It was a friendly hotel, friendly and well-run, set back from the road with decent sized rooms with all kinds of amenities including a kettle, the making of assorted hot drinks and a writing desk. It has a picturesque fountain up the front that froze in very striking way while I stayed there. The restaurant is connected to an events facility from which I have a very nice, filling steak pie meal with a Guiness one night. I found the location very reasonable walking as I was able to easy reach Oldham town centre from there.

Arrived around 7 pm, weather was bit icy and we were cold and hungry. Chatted with reception, advised us of best locations to eat. Had an issue with our room and immediately offered a different room which was really helpful. Had a great nights sleep, got ready and went for breakfast. Stay in Holiday Inn hotels all over the country and the breakfast experience is different every hotel. Quality of ingredients were top notch, scrambled egg and sausages stood out as particularly good. Great to see black pudding on menu too. Really enjoyed our stay and special thanks to chef, great food and really well cooked.

I have stayed here for the last 6 months with a work contract. It's a pleasant place to stay, the rooms are big enough with a comfy bed and a large tv. The upgraded rooms are bigger hence cooler and some have smaller tv, apart from that they're all the same. Breakfast is standard like Premier Inn. The dinner menu prices start from £15 and the food is good. Customer service is excellent. All the staff are friendly, helpful and very accommodating. One can take a tram to the city. All you have to is go to Oldham Mumps and there's a free car park and it take 30 minutes to get into Piccadilly, etc This will be my place to stay whenever I come again
