I called these guys this morning and Steve helped me with a door lock issue over the phone. His phone manner was attentive and I am extremely grateful for his advice. I have fixed the issue.

What a fantastic locksmith who sorted out my unusable car remote key, repairing it, testing it thoroughly, and checking it worked, before handing it over. Steve, you are amazing. I can't praise you highly enough. Thank you. I'll never go anywhere else for security issues.

Great experience today with Auto Locksmith. I bought a new second hand car yesterday and wanted a remote fob for it. AL came out, checked if it was possible and it was not. Instead he cut me a second key and programmed it. Super quick same-day service! Really nice guy.

After thinking I had got an ignition problem fixed at a large garage. It was not. I was stuck in a Tesco car park. I called Steve out from Auto locksmith. He came out to me as soon as he could, understood what the problem was and although he had to order me a part he got me up and running again as quick as he could. He kept me informed and was super helpful and friendly.

So it’s not just doors and windows that keeps Darren busy. He has just fitted a replacement “patio door” lock to our boat based in the Solent area. This lock had caused all sorts of trouble for the various marine engineers and assorted “skilled” friends. Nothing in the marine world is straightforward and we looked for Darren’s assistance after seeing many positive recommendations from “Voices for Portchester”. After 20 minutes and a few “ah ha” moments the lock was fitted and working. Cue a sigh of relief and a huge smile from me. Credit where credit is due, I got a call before he arrived bang on time and the job was completed promptly and professionally. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and effective locksmith.

Darren has been extremely helpful attending to an issue with my front door which needed some adjustment after it had dropped on one side. He also replaced the window gaskets / seals on my bi-fold doors. Darren was prompt, very reliable, and professional. I would totally use him again for all my door, locks and window issues. We discussed what would be suitable as an extra door lock. He mentioned a few locks and the one we agreed on was to be solid lock fitted where I wanted. Darren worked out the price (and gave me the option of purchasing the lock myself), I was happy for him to fit and supply at a date and time convenient to us both. Darren attended at my address today at the agreed time. He explained the workings of the new lock (with 3 keys) and answered my questions honestly. He cleaned up afterwards. I would certainly recommend Darren as a Professional who does his job thoroughly and with pride, he is polite and engaging in conversation. Went into the shop on Monday st 3pm to ask for the locks to be changed at my new property. Job booked in for Tuesday morning less than 24 hours wait. Called to let us know the arrival time. Outstanding workmanship, didn't just change the locks but adjusted all the door setting to stock it getting jammed and squeaking. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely great experience. We had two double glazed units fitted, one including a cat flap. Mark priced up the work via email before and stuck to his estimate, had the work completed as fast as possible, and ensured a great fit and a great look.

Absolutely cannot recommend Mark enough. One of our main display windows at the front of the shop had blown so Mark was entailed with replacing it for us. Communication from him was excellent and he accomodated us by working around the shop's opening times. He was also kind enough to move a large heavy planter we have outside the shop for me! He worked swiftly and tidily. I now have him bookmarked should I need his services in the future. The only downside is that he left the newly replaced window so sparkling clean it showed up how grubby all the others were and I had to get out with my tub of windowleen.

Mark is a true expert and professional. He has re-aligned doors for us, adjusted a door & locking mechanism plus offered some very good security and maintenance advice. He is 100% trustworthy, reliable and a pleasure to have in the house. I have no hesitation in recommending him for any door, window, lock related issues.

Chris was absolutely brilliant. I posted a job on Check-a-Trade and Chris contacted within minutes and came early the following morning to replace the gear-box in our PVC door. He was professional, kind and did brilliantly. I can't recommend him enough. Five stars!!!!

I needed a reliable local locksmith to sort a problem with my UPVC back door. After trying to fix it myself I realized the problem needed more skills than I had as internal mechanisms within the door were broken. A quick call to ALS soon had an appointment the following day and after 1 and a half hours work, I had a new system installed and a door that once again locked and worked properly. I contact ALS as the Yale type lock was not operating and I was locked out. They attend within 20 minutes and gained access. They lock had worked loose causing the issue. They tightened all the loose parts and all worked perfectly. They were very professional and polite. I would highly recommend ASL locksmiths and the well stocked shop which I have previously used .
