Cannot recommend Eddie at Lock It Security enough; he was quick to respond to my enquiry, let me know he was on his way, super friendly/easy going and totally transformed my upvc doors. Both doors were difficult to lock/unlock, draughty, let the rain in and now they shut quietly, the locks GLIDE with zero effort, zero draught/rain and well worth the money paid to repair/service them. Eddie came to repair some door handles and locks that were sticking and hard to use at our new house. We couldn’t be more impressed with his service! From the moment he arrived, he was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He quickly established what the problems were, explaining what needed to be done to get everything working smoothly again. He followed this up quickly with a written quote that we felt was of good value. On the day of the repairs, Eddie’s work was efficient and thorough and he took great care to make sure everything was secure and functioning properly, cleaning up at the end of the job. The doors now open and close without a hitch. Eddie quickly repaired one broken window lock, serviced another so that the window now opens very easily, as well as servicing a side door so that now opens, shuts and locks with ease! As before, he turned up when he said he would, explained the options and left everything tidy- thanks Eddie!

Eddie was prompt to respond and turned up on time. He adjusted 2 doors for us, replaced the gearbox and lock barrel on one of the doors. It was a great overall experience, I would highly recommend him.

James did a great job changing out a faulty ignition switch and also reprogrammed the gateway control module on my VW Golf MK 6, unlike my local VW dealer (Camberley) who showed very little interest in resolving the issue.

Visited the Boorer Lock & Safe Co. in the Folly Market. Explained the problem with our front door lock. Locksmith arrived on the dot next day as arranged. After stripping the unit down & discovering the fault Dan promised to find a replacement unit ASAP. This he did and returned to fit. Much to our amazement Dan treated his first visit as a survey & didn’t charge. After fitting new unit Dan carried out extensive checks. The total cost including parts was extremely reasonable. We are very pleased with the end result and the first class service. Highly recommended.

Dan did a great job on my very old uPVC front door. It was not a simple job, he had to track down the right parts for the job. He also fitted locks to my very old aluminium windows. Great price, great customer service. Very quick and efficient

So it’s not just doors and windows that keeps Darren busy. He has just fitted a replacement “patio door” lock to our boat based in the Solent area. This lock had caused all sorts of trouble for the various marine engineers and assorted “skilled” friends. Nothing in the marine world is straightforward and we looked for Darren’s assistance after seeing many positive recommendations from “Voices for Portchester”. After 20 minutes and a few “ah ha” moments the lock was fitted and working. Cue a sigh of relief and a huge smile from me. Credit where credit is due, I got a call before he arrived bang on time and the job was completed promptly and professionally. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and effective locksmith.

Very reasonable prices, called when on en-route so I could return home (locked out with no easy access to internet or phone). The gentleman was very professional and opened by door within seconds, with no damage. I was worried about setting up a new payee on my banking system but he had a card payment machine, so payment was easy. All in all a fantastic service for a reasonable price. Very prompt and friendly professional service. The problem with the lock quickly diagnosed and repair by replacement carried out with spare carried by locksmith. The locksmith was considerate to use handle tools so my sleeping partner would not be disturbed by electric screwdriver.

Excellent service end to end. I called David because we were locked out of our house and we had some specific personal circumstances that I made him aware of. He was very professional, prompt and came to our rescue within 15 minutes. He was able to open the door and then replaced the faulty mechanism for us. His service was excellent, would definitely recommend him. Everyone locally must save his contact details in case of emergency. You never know when you will need good local service. Don't bother trying to ring emergency locksmiths, I tried before I called David and they were unable to help!
