Sat on a pedestrianised street in Marple opposite the Bulls Head. Flic was happy to find two "rare" out of area beers. A 4% Golden Ale from Oswestry brewery Stonehouse. I tend to love Shropshire beers. Also an IPA beer from Bristol Brewery Butcombe ( I thought they were Devon?). Converted shop premises with small front outside seating area. Steep and narrow stairs lead to the toilets and an upstair games room. Having once moved a pool table out of a cellar I understand the effort and risk involved.
Called in after being at the pictures. Brilliant place. Friendly staff. Very attractive and comfortable. Several excellent cask ales and pleased to see a porter on. Live music which was good as well.
First visit, yesterday afternoon. Sampled plenty of the cocktails which were very reasonably priced. I managed to knock one over and we were taken aback when a replacement was brought over to the table. Laid back atmosphere, lovely staff, we will definitely be returning.

Best bar in marple. The staff and owners are actually interested in you and your time there. They serve excellent food and the drink prices and offers are generous. Live music twice a week - there’s no negatives to this place.
