Dave provides an A star service every time I have called him to sort out the locks. Dave goes out of his way to arrive promptly after every call I have made to him and comes across very professional and resolves every lock issues quickly. Our house got burgled and Dave was able to come out the same day I called him to replace all of the locks, as well as add a new lock to another door in the house. Brilliant, efficient, and friendly service, he kept me updated on when he would arrive and cut us multiple sets of keys. James did a great job changing out a faulty ignition switch and also reprogrammed the gateway control module on my VW Golf MK 6, unlike my local VW dealer (Camberley) who showed very little interest in resolving the issue.

The gearbox in my lock had broken preventing me from opening my back door onto my terrace. Steve’s professionalism, workmanship and knowledge ensured that he was able to get this tricky job sorted, doing everything he could possibly think of the get this job done within the working day allowing us to lock the door through the night. He suggested alternatives to save me money. Who does that these days? I got new locks on my doors. Contacted Rockhopper via their website contact form around 5:30pm and explained that my UPVc front door wouldn't open and the locking mechanism was jammed. Within minutes i had a response from Dave saying he could pop by the following day and would call me prior to visiting. True to his word Dave and his apprentice Leo arrived and had the door open in no time at all. Dave ordered a replacement locking mechanism and explained it would be delivered next day and he would return to fit it then, which he did, again with great communication on his ETA. All in all i cant praise Dave and his team enough on the thorough professionalism, friendliness and transparency on the work they conducted. At no point did I feel like they were doing anything that wasn't in the best interest of me and my home. I would 100% recommend their services to anyone in need of a Locksmith. Great service, was around in under 30 mins when we were locked outside. Very friendly, explained how our lock works and payment was very professional with card machine and email receipt. Price wise it was much the same as anywhere else I asked, maybe a few quid more expensive than a couple others I tried but for the service received I think worth it.

Darren was extremely helpful to replace our front door mechanism & locks aswell as a new back door handle. Always very punctual & polite and was very responsive on all communication, would thoroughly recommend!

He did the job as discussed and was incredibly honest about another job he could have completed but told us it’d be far more cost effective for us to do it ourselves, which I believe is always sign of a great tradesperson. Fantastic service! Darren really went out of his way to help us. Our back door mechanism broke and we found that because it was put together during Covid the parts couldn’t be got hold of anymore. Long story short, after speaking with multiple different sources, Darren managed to get us a like for like replacement and brought it straight over and got it done! Even though this was a frustrating experience for everyone, he remained kind and helpful throughout and didn’t charge us any extra even though he had to come out three times - would recommend!

Brilliant from start to finish. Door Handle and mechanism went just before we were about to go on holiday. Darren answered our late evening call and was able to get out to us the next day. Turned up at time agreed and sorted the issue at the agreed price. Labour & parts warranty provided along with advice on keeping the mechanism in good shape for years to come.
