Possibly the best steak I've had.. beautifully tender, tasty, and melt in the mouth. The only downside to my meal is that I live over 200 miles away and can't come back regularly to have this again.. I definitely saved this pub in my 'favorite places to eat' maps folder.. 👌
Onion rings to die for! Food made with love!!! We had 3 small plates and a side of onion rings and chips well what a lovely lunch we're definitely coming back for a full meal soon complements to the chief! Lovely atmosphere in a beautifully decorated restaurant and bar
We were driving down to Cornwall and stopped for lunch at this pub. Very nice and presentable place. Clean and welcoming. We had a lovely meal. All was freshly prepped and nicely presented. Thank you
The Coach house catered for the wake of my late father in August 2024. The room was just right for 35 people. The staff provide wonderful food over and above the usual buffet. Nothing was too much trouble. The buffet was great value for money. We would highly recommend this venue for a small party or meeting of 25-50 people.
We stopped by for a meal en route of a longer journey. I'm so glad we did. One of the best dining experiences we've had lately. The service was friendly, quick and attentive. The drinks were great quality and the very well kept real ales were delicious. Because we were on the clock, we only had time for a main meal, and both orders were superb. Scampi, chips and peas were well cooked and presented with premium quality ingredients. The garlic and rosemary lamb chops were wonderful. Great quality cuts of meat, perfectly cooked with perfectly presented accompaniments, a delight from the first bite to the last. The next time we're heading that way, it'll be for the full dining experience.
