Bought a poorly kitten, got me straight in for an appointment same day I rang, the woman who seen me can't remember her name but she was very knowledgeable knew what was wrong right away gave me all the antibiotics and medication I needed walked me through everything I needed to do which was helpful as he is my first pet, did not try to get as much money as they could from me by sending him for random tests, now got a happy full of life fluffy little nutter

Great vets friendly staff the vet Stephen is very helpful and explains things in detail. Always happy to give free advice The receptionists Angela and Tracey are also very friendly and knowledgeable. Good prices too - ring around you will see this is true.

I can't thank Churchfield Vets for the care they have provided,over the last 23 years, for my mare Rosie. Yesterday was her very last day and the vet and the nurse came and showed such compassion as they helped me say goodbye to her for the last time. She was 30 years old. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Had an incredible experience today! I’m not from the local area and had travelled for specific cat dental work and everyone was understanding and lovely from start to finish. I arrived early for collection and was greeted with warm smiles and a brew and once my cat was removed from the cat carrier he was rubbing himself on the nurses legs, not mine! 😂 whilst waiting for my dad to pick us up they let my cat and I have a private room so I could let him have some freedom out of the carrier/cuddles! As an extremely health anxious pet owner, this was above and beyond! Thank you again!!!

Amazing vets! Saved our dog's life- we cannot thank them enough. They treat our pet as though she is their own. All staff are lovely and so helpful. Peter, Caroline, Will, Daniella are wonderful and so skilled in what they do. Always take the time to explain things and answer all our questions. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

We recently took our dog, Cleo, to see Badr and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care and attention she received. Cleo can be quite anxious at the vet, but from the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was calm, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. It was clear they genuinely care about animals and understand the importance of making them feel safe. Badr went above and beyond to make Cleo feel at ease, taking time to gain her trust before starting the examination. They spoke softly to her and let her approach at her own pace. The patience and gentle approach worked wonders; Cleo relaxed in a way we hadn’t seen at previous vet visits. During the treatment, Badr explained each step, which put us at ease as well, knowing she was in skilled hands. Thanks to Badr, Cleo had a positive experience, and we now feel confident bringing her back for future visits. If you’re looking for a vet who is not only knowledgeable but also exceptionally caring and skilled at handling nervous pets, we highly recommend Badr and their team. A great experience for my first time at the vets with my kitten. The reception staff were warm and welcoming and the vet was super nice and friendly she handled my kitten very well who was very sassy and naughty. All in all a great place and super easy and convenient.

Sad occasion. Our 15 year old cat had to go to sleep. The practice staff were very sympathetic and understanding as they have always been over the years we have been coming here. Would recommend 100 per cent!

I visited this vets yesterday with my new kitten Rodger, the reception team were very lovely and friendly which made us feel super welcome. The interior of the vets was clean and fresh. Also the vet we saw was so lovely with him and gave him lots of love! 100% recommend this vets and so glad we chose this practice

Excellent vets with great service from both the vet and admin team. Have been my vet of choice for 3 dogs now stretching back over nearly 20 years. Building is easy to reach, sharing an access road with the car wash, but with dedicated parking and a small grass area at the front. Ramp access to the front door is easy to manage for the mobility impared. Inside is clean, bright and airy, with toilets available and a small waiting area, including an area especially for those with smaller pets that is marked as a dog-free zone. Reception / admin staff are polite and helpful, greeting customers warmly and happy to say hello to pets and try to put them at ease. I've never had to wait more than a minute or two before being called into the examination rooms. All of the vets I've seen are equally nice, friendly and cheerful, and empathic towards the animals they're treating. The examination rooms are 'compact', but big enough for the job at hand, clean and tidy. Whenever I've taken my dogs in, the vet has always taken the time to try and treat them as kindly as possible, making sure there's a little treat to be had for each injection taken or for being poked and prodded - but it's little things like letting the dog take a moment to sniff the stethescope before they're checked over that I think makes going to the vet a non-traumatic experience for them. Vets have always been happy to discuss treatment options with me and make recommendations for their care, and the prices seem fair and reasonable in my experience. Strongly recommend.

Absolutely adore the treatment we've had with my dog and my new kitten. The staff are friendly and a pleasure to speak to. The vet knows his stuff and is very helpful with any questions. My dog recently had to be put to sleep and they were very understanding and human. I told his old vet that we recently switched from, and recieved no sympathy for such a difficult decision. Thank you Abbey vets, I will always stay loyal to them for the sake of my fur babies and the way they are/were treated.

I’ve visited Abbey Vets in High Green a couple of times now and both times I’ve received such a lovely warm welcome from Lisa on reception. She’s not only friendly but also very professional, she’s a credit to the practice.

Excellent vets, Brian is wonderful with all three of our dogs. If Brian left I would follow him to where he goes. Sometimes tricky to get an immediate appointment but just shows how popular and good they are.

Both my dogs were recently admitted to the Barnsley branch for teeth extraction and cleaning. Fantastic service from the vet, Katrina to the nurses to the receptionist, they kept us informed during the day, how they were doing. The following day, I received a call from them to see how my dogs were after their operation,it was really appreciated. Can definitely recommend Abbey Vets.
