When my kitchen light died I was in dire need of an electrician. Fortunately Dan was recommended to me by a neighbour who explained that whilst he had not had occasion to use his services he had been highly recommended.
On contacting Dan I quickly found out that the recommendation was very accurate. He dealt with my problem in a timely manner ( I was fortunate to have same day service) supplying and fitting a new fixture that afternoon. Daniel and the Big Green Electrical Company have been outstanding. When I was planning and building my new house I really wanted to work with a solar provider that would work with me to understand my wider electrical requirements and design a solar system to match.

Working with Daniel he designed a system to utilise the maximum amount of roof space on the house with 25 solar panels using an in roof GSE tray system for a neat look. This also saved money on roof tiles! It uses a Solaredge 8 KW 3 phase hybrid inverter with DC coupled battery storage and a home backup system that keeps the house running even in a grid loss.

The system is making ample solar and has already generated over £800 (2.2 MW) in 2 months which has take a massive bite out of the electrical cost of running a large new build property complete with heat pumps, car chargers, batter

Nothing has been too much trouble and he has helped with advice and guidance around other electrical elements of the house, working closely with the main contractor and electricians to ensure everything worked well together. Following the completion of the install he has been diligent with all the certificates, paperwork, handover pack and also helped deal with the DNO when they have been less than helpful.

I recently referred Dan Evans of Big Green Electrical to a key contact. Dan was brought in to install some spotlights in the hallway of a flat. It was not a straightforward job as access above the ceiling was severely restricted. In particular, a large water tank sat directly above a key area of the ceiling that needed spotlights.

Dan arrived on time, presented professionally. He took time to listen carefully to the customer’s requirements and made some key recommendations based on his experience to ensure that the finished result was optimum.

Once the brief was agreed, Dan worked efficiently and tirelessly without stopping for even a five minute break to get the job done. He completed the job ahead of time and ensured that the customer was satisfied that she had got the ‘wow’ factor in her hallway, which she had – it looked fantastic.
