A great experience for my first time at the vets with my kitten. The reception staff were warm and welcoming and the vet was super nice and friendly she handled my kitten very well who was very sassy and naughty. All in all a great place and super easy and convenient.

Excellent vets with great service from both the vet and admin team. Have been my vet of choice for 3 dogs now stretching back over nearly 20 years. Building is easy to reach, sharing an access road with the car wash, but with dedicated parking and a small grass area at the front. Ramp access to the front door is easy to manage for the mobility impared. Inside is clean, bright and airy, with toilets available and a small waiting area, including an area especially for those with smaller pets that is marked as a dog-free zone. Reception / admin staff are polite and helpful, greeting customers warmly and happy to say hello to pets and try to put them at ease. I've never had to wait more than a minute or two before being called into the examination rooms. All of the vets I've seen are equally nice, friendly and cheerful, and empathic towards the animals they're treating. The examination rooms are 'compact', but big enough for the job at hand, clean and tidy. Whenever I've taken my dogs in, the vet has always taken the time to try and treat them as kindly as possible, making sure there's a little treat to be had for each injection taken or for being poked and prodded - but it's little things like letting the dog take a moment to sniff the stethescope before they're checked over that I think makes going to the vet a non-traumatic experience for them. Vets have always been happy to discuss treatment options with me and make recommendations for their care, and the prices seem fair and reasonable in my experience. Strongly recommend.

Always amazing with our Bailey who's a 14 week old miniature dachshund. He doesn't get nervous visiting and they always take good care of him every time we visit! Always quick to see you and easy enough to book appointments. Managed to get one this morning by calling up at 8.30am to see if there were any appointments. Managed to get one at 10am which was amazing. Poor Bailey's anal glands were full and needed to be expressed but the vets took very good care of him.

I visited this vets yesterday with my new kitten Rodger, the reception team were very lovely and friendly which made us feel super welcome. The interior of the vets was clean and fresh. Also the vet we saw was so lovely with him and gave him lots of love! 100% recommend this vets and so glad we chose this practice

I have got to know this wonderful vets over the last few months as the charity I foster cats with use them. I absolutely cannot fault them, whether an injection, check over, microchip or major operation every single member of staff is polite and friendly. They clearly care a lot about animals and treat each pet with compassion and love. No question or query is ever too much trouble for them and they have helped put my mind at rest as a new cat fosterer. When my plan ends with the vet I use for my own cats comes to an end later in the year, I want to move them to LVC as I know they will be in excellent hands.

We are staying in Leeds temporarily and our 14 year old dog is struggling. Saw the vet, Katherine, at short notice this morning. We really appreciated her kindness and advice. Unfortunately my puppy had swallowed some batteries but Westwood Vets were extremely attentive and saw to him straight away. They kept us updated with the process including treatments and the costs. Lovely vets! Very professional and friendly :) I often have to bring my toddler with me for my cats appointments and they're great with kids - the receptionist has colouring to keep her entertained (my toddler, not the receptionist hah!) and the vet is always so considerate too. My cat is known to be a little feisty, but the vets are always great at handling him. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Milo, my black Labrador has been going to Parkhill Vets for over 4 years since we moved to the area. He is almost 12 years old and has arthritis. It was recommended he started monthly Librella infections a few years ago which have transformed his quality of life….and put a spring back in his step! Every month I visit the surgery for his injection. I am always welcomed by the reception staff on first name terms and they always interact with Milo and make us feel extremely welcome. They know that he needs the mat putting out on the floor in the consulting room before we go in so he doesn’t slide all over and risk hurting his joints and will be more comfortable when lying down for his injection. All the vets and nurses are amazing- they really listen and make you feel extremely reassured that they have your pets best interest at heart. They have even given his injection outside the surgery on the grass area to minimise his stress. This week due to health reasons I was unable to drive and was concerned as to how I could get him to the surgery for his injection. I spoke to Julia, receptionist, who was extremely understanding. She organised his injection and dropped it at my house on her way home from work so I could administer it myself. What a first class service. Thank you Julia and the whole team for your understanding, care and compassion at what is a very difficult time for me. Christine

Parkhill Vets has excellent facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, and the caring team have a wealth of experience and expertise. 5 stars and more for Parkhill. Their care for my dogs has always been outstanding. From Receptionists to nurses to vets always caring. A special mention for Gordon who i 100% trust with the care of my dogs and is always at the other end of the phone if needed. As always a BIG THANK YOU.

There are no words to express how good this clinic is and the service they offer. They saved my girl's life. The vet spent so much time on the phone with me over several weeks, I never felt like he was rushing me, we discussed every tiny thing in detail and he was always friendly, professional and made me feel like I was his only client. The staff during check in and throughout the treatment were exceptional, phoning with very detailed updates every day. I was in hotel for 3 nights then slept in my car for 7 nights, I couldn't bring myself to be too far away in case anything happened (Squiggle was a complex case). Finally, although cost was the least of my worries, for the service provided, the time spent talking to me, their care of my little girl, their fees are extremely good value - I would have paid double. I am just so relieved this service exists. Treatment was in September 2023, it was a long journey but so worth it. Squiggle is still doing fine and will be 17 on 21st Jan!

