Service by Matthew was brilliant. Me my mum and my nephew. Lucas always wants food straight away in his high chair so we used the app to order his food first. Kids meals come with complimentary hummus and carrot/bread sticks as well as a free drink including milk or cawstons. We mentioned to Matthew he gets hungry and he went and got the hummus in minutes. This gave us plenty of time to look at the menu knowing he was happy Coke in glass bottles, some amazing flavoured dishes, plenty of tapas choices. Toy area for little ones and dog friendly 10/10 would go back

I can highly recommend here, if you're looking for a place in Manchester/Bolton to meet friends or take the family pick Blanco Lounge. Lovely atmosphere, great service, lovely food. I really liked the attention they have paid for children and babies with books and toys available to pick (for adults also) so you can chill out and enjoy your time. My nearly one year old loved the pasta so much he was shovelling it in with both hands then was squeaking for seconds....and thirds ... So offered him a little of my desert.

We came here as a group of 7 to celebrate my birthday. Relaxed atmosphere, good quality food, great menu choice, all orders came out correct, friendly staff. We all enjoyed our night! If I did have to say something, the style of cheesecake wasn’t really to our taste, at all. Sticky toffee pudding and churros were great though!

Great service all round, James was excellent with us and very accommodating. Food was nice and we didn't have to wait long. We'll be back again soon. Thanks.

Coffee Tree is our new favourite place to go now! We had a cafe latte and a hot chocolate which were amazing! We forgot to ask for the name of the gentleman behind the counter but he was so kind and helpful. He made two freshly made bacon and cheese calzone just for us which were incredible! They were so cheap at only £4.50 each! Thanks again, we will be returning soon ☺️

Best coffee in town. Selected tea, pies and cakes with a mediterranean flavour. It worth a try, you will come back for sure ! Also have a Stamp Card Scheeme and as a regulate custome you may end up with a free coffee time to time, regarding your collected stamps. The staff is very nice and friendly and if they don't have the pie you desire ready, they will bake it for you in the less time possible. You just ask! Also can order by Uber Eats and will be fresh delivered at your door. When you try few of the pies and coffee, it becomes a culture and you wish to have it every day.

A textbook americano served with skimmed milk cold, food and pastries available. My new favourite coffee shop in Horwich. Simple stuff done very well. Prices reasonable.

Dropped by for a quick coffee and cake with wife and 2 kids...we had lovely kind service from the owner. The coffee was great and kids loved the waffle and ice cream! Very reasonable pricing as well!

Ordered lunch for work, from the service to the food it was absolutely outstanding. All the staff were happy & will definitely be ordering again. A little gem in the heart of bolton. Alma & the family were very helpful & recommended their best sellers as well.

Asked for a delivery for a big breakfast and it was unbelievably good quality food and so delicious and very well packaged. Staff were very friendly on the phone and very helpful. Guy who delivered was friendly in person too. Will definitely order again.

Fantastic homemade food. Today, i had the Spanish chorizo, with poached eggs, grilled mushrooms, peppers, and feta cheese on sourdough. It's probably the best cafe in Bolton. All good quality food.

This is a lovely little cafe, great food, service and atmosphere. Staff are all very welcoming and friendly. I had a look on Google for five star cafes in bolton and what a great find this little cafe is. The cafe can get very busy and sometimes is better to book to guarantee a table :) I have seen a review on here about an assistance dog not being allowed inside and I completely agree with this decision due to the cafe only being a small business and having a open kitchen where food is prepared and cooked in front of you. I understand that assistance dogs are to help people with the guidance they need, but i personally wouldn't like them to be in such a small cafe where food is prepared and cooked in front of the customers.

I recently visited this cafe for breakfast, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, making it the perfect spot to start your day. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that I felt welcome from the moment I walked in. Amazing breakfast ❤️❤️❤️

Needed to get out today for the first time after being ill, so headed out to Rivington which has to be the best spot for views and the all important fresh air. Not having been up there for while, we were unsure of where yo head for until I decided on looking for a cafe as high up as possible that would be open in the afternoon. We picked here as the pictures online looked cute. It is! Food offering, is basic in terms of choices, but the quality is there regardless and they serve the nicest coffee (good choice). A bonus is that despite the vagaries of postcode locations, and its rural setting, the postcode listed takes you to the door. A lovely place to sit and appreciate where we live and even more so with the kind hospitality of the owners. Hopefully the daughter will get her own 4x4 soon! Lol!

Oh what a welcome sight was the Pike Snack Shack. First time at Rivington and we stumbled across here on a cold and icy day (Thurs 2/1). Staff were lovely and welcoming, despite being busy. We had 5 hot chocolates with all the trimmings and 2 coffees for around £23. The hot chocolates were amazing and just what we needed to finish the climb. We were greeted by the best dressed pooches with their bow ties on (who love a fallen marshmallow or two). Highly recommend!

