I initially telephoned to find out if I could get keys cut. The lady I spoke to was very helpful and friendly. I had 4 keys cut £6.00 each(relatively small request) but the chap who cut them could not be more helpful. Certainly would highly recommend.

Had an issue with rear external door. Contacted Veteran locksmiths and Murray came out a few hours later to address the problem. Parts were ordered and fitted within 48 hours. Brilliant service by Murray who was very friendly and informative and explained what had gone wrong and what he was doing to remedy it. Would be more than happy to use them again should any issues arise.

When you find a craftsman that you can trust you make sure you keep hold of their contact details. I can assure you the ‘Veteran Locksmiths’ contact details have been saved. Murray is polite, helpful and went out of his way to sort my lock. Thank you so much.

Dan managed to open an old blocked lock, which was original with the house, unusual and I would have regretted to have to replace it. He was very patient, took his time and managed to salvage the lock, took it to his workshop to make the adjustments and came back to refit it in perfect working condition. I can not recommend him highly enough! Totally professional and perfectionist at a very fair price.

Visited the Boorer Lock & Safe Co. in the Folly Market. Explained the problem with our front door lock. Locksmith arrived on the dot next day as arranged. After stripping the unit down & discovering the fault Dan promised to find a replacement unit ASAP. This he did and returned to fit. Much to our amazement Dan treated his first visit as a survey & didn’t charge. After fitting new unit Dan carried out extensive checks. The total cost including parts was extremely reasonable. We are very pleased with the end result and the first class service. Highly recommended.

Darren has been extremely helpful attending to an issue with my front door which needed some adjustment after it had dropped on one side. So it’s not just doors and windows that keeps Darren busy. He has just fitted a replacement “patio door” lock to our boat based in the Solent area. This lock had caused all sorts of trouble for the various marine engineers and assorted “skilled” friends. Nothing in the marine world is straightforward and we looked for Darren’s assistance after seeing many positive recommendations from “Voices for Portchester”. After 20 minutes and a few “ah ha” moments the lock was fitted and working. Cue a sigh of relief and a huge smile from me. Credit where credit is due, I got a call before he arrived bang on time and the job was completed promptly and professionally. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and effective locksmith.

We discussed what would be suitable as an extra door lock. He mentioned a few locks and the one we agreed on was to be solid lock fitted where I wanted. Darren worked out the price (and gave me the option of purchasing the lock myself), I was happy for him to fit and supply at a date and time convenient to us both. Dan was great - very speedy and efficient (messaged him Weds evening - he had fixed the issue by 2pm on Thurs afternoon!). We now having a functioning back door... thanks once again Dan, would definitely recommend :)

Dan was very pleasant and helpful with what I thought was a problem with our front door. As it turned out to be the screw of the latch simply being loose (that shows how much I know), there was no charge, which I think was very kind as it was still a call-out with time and travel etc. Dan left me a card for contact and mentioned their services that includes misted double glazing repair, so I'd be happy to call them again if there was a genuine problem with our doors or windows.

We were locked out of our flat, Dan was lovely. Very professional and we are very grateful for his speedy response in getting to us and helping us on a Sunday afternoon. Thanks so much Dan.

Dan came out straight away on New Years Eve to change the lock and get our holiday tenants back in our holiday cottage after they lost the key in the evening. Dan was fantastic it didn’t take him long to get back into our property without causing any damage, he changed the lock complete with new keys. I would 100% recommend Dan to anyone, he was friendly, quick and did a fantastic job.