My cat Sparky had his treatment in August. At his last check up he is doing so well. Cant thank staff enough ,with daily progress phone calls which is so comforting when they are away from you and they are always at the end of the phone for any queries I have ,

I couldn't reccomend the Hyperthyroid cat centre enough! my cat Fifi was diagnosed as hyperthyroid and after the medication didn't agree with her and made her very poorly I took the decision to request referral to the HCC. Everyone I spoken to there was lovely and so understanding! I was so worried about sending Fi away but I needn't of worried as they looked after Fi and treated her like royalty 🥰. Fifi is now officially cured of her hyperthyroidism thanks to HCC and I wouldn't even think twice of reccomending them to others or using them again as the whole process was fantastic! plenty of contact with daily calls to let me know how Fi was doing with happy lovely cat people. 100% reccomend.

Treated our Cat, Ness during Christmas she is back to herself and rolling around. It's amazing what a difference has been made

Very friendly staff who take a genuine interest in your pets and want to make you as comfortable as possible. Both vets and reception staff are efficient and kind!

Always look after our two dogs with such care. We have a German Shepherd that is very anxious around other dogs, they always let us use the back door so he doesn't come into contact with any other dogs when entering the premises. And give him the time and space he needs to feel comfortable, when he needed surgery- they let us stay with him in a nurse room whilst the pre op meds kicked in so he wasn't in kennels near other dogs. They really go above and beyond making sure our dogs and us as their parents feel comfortable and listened to. The only criticism I could have is we rarely see the same vet, and they don't really introduce themselves. But we are always so grateful for the care that is provided it's never caused an issue.

I had to take my cat in for his annual check up and booster. Calling few days before to book him in was an easy process. On the day, the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The vet was efficient, friendly and settled my cat during his inspection.

Had my first appointment with my dog Tess at Your Family Vet today. The whole team were really friendly and welcoming. It was lovely to see some familiar faces back at this practice!! Philip was super and really thorough during the appointment. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Phil, Mel and the team are just great! Very friendly and informative, they take the time to get to know you and your pet(s). They have been super accomodating when I was worried about my pup just before a weekend, got her in to get checked over and made more comfortable really quickly. And my elderly cat got lots of love and cuddles while he was in getting blood work done. Highly recommended!

First visit here since the closure of previous vets. All the staff in the practice were friendly and inviting, my two cats were treat kindly and with efficiency. Glad to have joined this veterinary practice.

We can’t thank the staff at Vita Referrals enough. Yesterday we took our 4 month old puppy there with suspected meningitis and they treated her straight away. Stuart was so knowledgable and explained the CT scan and tests in detail. Bella stayed there over night and they have an app where you can communicate with the Nurse which was amazing as they sent regular photos and updates. Bella is already home and on the mend - a massive thank you to all the team at Vita Referrals.

The care provided at Vita is excellent. They got straight to work on our puppy who had broken his leg in 2 places and we were advised that this would be a very tricky procedure and a strict recovery. 6 weeks later, our puppy’s breaks have healed nicely and his metal screws were taken out. It feels like the vets and staff have a personal investment in your animal’s recovery. They will give regular updates on your pet and even provide pictures to reassure you that they are in safe hands. The vet is excellent at what he does and has a very quick turnaround to get your pet back to form! Overall, I would 100% recommend this vet to anyone. Could not fault the care my cat had during his treatment here. He had a perineal urethostomy, and everything was explained thoroughly, both before and after. He was kept in for 2 nights after the operation, I was kept up to date on his progress with phone calls from the vet and several PetsApps updates app with pictures from the nurses. He was clearly well cared for. During further recovery at home, I had a couple of concerns/questions which were dealt with within a day on the app, with advice directly from the vet. Obviously hope I never have to use them again for Bootsy's sake, but should the need arise I would have 100% confidence in them. They weren't the cheapest option, but also weren't the most expensive, and I think the service and aftercare was worth its weight in gold so all in all very good value for money. Plus there were no hidden costs, everything was very upfront. Thank you all!!! (Pic of recovering Bootsy on the good drugs, and all better but still derpy)

Whilst playing with my other dog my springer fractured his Elbow. After being referred by my vet Vita were on the phone within a couple of hours and we were booked in first thing the following morning. Stuart explained the whole process very cleary from what had caused the injury to what he would do in surgery and the aftercare that would be required. During his stay I was updated regularly via the Pets App which is a really good thing. The pricing is fair and the service is excellent. Whilst I don't ever want to go there again I would thoroughly recommend them, if I could award more stars I would.

The service at Horsforth vets is always exceptional. It’s clear that their highly skilled and personable team are true animal lovers. We continue to go here even after moving from the area.

Could not rate more highly. My elderly cat was seen straight away - the receptionist was very compassionate to my obvious distress, and the vet was calm and experienced and able to treat him and clearly explain how to care for him with his medication. He is now starting to get better and I am delighted. Even if there hadn't been such a happy outcome, I feel confident they would have dealt with everything in a gentle manner and done all they could for us. Fabulous vetinary surgery!