Great views, lovely coffee and a great staff! There is of course Dudley! Worth it alone to visit, just for his company and to wash away any worries you have!

Love this place! It can get really busy, so sometimes just have to get a coffee to go and a look at the little artisan stalls inside selling a lovely range of gifts. Not had food here, just the odd slice of cake which was delicious 🥰. Dogs are allowed. Toilets are outside and a little cold and primitive, but serve their purpose.

Lovely place. Food is always really hot. Great value. Can be a little noisy at times with 'yappy' dogs, but totally expected for location. Scones are to die for! One of my favourite local places. Better to sit near the back so you don't feel the cold if the door is open.

Our favourite place, lovely cafe with great food and home made cakes,very good value and dog friendly. It's our dogs favourite place as you can buy sausages for your dog! But the best thing about this place is the lovely staff and owner, always so friendly and welcoming.

One of the lovely things about this tea room is its location. There is something really special about having a place of refreshment to visit at the end of a walk through nature and all the beauty that Rivington offers. Staff at the Village Tea Room have always been friendly even when rushed off their feet and the food is also good. Well worth a visit in my opinion 😊

A return visit to the lower barn cafe. A busy spot where on occasions parking can be difficult but today was fine. There is seating inside and out however we chose to sit inside. Plenty of seating available and a good menu. The menu changes and there is always a specials board. The food is very good and served quickly. Toilets are in the next building and inside there is a small shop selling local goods. Some beautiful walks on n the area so a good spot to start and end.

Visited yesterday on first sunny day in ages. After long, long walk up and around the Pike we were very ready for what the cafe had to offer. Despite being really busy, staff were lovely and polite, service was surprisingly quick and efficient. As for the food - delicious!! Excellent value for money as well as being top quality. Thank you for a lovely experience to finish off a lovely walk 😊

The barn has been extended significantly outside with weather canopies to keep the rain off. Lovely food, lovely atmosphere and decent parking although it does get VERY busy at weekends and holidays.

Lovely food, great service too. The menu is a little on the pricey side, but the food is all fresh and delicious so a nice treat after a long hike around Rivington Pike

Came to Thyme for my birthday lunch with my work colleagues, so there was 16 of us! We preordered our food and drinks (which they were very patient with as there were a few messages back and forth!) and when we arrived everything came out on time, and lovely and fresh. Everyone left very full and happy. The food was delicious, the service was flawless, and the staff were so polite and friendly. Nothing could be faulted. They also brought me a slice of cake as a birthday treat! Which was such a lovely gesture. I would highly recommend this cosy little place, 10/10!

A nice little cafe at the top of Winter Hey Lane, Horwich. Quite bohemian in style with wooden parquet floors, miss matched chairs, cuttery in tin cans and chalk boards offering specials etc. Food was OK, nothing special, thought I did order a halloumi wrap and was surprised when it came grilled, I was expecting it to be cold, but hadn't realised it was listed under the hot part of the menu. It came with plenty of salad leaves and coleslaw. There was a number of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available 😀 My friend had a feta cheese and cous cous salad with added avocado which she said was lovely. I'd like to try the vegetarian breakfast sometime.

We went to one of the painting events at Thyme Deli - it was my son's birthday, so we had food beforehand, sandwiches and a tasting platter, it was delicious and Janeve and Janice were so helpful and accommodating with our requests for food, they were really flexible with the choices and the food was fabulous, we had a really great time, the painting was such fun too - I'd definitely recommend for any occasion! 😄

I visit Luciano's regularly to meet up with friends. I have enjoyed coffee only, breakfast and lunches. The staff are really friendly and attentive. Food and coffee always delicious. Good price range. Must try an evening meal here soon!

We dined here last week, a small group of 4. Food and service was excellent. Maurizio was very attentive, toping up wine glasses and checking in. We shared the Platter, a delicious mix of starters. I had the gnocchi with lamb which tasted amazing. We all felt very looked after and you can tell the staff really care about their job and making customers happy. Would definitely return and recommend.

First visit to this wonderful cafe today (recommended by a friend) Such a lovely place, it’s small inside (3 tables) they also do takeaway. The service was 10/10 lovely people & so friendly / accommodating. The Food was delicious we had a Persian potatoes omelette (with a wonderful spice to the potatoes served with a salad) and a Persian burger Also had a scone and cake equally delicious Reasonably priced too, will definitely be going back 10/10

Beautiful family! Always made to feel so very welcome! Service excellent! Food is absolutely delicious! Always spot on and very reasonably priced! Best cafe in Horwich and always love going! Been coming in since it first opened and cannot fault it! The cafe is immaculately clean too! Huge thumbs up from me and a huge asset to Horwich!
