The team at leopard pie were delightful and helpful, we had struggled with parking as we weren't familiar with the area. The the alley to the restaurant door, greeted well and sat quickly. Drinks were quick to come after ordering, the usual offering of fizzy drinks, nothing special. What was good, was the honey butter rings! We LOVED these! Great balance of heat and sweet, on a piping hot, fluffy soft, doughy bread that really hit the spot. Can imagine have this along with a salad and sharing a pizza would go down a treat. Both pizzas came straight from the oven, when they say it cooks in 60 sec in a 550 degree oven, they mean it. The cheese was still bubbling. My only criticism of the carne, is that there is too much meat (if that could ever be a thing). The portion size was immense, having great flavour and texture. Couldn't finish the pizza after having the honey butter rings so decided to box it up and tackle it another day. The tiramisu was a only sweet treat at the end, big enough for one to have, not something to share between two. If I were to visit again, I'd definitely consider some lighter options, quite a heavy course of meals in quick concession.

Highly recommend, Pizza is fresh and quick. Amazing flavour and a variety of options. Staff really friendly and helpful. Really nice homely vibe to it 👌🏽. The Honey Butter Rings definitely lived up to the hype.

Food and drinks were amazing! We've been dying to try for ages and it was so worth it. Georgia was our waitress for the night and she was so lovely and friendly. All the staff were really nice. Couldn't recommend this spot enough

Visited on a Monday night, restaurant was busy! Always a good sign. Amazing pizzas, accompanied by scissors to cut up, much better than a pizza wheel. And the biggest portion of olives I've ever had in a restaurant. Owner and waitress (phoebe) attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!!!

Had a wonderful evening at the Glass House. With a fabulous menu choice. Was very impressed with the variety of dishes and their uniqueness. Food was lovely, very well presented, cooked and tasty. The staff were amazing, so friendly, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and also entertaining. Curtis, Nikolai and Mason were super helpful and made the evening very enjoyable. Amazing value for money. The Glass House also were selling some home made pastries, savouries and desserts, absolutely lovely. Thank you

Had a group lunch with a french learning class of people here today . The restaurant was first class , the food was excellent quality and presented expertly. Great service 👏 and fantastic ambience . Super value for money and well done to all involved at this college training venue .

First class dining experience. Would definitely recommend The Glass House for a lunchtime meal or an evening dinner. The food is amazing, especially at the price you pay. The quality of the food, flavours and presentation, aling with the excellent service, are all equal to anything you would have at a high class restaurant or on a cruise ship. The students and staff are to be congratulated on their achievements. We have been going to the Glasd House for a number of years and have always been extremely satisfied with the whole experience. The warm welcome from Tina & Curtis sets the tone for your dining experience, they certainly know how to make each customer feel special.

The variety of dishes available was simply outstanding, catering to all tastes and preferences. Each dish was a culinary delight, showcasing the amazing talent of the kitchen team. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was equally impressive. The staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our visit. It was clear that teamwork is a priority here, as everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. Considering the high quality of the food and service, the value for money is phenomenal! I can't recommend the Glasshouse enough and will definitely be booking again soon. If you're looking for a fantastic brunch experience, look no further!

Exceptional food and service. The steak and onion ciabatta was the best I've ever eaten. But you may have to tolerate sweary locals who just dump their kids on the field outside whilst they enjoy a meal and a drink.

Me and my husband came here for breakfast and absolutely loved the place! The staff were super friendly, welcoming and great with allergie sufferers. Didn't have to wait to be seated. It was decorated nicely and the menu was easy to navigate. It was easy to find and there were plenty of car parking spaces located behind the shops. There was a breakfast menu that was easily found online and a specials menu. The food was incredibly nice! I had a special of waffles and Nutella with marshmallows and my husband had eggs, toast and beans. We had lattes which were really nice! I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! Open mics and live music advertised on the boards and lunch offers. Vegetarian options available. Would recommend Definitely will be back! The tapas menu looks fantastic!

What a great little place! Situated on the precinct, it looks quite unassuming from outside. Inside it’s very rustic, with mismatched tables and chairs and exposed pipe work. Every time we’ve visited, whether it be for breakfast, lunch or just drinks, we’ve been very happy with both the food and the service. The harissa steak and eggs is definitely up there with my favourite breakfast I’ve ever had. The cocktails are yummy. And they even have a bookshelf filled with books, colours and board games for the kids.

Great vibe, they had a singer on named Oli & he made it an awesome night, nice staff & great music 👍👍

Went to laguna for my birthday last night. Food was lovely. Seven of us and we all enjoyed the food. Would definitely recommend and go again. Prices were reasonable as well.

