We needed to get a house inspected and the electrics checked over, we contacted 24-7 Electrical who came over as promised and gave us sound advice as to what was needed in the property. They came back and disconnected the electrics but installed a socket so that some power could be used. Chris and his team were very helpful in sorting this out and got it all done as promised in no time at all. This is a very reliable and helpful Company and we recommend them to anyone that needs electrical advice / work. They have carried out jobs for us before and the guys have always been brilliant to deal with, always helpful and polite. We would tell anyone to give them a call, speak to Chris and he will sort you out.

I needed an EICR certificate for my house as just about to rent it out and didn’t know this was the law/regs now until agent said. I used Check-a-Trader and these got back to me promptly with a quote and dates/times available. I came and checked out their reviews and had others coming back to me but these were really competitive and reviews were great. I wasn’t disappointed. 3 engineers turned up on time and were all courteous, smart, took their shoes off! Plus they were professional and helped to repair a fault on a socket while testing the whole house wiring. Took them a good while and they were really thorough. I expected to receive an invoice way over the quote but within 2 days I had the comprehensive certificate and the invoice as quoted. Very impressed so don’t be wary, these guys stick to their promises and do a great job. I’ll only put up a review if really bad or exceptional. These were exceptional and so has their customer service in the office and response times. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

Peter installed several plugs, removed old ones from skirting boards and installed some wall lights. He visited our flat beforehand to understand our needs and give us a quote. He was able to begin the work the following week. He was incredibly professional and friendly. He worked to a very high standard and left our flat clean and tidy. He even rewired one room entirely to make sure we wouldn't need to this at a later stage after our floors have been installed. Because we're still in the middle of decorating, he left the plugs and lights off the walls to make our job easier and he'll call back at the flat once we are finished! Overall, I would highly recommend Peter. His price was really fair, he completed the job in a timely manner and did a fantastic job!

Peter came round on short notice to upgrade our fuse box and install an induction oven after we were let down by another electrician. Did an excellent job, very friendly and happy to explain things. We'll be getting Peter back again soon to do some other smaller jobs around the house, and eventually gradually re-wire the house. Definitely recommend!

We had extra sockets added, new ceiling lights fitted, new smoke alarms, light switch replaced and the relocation of a light switch. Peter was friendly, helpful and gave great advice on positioning of sockets and solutions to various issues we needed to solve. His price was good value and he was punctual, we would definitely recommend.

We used Peter to upgrade some of the old sockets in our house from single to double ones, to install a few new ones and change a pull light to a switch. He was polite and professional, gave advice and discussed with us our options. From initially starting the work to getting it done, it was quick and communicated well. I have to say a huge thank you. My very elderly parents suffered a total loss of electricity today meaning they had no heating and no electricity for their freezer, fridge, cooking and everything else. I found Smart Wired Electrical on Google as an emergency electrician. From ringing, he was really quick in arriving at my parents property and worked speedily to find and resolve the issue. We came home on a Sunday night to a bad burning smell coming from the mains supply cupboard. Highly recommend using Lucid ES. Our circuit board went down the day before my sons birthday party with no light or power and a fridge and freezer full of party food... We could not get any electrician from near or far to attend. Despite being fully booked Lucid took the time to handle my enquiry from their online enquiry service and even took the time to call me and go through some safe troubleshooting steps to see if i could rectify the issue myself. Unfortunatley the RCD needed replacing, they sourced the parts straight away and came out of hours to make sure we were back up and running. Would also say at a very reasonable fee. Will definately be using them again in the future!

Needed an electrician for a small number of jobs around the house including some additional sockets, kitchen pendant lights and installation of a ring doorbell. Lucid came round on time as previously agreed and completed the jobs too high standard. Work was neat and tidy and Ben was a friendly electrician explaining what he was doing as he went. Thoroughly recommended local tradesman.

We consulted Ben for a second opinion after being told our fusebox was very old and could blow up at any time from another electrician. Ben came several hours later the same day, he arrived promptly when he said he would. He reassured us regarding the fusebox not being a safety problem and if we do want to upgrade at some point the quote was half of what the original electrician had quoted. He did this all free of charge. It can be very difficult to find a reliable and trustworthy trades person but Ben was a breath of fresh air. I have saved his number for any future problems and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable electrician with integrity.

I called MPS Electrical in an emergency situation when my very full fridge freezer tripped the fuse box. I spoke to Marc who was so helpful and guided me through a temporary solution. If that's the service level of everyone in the firm then I would definitely recommend this company.

I could not recommend Fletcher Electric enough! Matt saved the day when our previous electrician dropped out half way through our kitchen renovation. He quickly got to grips with the wiring that had been installed by the previous electrician and clearly explained to us what work was outstanding.
