Pop in for a work lunch recently and it was a nice experience. 8 of us all ordered different dishes and everyone said the food was ok but it was just lacking flavour. The service was great and the pub itself is lovely.

We popped in for a drink a while ago and said we'd be back to sample the Sunday roast. Well, we weren't disappointed. After a frustrating start when the staff didn't even acknowledge our existence (a simple smile and "I'll be with you in a moment" would've been amazing) our experience was uphill all the way. We arrived early enough to grab one of only 4 tables available in the bar that weren't reserved as the place was fully booked, so felt very lucky. I had a mulled wine (and then another as it was good and hot) and the veggie roast. He had the turkey. Both dishes were plentiful, colourful with a large dish of vegetables on the side. We also ordered the cauliflower and broccoli cheese, which I highly recommend. We were both extremely impressed with the quality, quantity and flavour of the meal. Judging by the capacity of the pub, everyone in the area feels the same way! We didn't have starters, but watching the prawn cocktails being taken to other tables, I'd recommend trying one alongside the main roast. Definitely recommend the Three Horseshoes to anyone. Couldn't fault anything. But it's popular, so book a table to be sure.

We came all the way from doncaster to visit Thorpe park, We decided to have some quality food and we definitely made the right choice. Outstanding service, Above and beyond quality of food, Amazing place for couples.... I will come here again

Such a lovely pub with a great atmosphere and beer garden. Food is delicious, plenty of vegetarian options too and they do a great roast. Staff are wonderful and attentive. I've been with friends with dogs before and the staff have been thoughtful enough to offer a dog bowl and bring out some treats. This is always my go to pub and one I recommend to family, friends and colleagues. You won't be disappointed!

A lovely meet up with friends for Sunday lunch. We all chose Roast Beef, really good, cooked well, hot, plenty of everything, even bottomless gravy. Staff warm & friendly. Our server Kathy was really lovely, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend. I'd advise to book as gets quite busy😍

Great pub with great food, good service and quality drinks. Was really impressed. Dog friendly and ideally placed for several dog-walk routes. We shall be visiting more frequently in future. Love the huge log fire too.

It's a pub that's hidden -but that's what makes it so unique! Food was delish and it came sizzling, table service was great. :)

Simply the best. We are greeted like family, food is excellent, served piping hot , and with a smile from the waiting staff. The beer is kept excellently, and nothing is too much trouble. From the management, kitchen staff to the atmosphere and ambience , the Skimmington Castle is THE place to visit for a family meal. 10/10 Love, The Heywood/Rodriguez family xx

The best, perfectly cooked steak, I've had in a long time. It's doesn't look like much from the outside but looks are definitely deceiving. They have a great choice of steaks and cuts, cooked to perfection, with a fantastic assortment of sides and sauces to accompany them. As well as a excellent selection of wines. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it's great for little ones too, especially if they have a good appetite. Book ahead as it gets very busy, but definitely one for those who love a great steak 😊

I have been wanting to visit Buenos Aires for years but for one reason or another I haven't been able to. This year for my birthday I made sure of heading here for my birthday meal, and what an amazing meal it was. Firstly as soon as we stepped in the restaurant the manager (who happened to be looking after us) made us feel so welcome, like we were old family. We had two kids in our party and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure they were looked after. Between us we had fish, steak and burger and all the meals were superbly presented, tasted delicious and portion sizes were perfect. Two of the party had the steak sharer with the malbec infused salt - the manager gave excellent advice on the correct level of cooking for each of the cuts, and made sure we knew which cut was which when serving. We thought the salt could have been a bit of a gimmick but it really added a lot to the cuts. Desert wise our party tried a couple of the different options on offer and they certainly didn't disappoint either. From a drinks perspective the restaurant offers a good range of wines, and great mocktails. If you have the chance I would definitely recommend trying the limoncello as well. Personally this meal experience for me has been the best one for quite a few years, and I am very glad I decided to push on with my desire to have my birthday meal here this year. I just hope I can return again soon.

Had a great time here. The place was clean, the food was awesome and the service was extremely friendly. There was a little bit of confusion with one item on the menu and this was quickly cleared up. The starters, mains and desserts were all tasty and very generous sizes. We've wanted to go here for quite a while and on the strength of this visit I would definitely go again. One of the best restaurants in Reigate, easily.

We went from neighbouring city after reading its review. And it didnot disappoint us. Our party of four went for sunday funday set menu. We ordered vegetarian and non vegetarian food and every dish is full of flavour and portion sizes are generous.

Very happy to have recently discovered this restaurant and have been ordering regularly from here since then. The only place offering Veg Momos and authentic chutney nearby. The vegetarian food options are good. The paneer is actual paneer and not tofu as a lot of ‘indian/nepali restaurants’ offer. I would like to make a special mention of the staff who are always respectful when we call. They deliver within the time frame they mention. I would really recommend this restaurant

Absolutely delicious. Moved back to the UK after 14 years and delighted to see this restaurant still going strong, and still as excellent as we remembered. Friendly staff and excellent food.