Amazing service and always quality food in house. But this time we did a very big take out - Food for 10. Amazing, the selection was awesome and the food went down a treat. Thank you Nico, brilliant, just brilliant. And the Meatballs vanished in 30 seconds, everyones favourite.

Our all times favourite Italian restaurant. Our local refuge in happiness and sadness. And I tell you what, no matter what mood you go in, you'd come out Happy! Great dishes from a fantastic chef, lovely service and lots of happy, smiley faces around every time. Definitely book to get a table. My favourite is Straccetti which comes with spaghetti and strips of beef steak, bit of chilli and garlic. Mouth watering really I tell you what though, they make a lovely bone in steak to share which really tempted me to have a second dinner! I think I'll order that big steak for myself only next time!

We've passed this place many times but only just recently dined here. It's hidden away (other than the sign you wouldn't know it's there). We were welcomed by friendly staff and a pleasant, well decorated restaurant. The food came quite quickly but it was very nice. I'd love to come back and try more of the pasta dishes 😋

A truly authentic Italian/Neapolitan restaurant and lucky for us, so close to where we live! Our usual family hangout, this place is amazing, and not surprisingly packed almost every day of the week with local families (except Mondays, they’re closed then), so I suggest booking a table in advance, especially for weekends. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful, unlike many Italian restaurants in town. They know their wine pairings well too, which is a huge bonus in my book. Talking of the food, the menu is absolutely amazing, lovingly prepared classic Italian pasta dishes and pizza plus the well known Secondi dishes of meat, fish or poultry; our all time favourite is the T-bone veal steak. Everything is very fresh and incredibly tasty, even the simplest of things. Some of the dishes are exceptional and hard to find in restaurants outside Italy, like Paccheri alla Genovese, huge pasta tubes with a beef and onion sauce slow cooked for 6 hours, sweet tasting and not a tomato in sight! The deserts here are superb too. All at very reasonable prices. A must visit if you’re in Manchester area, and well worth it.

Great breakfast on Saturday. They were really busy but the service was brilliant and food piping hot! Free filter coffee is a great bonus. We go regularly as it’s the best for food, value and friendly service.

I would highly recommend this pub restaurant. The food was excellent. I like cooking and am almost always disappointed when I eat out, not here though. I’d say this was the best pub food I’ve ever had. The service was lovely, not intrusive but ensured the customer is happy. Definitely up there with the best. My compliments to the chef.

Visited C&C with my parents who were visiting after been given two separate recommendations - it did not disappoint! Beautifully presented pub/bar area where we had a drink before heading through to the dining area for a meal. Fantastic atmosphere, one of the best I’ve experienced in some time in fact (Saturday night). Shared some small plates, the special of lobster ravioli was a real pick. Fillet steak (rare) cooked to perfection with an excellent pepper sauce. Smoked salmon and whipped feta - absolutely delicious. Scampi not bad, a little overdone and a touch dry. Steak sandwich was very well presented but the meat was of poor quality and very tough. Real shame on that one. I can’t imagine it usually is like this. Truffle mac and cheese wonderful. Truffle and Parmesan fries equally delicious. Wine list excellent - the Cairanne I fully recommend, good value at c. £36. Overall the food would have been a 4/5 given two slip ups but overall the experience would come to a 4.5/5 however as you can’t give half scores with google defo more to a 5 than a 4. Highly recommend. Will be back, and often!

We typically turn up on a Sunday and the place is always busy! It's nice to see that with a local business. I'd recommend booking a few days in advance. The food is always wonderfully prepared, between the sharing roast option, the luxury steak sandwich, the lamb dishes - everything is always delicious. The drinks are also great! My partner and I tend not to drink and the non-alcoholic options are tasty and quite inventive. The strawberry lemonade and Vimto drink are extremely moreish.

First time visiting The Woodside on New Year’s Eve 2024. What a fantastic experience! Janet (our waitress) definitely added her personal touch and is obviously a credit to your team. Both food AND drink were spot on Happy New Year to one of the BEST restaurants / pubs we’ve been too in a long time!

Had late lunch (2-3pm) here with my mum. We ordered a main and dessert with drinks. Service by Janet was wonderful and couldn’t fault. It was quiet due to the late afternoon but that just meant it was more of a relaxed atmosphere. I have a gluten allergy that I made known and browsed my food online. I chose the fish and chips for main and mango and passionfruit pavlova for pudding. I enjoyed both but the fish needed a bit more flavour and the pudding seemed to be missing the passionfruit element. I still very much enjoyed my meal though! Would recommend and definitely will be back ☺️
