on my Roof Repair. He was polite and friendly. Michael was also meticulous, patient with attention to detail and knowledgeable as he explained what he was going to do and what he had done. I already had before photos. Photos were then taken during the repairs and on completion. The house is a tall 3 storey Victorian Terrace and the party wall joining the neighbour’s roof front and back with mine, had a disintegrating silver foil held in place with bitumen and several broken tiles including a leaking Bay Window. He managed to remove it all, then replacing any broken slates on the neighbour’s side, placing a hidden bonding join underneath, finally placing my tiles in place and sealing both sides together. He left a very nice and well finished Roof and Bay Window. Any broken tiles were replaced on my side. We did have to wait for the dry weather. Once it came the big job was finished in 3 days. Fair priced. Would use again. Thank you Michael.

I highly recommend Michael. He explained professionally the issues of the roof and chimney. His quote is very clear, honest, and fair and there’s nothing hidden. He repaired the broken tiles and took all the broken bricks down from the roof and cemented it. He handled it carefully. He also repaired my leaking gutter. After replacing the parts of the gutter, he lifted up the hosepipe to the roof to test the leak of the gutter. I was amazed by his skills and care for people. He then cleaned the site to make sure it’s clean and tidy. I can’t praise him enough. You can truly trust him.
