I would highly recommend this company as they are very understanding and caring, took time to explain what was going to happen during the neutering of my dog, due to the law I had no choice, but to comply, otherwise I risked my friend being taken and destroyed due to the type of breed he is, four days in so far so good he’s back to he’s old self.

Very nice practice based in pets at home. Clean tidy and staff very polite and efficient.

Our little elderly cat Heidi was very poorly and had to receive end of life care. Dr Liz and her team were EXCELLENT, so compassionate and caring it made a very difficult situation a bit more bearable. THANK YOU

We have been very lucky to have this vet close to us and they have always provided excellent care for our four cats including directly, through referring and through helping with tests. I was compelled to write a review after 8 years however because we had to make the very hard decision to have our cat put to sleep after a very sudden illness and Vicky was a fantastic support during this time. She did what she could to make the process calm and reassured me throughout. They also arranged for the cremation and saved me a little clipping of fur and paw print to keep which has meant the world. Whitstable Bay also liaised with a specialist vet to ensure that they had all the right info to provide us and to help us understand what was happening. They have always helped with any concerns that our cats have presented with including eye conditions, weight loss and we have never felt judged about how we treat our cats (one of ours is very anti-brush/groom and does get very matted and the nurses have supported us with this at times).

My dog hates all vets but Vicky was great with her. They don't rush you and provided additional advice above what I came in for. Lea is also extremely helpful both via email and when in the practise. Thank you for taking care of my dog!

Adam, Vicky and their team are absolutely amazing. They have two of our dogs on pet plans and are amazing with them. They have also recently helped us say farewell to our other dog. Everyone who dealt with us was amazing and empathetic, nothing was to much to ask and they are without a doubt the best vets any where. Thank you for all you do and thank you for helping us through a tough time. Special thanks to Vicky and Emily who were so amazing, to the point that Emily stayed with our dog until Treasured Friends collected her. We are forever grateful.

Cannot recommend enough. The thought of having to take our beautiful Tilly to the vets (which she hated) for her final moments was awful but she had deteriorated so quickly and on a bank holiday Monday we thought we might not have any choice. The decision was incredibly hard but Silvergate made the whole process stress free. Tilly was at ease the whole time and it was just as though she had drifted into a peaceful sleep, comfortable in her own home, loved and with her family which is all we could have asked for her. Thankyou for making our final moments with her so peaceful.

On Monday I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog Barney as he had reached the end of his life. It was a very hard decision to make. However, it was made easier by the kind care and guidance provided by the vet Dr Oliver Daniels from Silver Gate Vets, who helped us handle the sad process. Also for arranging everything with Di and Kat from Barnshaw Pet Crematorium. I appreciate the gentle way they collected Barney immediately afterwards and dealt so thoughtfully with his cremation. I am forever grateful for their services.

Last week, Wednesday 1st February we had to make the gut wrenching decision to send our 18-year-old cat to heaven after a short battle with cancer. We had already decided that we wanted at-home euthanasia so that our cat Fudge was peaceful and in familiar surroundings. Oli went through the process step by step so that we were aware of the changes that may happen during the process and what to expect. He made sure to let us know exactly what was happening and reassured us that we were making the right decision. Even down to the details of his cremation such as where he was going and who would be doing it. Ensuring us he would be taken care of during his final journey. What was supposed to be a stressful and traumatic experience was turned into a quiet and peaceful send off for our cherished family cat. And for that, we thank you.

Oli came along to my home at very short notice, when it was time for my little cat Mae to be put to sleep . She hated the vets and I didn’t want to put her through that . Oli was so brilliant - kind, professional and respectful . I was dreading the whole thing, but his manner helped to make it all go calmly and smoothly . Thank you Oli 😌

Our cockapoo puppy loves Violeta. In fact, if we do our walk past Lady Dane, he pulls to go in. She’s so lovely with him. All the staff are so friendly as well.

Owning a pet can be such a joyful experience but when things go wrong or the dreaded time comes to say your goodbyes, Violetta at Lady Dane Vets is such an amazing support.

Having recently moved to the area, this was our first time at Lady Dane, Whitstable. Our 11 year old ginger tom was due his annual inoculation, flea and worm treatment and nail cut. He hates being put in a carrier and dislikes the vets even more! However, Violeta was fantastic, she ensured Harvey stayed calm all the way through (I’ve never seen him so relaxed at the vets!) and provided lots of excellent advice on his health. Harvey’s already looking forward to his next visit……

We have always had excellent treatment and care for our cats over the many years we have been registered here. Violetta and the staff are very kind & compassionate and have always done their utmost in enabling the health and well being of our cats during their lives. Thank you 😘

I have been going to Animed for over 20 years with various pets, dogs, cats, rabbits and Guinea pigs. Sadly our last visit was to say goodbye to our beautiful precious 16yr old dog Poppy. Whitstable branch were incredibly supportive and sensitive in dealing with me and my daughters. We stroked, cuddled and told Poppy we loved her as she slipped away. I cannot thank them enough for all the years of excellent service and kindness for my poorly pets.

Big thank you to vets Vicky and Johan, and the entire team for looking after our lovely boy over the last weekend. We were shown exceptional care and compassion, we were kept informed about our cat’s progress. Yes, very pricey, but we understand that the staff work nights and weekends, rent cost etc. Thank you team!

Had a desperate emergency , our beautiful cat had collapsed and was clearly in a lot of pain , rang in panic and they advised immediately and we rushed him there , their care and compassion was exceptional and so kind , thoughtful. The outcome was the worst possible we could imagine but both Lauren and Charlotte could not have done any more, truly exceptional care and kindness. In such an awful situation they helped immensely, which I was unable to convey my gratitude fully due to the loss. My dog ingested a lot of seaweed and was rushed to the practice and my dog would not allow the vets to examine her but they did everything possible considering the behaviourof my dog stella i was give advice and some pro kolin paste and i think it has helped i cant thank the staff enough thank you especially the lady that first triaged my dog i do apologise and thank you

Amazing care and service given after a worrying weekend with our Chihuahua Sid. We called Corner House Vets at 9.30am on a Sunday morning and within the hour we were registered and being seen. 5-star service from start to finish, Thank you so much ❤️

Low on the items that I needed. The animals there looked well cared for and clean. Although didn't look at fish. The vets up stairs are helpful and friendly. They have always been very supportive with all my pets.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Always have whatever we are looking for! Such a larger selection than the store in Canterbury. We always buy our fish/shrimp here, along with our supplies for our cats and dog. The pick n mix for the dog is always freshly topped up. Plus they have a variety of rodents, guinea pigs and rabbits which have great enclosures, clean and healthy. This is the only store I use now.
