My partner and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Proost, a local restaurant in Urmston, and what an experience it was! In today's fast-paced world, it's so important to support local businesses, and Proost is exactly the kind of place that makes this easy and enjoyable. From the moment we walked in, the homely, dining room ambiance of Proost set the stage for what was to be a delightful meal. The staff were welcoming and attentive, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. But the real star of the show was the food, masterfully prepared by the talented Perrin. Every dish was a testament to his culinary skills, with the quality, preparation, and finishing touches being absolutely top-notch. It's not every day you find such attention to detail and flavors that truly dance on your palate. I was so impressed that I returned to Proost with my children and mum for a Sunday dinner. Let me tell you, it was nothing short of amazing. The Sunday dinner here has to be one of the best in the North West, hands down. The food was comforting yet sophisticated, a perfect blend for a family meal. In a world where chain restaurants can often overshadow local gems, Proost stands out for its quality, atmosphere, and genuinely passionate staff. Supporting local businesses like Proost is not just about sustaining the local economy; it's about cherishing those unique experiences they offer, which you just can't get anywhere else. Had the early bird two courses food was amazing and staff lovely and friendly definitely have to try the evening menu at some point. Great value and service

Heard great things… it was good! First time here, the menu I saw on Google was different to the current menu so do check ahead if you’re wanting to know. All good, very nice and tasty, the cauliflower schnitzel was too oily and a little over facing before you pour the garlic butter on top. Service friendly and didn’t have to wait too long for anything. Will return.

I'd really recommend this restaurant! The steak was absolutely fantastic and there were plenty of gluten free options. The service was brilliant and quick. It should be said that it is quite small (not a bad thing) so I'd consider booking if going on a Friday or Saturday night.

Wow ! Been trying to go here for a while but when I try to book in on a Sunday it's always full. I remembered to book earlier in the week this time. I now know why it's always busy, the food is amazing and the service is brilliant. We both had the lamb and a side of cauliflower cheese between us which was plenty. Every element of the roast was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. We are so happy we've found somewhere in Urmston (being new to the area) we can visit every two weeks. 2 courses for £20 a bargain well worth it tbh we were full with just the roast dinner. I can't recommend this place enough for a top roast, we will be back to try the week menu very soon as well as being regular Sunday diner's.
