Great service and really friendly. Would thoroughly recommend. They fixed a really technical issue with my Tiguan, which my local garage didn’t have the expertise for. The team sorted it all out really quickly and efficiently and dealt with the third party warranty company. Recoded everything via the VW system. They have a really specialist knowledge of the car. No words can quite put into words how amazing Dave & his team are but I’ll try. When my car broke down, unable to drive (it was dead) I made the mistake of getting a tow to a VW dealership (big mistake)….HUGE! In a nutshell the dealership tried to pull my 🩲⬇️on price. I’m talking big money here. I think it’s because I’m a girl if I’m honest & talking to big dealership is like talking to robots, they don’t listen or care. So I looked on the internet & found this business. I called and explained what happened to my beautiful car, heartbroken and tapped because it was stuck in this dealership, I thought I had no choices so wanted to give it one last chance. Dave was amazing, listened and cared about helping me. Understood exactly what had happened and the diagnosis. The only issue was how to get the car from the dealership but he had a tow man friend…bonus!! Dave and his team fixed my baby with no issues at all. The difference in price was unreal! Dave and his team of car wizards are so bloody lovely. The culture in this place is unreal. I think this is really testament to good work ethic and caring about what you do. They really know their stuff and take the time to explain everything you need to know. I will never go anywhere else now. It’s clear to see when you are sat in the office with other clients that this business is built on it’s outstanding service as the people waiting have been his clients for years. I have been using this garage for a few years now. They are very helpful, often check little things for FREE, and I have never had a reason to have an issue with any repair. They really know their German cars, and are always courteous. Today they fitted me in for an urgent repair because I am needing the car in a couple of days for a long trip, even though they are fully booked. Many thanks to Dave, Jamie and the engineers.

I cannot thank AVS enough for helping me out and sorting me out. I was expecting a job lasting a few hours but they managed to see the issue and so it ended up costing considerably less. I needed a smashed wing mirror casing urgently ahead of a trip across Europe in three days. Took it in to see Dan this morning who confirmed we need a new casing. Six hours later and replacement casing has been ordered, delivered and fitted. Two days before MB dealer would even slot me in for an inspection. Genuine "can do" attitude, very helpful. Its a shame my car with two free services as I would love the opportunity to give them more business!!

What amazing service. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I tried several so called independents and they seemed scared of the repair I needed. DDR made the whole process easy. My GLC had to be towed to them which was stressful. They couldn't have been more helpful They discussed the problem and advised . I own classic cars so know a small amount about the issue I had I know what they were telling me was correct no waffle. Good honest garage that treated me with respect. Communication was good and price was excellent considering the major problem I had with my car. I have got it back now and I can enjoy my car without the worry of the issue repeating. The range of cars they deal with there are of all ages so definitely an enthusiasts garage. Some really new models to classic I will revist for maintances in the future and thoroughly recommend. First class response to a slow puncture in our car. We rang in the morning and they told us to bring the car in at 4pm. As another local garage had failed to identify the problem, we were delighted when Sean found a small screw embedded in the tyre and fixed it within 15 minutes - at no charge! Absolutely lovely people, and they'll be getting my business (and that of my partner) in the future. Highly recommend.

Diagnosed the fault with our BMW 3 series and did an excellent job repairing it. The team are all very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I have left it four months to write this , as I wanted to leave a reliable review. Issue: my MINI engine had developed a persistent "drivetrain" issue which would surface on every drive. When the car went into drivetrain mode, it would significantly reduce the acceleration rate as it went into a protective mode. I had taken the car to other dealers. MINI Official dealership gave me a completely unrealistic open-ended quote as they could not diagnose the fault, with their quote coming out around £5k at the high end. Another garage quoted me to replace the timing chain at around £2k. Another garage quoted me over £5k for a complete engine replacement. BMS Surrey did initial diagnostic checks, and I was told there was likely to be one of two problems with the car, and was given a best case and worse case scenario. The fee estimate was realistic and narrow, £1-2k, and specifics were discussed. Result: the repair was undertaken, it came to the higher end of the range which was very reasonable in the circumstances, and most importantly, I can confirm that after four months the problem has never re-surfaced. 100% recommend! After going to another garage who told me my car was a write off because it was overheating and not holding water I thankfully got recommend to BMS. Thank goodness for recommendations! On taking my car to BMS and having them inspect it the diagnosis couldn’t have been more different. Turns out my car was overheating because it needed a new PAS fan as it had short circuited when a fuse had blown. They had actually taken the time to investigate thoroughly. What honest, knowledgable, hard working people I found and I know I will always use in future even though I have to travel a bit further. Thank you Lee & Kevin and all at BMS I am forever greatful to you for helping me keep my car on the road and my bank balance happy. 5 stars every day!

have been using lee at bms for around 4 years now and wouldn't take my bmw anywhere else!! had a issue with my 140i where the rear lights kept turning on and flashing intermittently, had taken it to bmw previously who failed to diagnose and repair the issue, take it into lee and within the day he has diagnosed the issue. part ordered, fitted, coded and back to me within the week! cant get better service then that! thank you so much car runs better then the day i got it!!

I've been going to GP Motor Repairs since 2020 and couldn't recommend them enough. I trust them completely and they always do an exceptional job at a fair price. They recently went above and beyond by fixing my car radio at no extra cost during an MOT (they managed to find the radio security code in an online system).

I took my car to investigate an intermittent fault, they took their time to try and find the cause but ultimately they couldn't locate it. Appreciate the time they took to try and investigate the fault and provided me with good advice on collecting the car. I would definitely recommend this garage.
