Wanted to give a huge shout out to Carlton at the Romney place dental practice. First off, he's a great dentist. Gentle but thorough and sympathetic without being condescending. But there are lots of those around. What I found truly impressive is how he managed with my daughter, who is on the autistic spectrum. It is truly rare to find someone who understands people with ASD as well as Carlton clearly did. He was understanding of her needs in terms of environment, sensory input, and communication. She felt understood and respected and comfortable in an environment in which one might typically expect none of those things to be true. Whatever training or life experience he has had with neurodivergent people has obviously given him a profound understanding of how to make their experience as positive as possible. Although kindness was present in quantity, it was backed an obviously considerable knowledge, experience and understanding. If more stars were possible, I'd give more than 5.

What a great find! I visited Romney Place dental practice with my 16 year old daughter for replacement Invisalign. She’s always been a very nervous dental patient but the dentist was brilliant with her, he took time to explain every step of the process which put her at ease. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Communication was great and surgery was clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend.

My dentist is always very respectful and offers good, sound advice regarding my teeth. He only carries out dental work, when necessary and is aware of the costs involved. I have been at this practise for nearly 40 years and he is the best dentist I have EVER had

All staff from walking into the reception to leaving the dentist were fantastic. All polite, attentive, friendly, approachable and helpful. My dentist was great, patient, thorough, explained everything to me in a way that I understood, and anything I questioned she responded honestly. Extremely grateful for the care I received yesterday and have already recommended to some friends and my partner! Hoping to get my daughter moved over to this practice when an opening is available. Extremely pleased and relieved to have found a place in this practice. Thankyou for the work you do.

I have been with this dentist for around 4 years and nothing has been too much for them. I recently had a tooth out and soon after still in a lot of pain. I rang that morning, as I was in severe pain, and was told to come in at 4.00 that day. A temporary filling was done and X-rays to finally identify the tooth and was told to come back in 6 days for a proper filling but the pain came back severe again after 2 days and another phone call saw me back to the surgery at 3.00 on that day all sorted. I cannot thank the surgery for the compassion they have for their clients.

I have had a terrible fear of dentists and dentistry since childhood, and have avoided them most of my adult life (embarrassing but true). But a year and a half ago a tooth broke and I was in phenomenal pain. Being new to the are I rang around as many dentists as I could find, but none could/would see me urgently, or charged an absolute fortune. I finally called Orchard and they saw me the same day and at a very reasonable price. Dr Aliki took time to listen to my fears (although by then I just wanted to be saved from the pain), and over the course of a week's treatment, resolved the issue and literally saved me, even bringing forward the extraction date first thing on a Monday morning after I spent a weekend in agony begging anyone to just pull the damn tooth out!). Since then she and her team have seen me on a regular basis, slowly fixing the problems cause by my fear-based neglect...always taking time, being kind and generous with the time and knowledge. The costs have been more than reasonable for private practice, and the experience as a whole has brought me to a place where I am no longer anxious or fearful (a miracle!) The whole team at Orchard are some of the nicest and caring people you could hope to meet (take them to the pub for a chat, I bet they have some stories!). I would especially like to thank the lovely Emma who brings a warmth and compassion to her reception role, ensuring the patient is cared for and dealt with professionally but always with humanity and cheerfulness - check out her amazing hairstyle! And her mentor, the sublime Soheila who clearly knows everything there is to know and uses that wisdom to ensure the practice runs smoothly and is always focused on the patients...especially those of us who are scared and anxious. What a dream team...they have all improved my life (and my teeth!) Note - I have been asked NOT to mention the evil dentist who resides in the attic and whose maniacal laugh can be heard echoing around the building on dark, stormy nights (this is, of course, a joke!) THANK YOU!

I had my first appointment, as a new patient with Dr Wakas on Monday 15th November 2023 and my expectations were exceeded. I suffer with anxiety and he put me at ease - I had a tooth extracted at the back of my top row of teeth and it is noteworthy, that I had no pain, during or post tooth extraction. I also had an examination of my entire mouth, where it was identified that I needed a few fillings, and a bridge. The procedure I dread most regarding dentistry is the pain relief injection and this was administered slowly and was comfortable I highly recommend Dr Wakas and this dental practice. The receptionist and dental nurse were also extremely nice and pleasant and this also contributed to a very positive overall experience.

I had my first appointment with Waqas back in October to discuss treatment required and issues with my bridge causing me to dislike my smile. After expressing this to Waqas he was super helpful and efficient with all the treatme t required. He made me feel so comfortable and went above and beyond my expectations to create the smile I wanted just in time for Christmas. I would highly recommend Waqas and Shruti!

After years of being totally anxious about the dentist and avoiding going, I broke a tooth and booked an appointment at this surgery. Honestly, the best thing I've done - Dr Folake made me feel comfortable and has pretty much cured my fear. What a wonderful lady. I have just had my cap fitted and couldn't be happier. The reception staff are fabulous and I was at ease the minute I walked in. Thank you for everything. If you are nervous and need to see a dentist - book in here, you won't regret it.
