In my 20 years of driving I’ve only had previous experiences with garages - including national chains, Ford main dealerships and local ones - that ranged from neutral to pure rip-off territory, so this time I did my research and went with the local consensus of online reviews, and I can 100% agree. K&T are very helpful, transparent, go out of their way to help you minimise costs, and really helped me out when my car’s alternator decided to throw a fit at the worst possible time. As other people have mentioned, you may have to wait just a bit to get booked in but don’t let that bother you as that’s a testament to how good and honest the service is here hence the popularity, and it’s worth the wait. A thoroughly reliable garage. Over the past several years we have taken various cars we have owned to them for any work that was needed. Called up at on a Friday morning with issues with acceleration. Was told they were busy but bring the car in at 2ish and we can see if we can fix it. All sorted out and done by 4:15. Very helpful and saved my weekend plans. Would recommend to anyone local for helpfulness & service

They were quick to respond by email for a quote to replace my oxygen sensor, with a reasonable price. There wasn't availability for 1.5 weeks but it wasn't urgent so not a problem. Staff were friendly and quick at the appointment and I had my car back after about 2 hours.

Being new to the area we needed the exhaust on our Mini fixed. Chose D&B based on the positive reviews and was very happy with their service! I wanted a good quality change part and they initially went to BMW but then concluded themselves that the part was way too expensive. Amazing service from the minute I walked in! I needed the rust sorting on my campervan along with a few other minor issues. Everything was sorted and these guys went above and beyond to ensure my van was returned to me in excellent condition, including sorting a few of the problems out before I'd even been given a quote for the main work. We always take our cars to Sandown Autopoint as everybody there is so helpful.They have a no-nonsense approach and will always look for the most cost effective solution and communicate it clearly. Popped in on the off chance. 4 new tyres - at a decently price. Done straight away - less than half an hour later, back on the road. Naz and his crew did an excellent job, almost like being in the pits at an F1 race .... Thank you .... highly recommended. Busy main road it is on and the parking quite tight, but they will always squeeze you in. Drive slow, as it is easily missed.
