Always an amazing experience at Stein’s Kingston. Authentic Bavarian food and great selection of drinks. Service is above and beyond, especially Katja who speaks both German and English, so you really feel like you’re in the Bavarian Alps. We celebrated my husband’s birthday in the area upstairs and it was one of the best parties ever! I highly recommend.
A fantastic dining experience with incredible food and service. Staff were attentive and always happy to help, particularly Jakob, who looked after us brilliantly. The goulash, red-herring salad and apple strudel were the clear highlights of the meal, however each and every item was well received by all. Always a pleasure visiting a Steins.
A bit away from main Kingston town, closer to riverside. Great Bavarian food! Very flavoursome. Staff are very kind and accommodating - all speak German too. Interior is cosy/warm vibes. Outdoor seating as well as indoors, great for summer which overlooks the river.
What a cosy and welcoming restaurant. Atmosphere was really inviting with divers of all ages from young families with babies to older couples. Great service and selection of food and beers, along with a festive menu options. The apple strudel was delicious!
I can’t say enough great things about Stein’s! This place is hands down the best spot for miles around if you’re a fan of great beer, delicious food, and top-notch service! Every pint or stein😄 is a testament to their dedication to quality, also ask for flying stag! 😅 The food? Absolutely phenomenal—each dish is packed with flavor and clearly prepared with care. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty meal or just some bites to go with your drink, they’ve got you covered. But what truly sets Stein’s apart is the incredible service. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always attentive, making every visit feel special. And if you’re looking for some festive cheer, their Christmas decorations are the best in town! The atmosphere is magical and cozy, perfect for celebrating the season with friends and family. If you haven’t been to Stein’s yet, you’re missing out. It’s a local gem that never disappoints!
