Tum Yam chicken soup was incredible...! Beef with ginger could have done with being a little more ginger, but I think that's just my preference. All our party of four enjoyed the food and the evening. Thank you. K

Nipped in for a quick bite to eat on Saturday afternoon, had the chicken burger and salt and pepper chicken with chips. Wow 👌. Really nice place, lovely atmosphere, pint at only £4.50 Staff were great especially Charlie who looked after us today. Really impressed.

I was gigging with my band, Hector's House and had to get my equipment into the venue...it was a struggle upstairs but you come to expect that! The pub was a proper pub, great decor and super tiled floors. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the landlady was lovely and the food was ace! Look forward to sampling the food fully when I go for a meal there! Our gig was great, the crowd joined in with a good ol sing a long too! 👌

The Sporstman Hyde is a cozy, friendly pub that serves excellent real ales. The food is fantastic too. Every Thursday night there is a fun quiz and play your cards right.

Great family run restaurant! We've been coming to Pagliacci for years. The food is always great and the staff are always really friendly. We had Christmas dinner this year for the first time and we would definitely recommend it. Good value and the food was fantastic. A real gem in Hyde.

I agree with other reviews I've read here, do not be put off by the pub. I was initially but the food was delicious, all home cooked, you can tell the owner has years of experience cooking. We loved it so much we'll be going back.

Great food, very engaging staff, great choices of beer and cider, music is consistently good, depending if it’s from the jukebox. Been going here for years because of my mother who loves this pub. Convenient for bus travel, bus stops are near and there’s a Supermarket next door.

We visited so we could meet up as a family of six. My daughter drove from Sheffield and we drove from Warrington. It is a very pleasant venue and the decor is in good condition. The staff were friendly and helpful. Tables are normally booked for 2 hours but we explained, when we booked, that this was a family reunion so they extended our time. We stayed for nearly 4 hours. The food was very tasty and was well presented. As well as the usual main menu, they do a lunch menu and also have a children and young adults menu. There is plenty of parking and some disabled parking. There are steps at the front door. I did not see a disabled entrance but there may be one. Toilets are upstairs but not sure about a disabled one. We would definitely visit again when we are in the area.

Came here for lunchtime set menu with my parents. Absolutely brilliant. The pub itself is wonderful, the staff were amazing & the food was top notch. Can highly recommend here .

Been here a few times now. Staff are always welcoming and very helpful. Pub next door. Mcdonalds is nearby and a large Tesco. The area nearby has seemed to be quiet.

During my short stay, I couldn’t have wished for a better experience. From my greeting at reception, the cleanliness of the hotel and the service as a whole was great. Location was ideal and even better that there was both a Tesco and a McDonalds on the door step. Special to mention to Rosa (The receptionist/Shift manager). Great customer service skills who went above and beyond to help with travel directions, local information and for being so warmly welcoming! 5* experience/stay and this is all down to Rosa and her staff!

Only stayed for the one night. But it was a good night. Bar located right next door and the girls on reception (Gemma and Emma) were wonderful. Couldn't have asked for better service off them. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return.

Booked to meet family for a pre Christmas meal and we looked around the area prior to booking and came based on reviews. Amazing old school pub favourites on the menu along side more modern styles. Food was absolutely beautiful, the Lamb Henry was perfect! And the homemade gravy was clearly not packet mix rubbish, it was superb. Steak pie and chips was great as well, absolutely full of meat, and the chips were huge chunky chips. Great value compared to where we live (Cheshire) and surroundings were lovely. The only niggle is the slightly slow service to keep up with drinks as the pub was pretty quiet at the time. But the staff were all lovely and helpful so all was good. Keep up the good work in the kitchen but maybe keep an eye on customers tables a bit more considering how many staff were available. We will certainly return to try more of the menu!!

Pub is in a really scenic area and decided to pop in on a whim. Lovely outdoor area, good parking availability. At first look at menu, was a bit dismayed that there was no vegan options for me, but a lovely waitress went and asked the chef, and he went out of his way to make something Vegan, and it was DELICIOUS. Aubergine done two ways, baked and fried, with the most delicious tomato sauce. Absolutely fantastic. 11/10. My Mum had the bacon and liver and said it was "Divine". The manager came over to check on us, and we mentioned that the Vegan meal could do with something like chips, next thing a basket of chips were brought, just so nice of them. Just highly recommend this pub, amazing food, outstanding staff. Will be back again!

A very enjoyable afternoon. The food was amazing , hot and tasty . The service was just right, not rushed and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly....nothing at all was too much trouble. A great atmosphere and reasonably priced too. Will definitely be making another visit soon.

Had a really great family meal last Sunday . The staff was excellent , couldn’t do enough for us . The food was wonderful we all had something different & it all came together and pipeing hot . Can’t wait to come again , recommend to everyone .

The friendliest staff, everyone who we spoke to was happy and accommodating to our needs. The hotel itself was wonderful, great big pool, lovely breakfast, comfy beds, used a buyagift voucher so it was a steal. Would happily return and recommend.

Im Polish but i love that place. I had a membership at village hotel gym, I had it for 10 years when I lived there. Clean place, very friendly staff. I really miss this place and atmosphere. I wasn’t there for 4 years, but when I’ll visit England again, I’m sure that I’ll visit Village Hotel and the gym as well

Lovely hotel. Only slight issue we had was the plumbing for the shower, the water wouldn't go down very fast so had to keep turning off the shower to let the water go down. Would definitely recommend and come again

We went for food and drinks and can not fault the place from arrival to leaving. The staff are all very nice,polite and very professional. The food was gorgeous, plenty of it. The price was not overly expensive, but you get what you pay for, and it was worth it. The surrounding area is stunning. The views are amazing.

Pan fried chicken was absolutely divine. Also had the salted caramel sundae which was well worth it. The atmosphere here is unrivalled and the service fantastic - special thank you to Hannah, Diane and chef Owen. Sitting in the outdoor garden with the music was a lovely experience on a sunny Saturday afternoon with friends. I'll definitely be coming back again and soon. Hare and Hounds is well worth stopping in when passing by and the view of the area from the garden is gorgeous. I'm definitely coming out to here more often in future. Can't recommend it enough.

We had a lovely lunchtime visit. The staff were so welcoming and nice. The food arrived quickly and was very tasty. A little more cheese in the toastie would have been good. I ordered the three scoops of ice cream for dessert which was delicious but there was only one full scoop, the other two were only half scoops. But overall it was an excellent lunch and we enjoyed it immensely....and what a fabulous view. We sat inside but there was plenty of seating outside.