We had our wedding reception here at the end of September, and it was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious with great portion sizes. The staff were amazing, friendly, and worked so hard, Marc, the owner was so accommodating of all requests, and we honestly had the best day! We decorated the marquee the day before, and we stayed in one of the rooms the night of our wedding, which was cosy and clean. Highly recommend for a wedding reception 😊

I’ve visited The Red Lion and Cellar Room several times, and each visit has been a delight. The food is consistently excellent, with a great selection of dishes that never disappoint. The drinks menu is equally impressive, offering a range of options to complement the meals perfectly. The ambiance is welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy quality food and drinks. Highly recommend both venues for a consistently enjoyable dining experience.

Amazing stay. took the offer of Wine, Dine and Sleep. the menu is extensive for all, and the food- wow the portion size is outstanding, wife and I could have shared the main course ! Although, please do not try the beef and red wine pie please - it means that next time we stay down there, there will be a portion for us :)

We visit the Grumpy Mole on a regular basis and one of the great things about it is the consistency- of food, of service- so you know you are always going to get value for money. Today we tried the Filet steak on the stone, a lovely treat. The steak keeps cooking so that you can get it to exactly your preference. It's a beautiful setting too, and today we sat outside looking across the fields in the sunshine: glorious!

Lovely food (my 10yr old son started eating the "delicious" ice cream stuffed pancake before I could take the pic 😆), excellent portion of Sunday roast with good selection of well cooked veg. Nice sized kids portion, he still had room for garlic bread and an adult sized pud!! 13yr old enjoyed cooking his own steak to his liking (meal adjusted for his dairy allergy no problem) and he loved the dairy free chocolate cake dessert, good sized portion too. My creme brulée was also excellent. Good value, good service, good atmosphere. Will happily return, thank you!!

Wonderful pub in Oxted. Smiley staff, beautiful location and child friendly. I had fish and chips and it was such a delicious batter. I took a picture after I started as it looked mouth watering.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. My family and I celebrated Christmas lunch here, and everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly accommodating, the food was exceptional, and the portion sizes were generous. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect setting for our gathering. With a party of 18, we were all thoroughly impressed by the outstanding service. A big thank you to the entire team for working so hard on Christmas Day. We will definitely be back!

Lovely pub with a great countryside atmosphere. It’s nice and cozy inside, with a charming low ceiling. The outside area is perfect for nice and sunny days. Good selection of beer and the steak sandwich is delicious. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed a family dinner at The Parrot and LOVED it! The food was fantastic with a super allergy-friendly menu. The back side of the menu has a QR code that takes you to a menu that can be filtered by allergen so that you can be assured your meal will be safe for your dietary restrictions. The fish and chips was outstanding. The piece of fish was thick and fresh with a shatteringly crispy fry on the exterior. The mushy peas were refreshing and a pleasant novelty from the perspective of a tourist! There were multiple cask ales on tap, so our party collectively tried them all. The Shere Drop was my personal favorite! And definitely save room for dessert! There are multiple sorbet options and even a vegan cheesecake.

Its the first time that i have eaten in The Parrot after years of brief visits during motorcycle rides or network events. I an excellent venue, a great menu and food. The vibe is perfect and very homely for a large pub. The staff could not do enough, just excellent. Book though - it is very busy on Sundays but it as well oiled machine, so wait times are fine.

This was our first time dining at Monte Forte in Reigate and we were not disappointed. Casual relaxing dining , amazing authentic wood fired pizzas and staff were polite and friendly . We will defiantly be coming back x

I’ve been here a couple of times for the lunch menu and have been impressed. The service is friendly and efficient, pizzas come out quickly, and they’re super tasty. They are a great size, nicely topped and there is a good variety on the menu.

Came to celebrate anniversary with my husband. Staff are friendly. Pizza is chewy and super tasty. Highly recommend!!!

There was a very varied menu to choose from with different cuisines featured. The food was delicious, though my meal was a tad too spicy for my preference. The serive was also excellent with out several Lubi being attentive without being overbearing. I would definitely recommend the Reigate Bill's and will happily come back again.

The Bills in Reigate is lovely. The portion sizes are huge! Very good value, the service is fantastic. Lubi was our server and was so welcoming. He had a chat with us and made us feel like valued customers rather than just another table. Definitely needs a bonus!

Had a fantastic dinner at Bill’s Reigate with my friend. Tetiana, our waitress, was amazing , super friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. The food was delicious, and her service made the evening even better. Will definitely be back!

Reigate Bills is very nice. The service was excellent, shout out to Morgan the waitress. We had 2 cocktails which were tasty and hit the spot. The food was really good. Overall, I recommend Reigate Bill’s.

Excellent service, a warm welcome and great hosts. Food was very good and piping hot. Very lively atmosphere the music was possibly a bit too loud in the restaurant itself as it made conversation quite difficult. Perhaps I'm getting old! Definitely worth a visit and hopefully we will be there again soon.

One of the best steaks I've had for a long time! Good food all round, excellent service, evening was swinging with good tunes, plus well behaved groups from various companies and the general public!

We enjoyed an excellent Christmas Lunch. It was the first time we had ever dined out in place of cooking. The service was attentive and friendly. The Galu Restaurant enjoys a good reputation and loyal clientele for a good reason- outstanding food and ambience. It's a high class venue . The garlic and chilli king prawns were delicious. The kleftiko the most delicious I have ever tasted. My family became somewhat full after 2 courses. I tried some of their sea bass and roast turkey- all excellent. The date and toffee pudding was light and fluffy , exquisite flavours. A 10/10.
