I arrived at the Horseshoe Inn after struggling to find a nearby lunchtime venue with an attractive variety of food on the menu. Here I found the true Lord of the Pies and am now a devotee! This first time I dined on his award winning Braised Beef masterpiece with Truffle and Parmesan mash and will definitely return to taste more and more. There’s also plentiful choice for vegetarian diners.
Lovely pub. Friendly and welcoming. Excellent proper home cooked food and wine with great choices. Reasonably priced. Well worth a visit. Will be back on a regular basis.
Delicious as always. We loved the soup and the fish beautifully cooked with real chips! Always at least one real on tap.
