Great little cafe. Stopped here for tea and a light snack on our way to Cornwall. Was pleasantly surprised at the number of gluten free options. Millionaire shortbread was delicious!!

This is easily becoming my favourite cafe in Weymouth. The location is great, just moments from the harbour side in the bustling brewers quay area. They have a sizeable outside seating area for those dry days and a cosy dining area inside. The staff are wonderfully accommodating and lovely with our children, they are always offered colouring books and numerous high chairs are available. Now the food...it is lovely. It is all vegetarian or vegan, but even as a meat lover I always find something to eat. A personal favourite is the poutine, fries with melted cheese covered in the most delicious mushroom gravy - it is gorgeous! The extensive waffle menu is a firm hit with all ages, with choices to suit all. From waffles doused in chocolate to lovely fruit toppings. If you are in the area, I would wholeheartedly suggest you pop by for lunch.

Incredible food. Went for my birthday and the food was absolutely amazing!! Best steak we’ve had and the portions were generous! Staff were extremely polite and friendly, we cant wait to go back !!

Beautiful food had 3 courses and all were beautiful, service was well paced and not fast so you get to enjoy the dishes . Steak was more than an 8oz fillet and my wife’s seafood linguine was in her words divine. Waiters were lovely and honoured to meet one of the chefs . Thank you

This place is remarkable. I honestly feel like I have to leave a review because I had a private room booking for party of 7 (engagement celebration). The team took care of us extremely well and I want to give special honour to our hostess Verity, so sweet, so patient, clear in her communication- 5 stars for her. The food was gorgeous and pretty affordable in my opinion . Some portions were small but I understand that it is more on fine dining side. The only critique I would give is about some cleaning aspects in which the rooms had like old cobwebs, spider webs on the windows, just could use a deep clean.

Have a lovely lunch here with my godmother. We had pork belly and it was very tender but abit too salty. It’s ok when eat with the mashed potato, it’s balanced out. Very friendly and attentive service 👍🏻

We enjoyed our stay at the Kings Arms, we had an issue with a light fitting in our room which was dealt with very efficiently. Breakfast was delicious and there was lots of good quality food to choose from ! We also hired the Casterbridge room for a family wake, delicious food & a great space with history attached to the space. Would thoroughly recommend.

(We didn't stay - merely went for a celebration meal.) The food was really excellent, the service friendly and efficient, and the hotel's restoration after its long period of disuse could not be more sensitive. The bar and restaurant areas are simply beautiful!

Best place to have a few Christmas pints with friends. Very cosy seating areas with sofas next to the fire place. Reasonably priced beer (£4.80 ish) for a pint of Butcombe, very good quality / price!

If you are looking for a change from the usual humdrum Prem Inn Travelodge that seem to be taking over most town centres then this exquisette steeped in history creaky floored no room the same Hotel is for you. Refurbished to an excellent standard whilst retaining the period features. Staff were very friendly and helpful from the 2 receptionists we met to the lady running the restaurant to the bar person to the excellent chef we really couldn't fault it. Our evening meal in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast the next morning cooked to order much nicer than buffet style hot foods from above mentioned hotels. Thank you to all the staff we met who couldn't do enough for us and really topped off an excellent stay.

Absolutely cannot fault. We were welcomed by very polite (understatement - super nice people) and helpful staff. Prices were reasonable and we were given containers to take the remainder home. We were pleasantly stuffed! Food was super hot and tasted outstanding. Would recommend and cannot wait to go back to our local Indian.

Ordered takeaway on New Years Eve and although it was quite late, it was a fantastic curry as usual and was very enjoyable. The chap on the phone was probably getting the brunt of it but they made sure the delivery got out in the end. Thank you!

Best curry I've had in a very long time. Well worth checking out. no issue with delivery at all. Food is excellent. I'm from Bournemouth, I've been to most Indian restaurants, it's nice to say I've finally found a good one.

Mamu was an absolute fantastic host, and we were so glad we came to.29 Spices! The onion bhaji's were sublime, and the chicken tikka phatia was 10/10! I'm considering coming back tomorrow for more!!

Ordered a take away ,arrived on time hot and well presented in good quality foil dishes. The portions were generous tasty and well cooked . No large slices of peppers to pad out the dish as you often get in a takeaway . Would definitely use this establishment again and would recommend it to anyone

It's a wow, yes it was lunch so it was quiet so able to chat ( as I like it) it's a pleasant environment. Great service and a very good choice of food.

the prices and the menu have been changed. I posted the current one. I ate the beef belly soup which was very tasty and a Tochitura with polenta and for desert I had a traditional papanas, very fluffy and tasty. the music was too loud in the restaurant. nice and kind staff.

The best food in town Been trying some romanian food which is the best flavour. Really appreciate the service even i recieve a small desert home made it was amazing everything ! I really suggest this place .

Well, well… I am definitely thrilled! I must tell you that I LOVE this place! It gives me a really good vibe, first of all thanks to the staff, lady Simona at the bar and lady Sorina in the kitchen( they are so so kind, polite and friendly that makes you feel like home!) and then the food is AMAZING! I feel like my mom is cooking for me! The restaurant looks nice, clean and tidy and everything makes you feel welcomed and very comfy! Thank you and I love you! ♥️

A true gem. A genuine Japanese restaurant with great food at reasonable prices. Delicate and tasty sushi. A yummy miso soup. Cracking yakitori. Slurpy Sapporo. Arigato goziemashita.

Absolutely the best sushi we have ever had! Beautifully presented. We were impressed. We travelled about 25 miles to try out this little gem & it turned out to be above our expectations. Attentive and friendly service from the owners too. We are definitely looking forward to returning.

My partner and I had an incredible dining experience at this Asian restaurant. The food was truly outstanding, complemented by a lush atmosphere that exuded authentic vibes. First visit and really enjoyed the food. Wish I had ordered a curry but my noodles were still fine. Dumplings were superb. Will be back to sample some more of the menu. Very reasonable prices and good drinks selection. Excellent service too.

My partner and I spent the New Year at the Duchess of Cornwall Inn and had an enjoyable stay. The room had plenty of character, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We also dined at the hotel's pub/restaurant, which was a nice experience. Conveniently located in the heart of Poundbury, the hotel is just a short stroll from Dorchester. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.

We booked an area upstairs for my son’s 1st birthday celebration with our friends and family. The pub was decorated so nicely for Christmas and it had a lovely atmosphere. The food was amazing. Staff were professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We can’t wait to visit again soon

What a lovely find ! The Landlord was very accommodating even though he had been left short staffed due to isolation. They managed to fit 6 of us in and the food was delicious. I would definitely go out of my way to return but book next time ! Thanks very much again x

Two friends and I go out for Sunday lunch about once a month and have been to several local places. We have been here twice and this is the best so far. Great choice of meat and vegetables, beautifully cooked. Excellent service and not too noisy. Plenty of parking.

Made to feel very welcome..I mentioned I had a nut allergy the staff were very accommodating.The food was very well presented and the staff made sure you were happy with everything.Really enjoyable Definatly recomend
