This is THE best place for genuine North Indian food. The owner has created an incredible menu and also works in the kitchen to make sure everything is perfect. Incredible for vegetarians too. The food is exceptional and the staff are wonderful, super friendly. Newly refurbished, Amazing

Don’t think of any others places if you’re looking for proper indian street taste in bolton . grate taste of everything especially Idli dosa sambhar. Must try : masala papad, basket chaat, dal tadka, masala dhosa and Masala buttermilk 👌🏻👍🏻. Will definitely recommend every Indian especially vegetarian.

I had an absolutely amazing dining experience here! My friend Jyotiraditya introduced me to this place, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The flavors were incredible – the Lamb Kadhai and Chicken Kadhai were both cooked to perfection, bursting with rich spices and authenticity. Every bite was a delight! The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable. The staff made sure we had everything we needed, making the experience even more enjoyable. This food is as authentic to the region of India that it originates as you will get. Don’t go there expecting the food you get in other Indian restaurants, this is the food you get in India. The depth of flavour is incredible, mean it cooked and served on the bone and you will leave with the authentic taste of India on your lips. Monica is an amazing cook, a beautiful soul and a wonderful host. Please help this restaurant succeed as it deserves, Bolton is lucky to have it!

Never imagined there’s such a nice and authentic Thai eatery in a local pub. Will definitely visit again.

My first visit here and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff and customers. I ordered Thai Green Curry which was one of the best I’ve tasted, cooked by a Thai chef :) I will definitely be going back to try some of their other Thai dishes and meet the friendly staff and locals :)

This is a review specifically on the new restaurant that has opened up by Unity Brook Inn called Thai Korat. Though you can sit both inside or outside of this establishment, we decided to sit outdoors, and it was absolutely comfortable for us, even being so close to the road, we hardly noticed the traffic passing by. The menu is huge! Which is great if you want to explore new dining options, but if you’re undecided, this menu may be slightly overwhelming for you. They offer a vast array of dishes, which cover most dietary options. We decided on something familiar to us and must say, the food was absolutely delicious and true to the Thai-style. The amount of food served was deceiving as you think you might have a relatively small portion, but we were very much full-up and even needed a take-away to take home with us. The nice thing about this establishment is the friendly service and continued customer care during our meals. The extra touch was having the Owner and Chef personally deliver the courses. One thing to note here is that if you order any beverages, they are to be ordered directly from the bar as the restaurant only cater for the food - but this is a very small thing to factor in.

Excellent food would go again and highly recommend they do lovely cocktails aswell as food and the waitress was also lovely who served us nice little spot in Bolton town centre it cost us nearly 80 for what we had and one drink each but we did go on a Saturday they have offers on in the week so if you didn't want to pay as much but want lovely food then I would recommend going on a week day . I did think it was worth the price we paid to be honest I didn't have one complaint

Really pleasant lunch in Bolton. Good food and reasonable deal. We enjoyed the tapas dishes and the tiramasu pudding too. The service was excellent y the male Portuguese born waiter and his female colleague.

The food was amazing. Service was really good. Restaurant was nice and clean. You need to book in advance as they are always fully booked, with good reason. Photos are of the garlic bread starter. Calamari, lamb kebabs, garlic prawns, chicken wings, ribs, chorizo and cheese and Brie. All freshly cooked, tastes amazing. 5 star review. I will definitely be back.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at La Roma with family yesterday. The food and service were both excellent. Great atmosphere. I would highly recommend a return visit. Thank you to the staff who gave is a great afternoon and experience.

Lovely place and really enjoy going! Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. the only reason I dropped one star off the food was that there are no obvious vegan options. I know I can go elsewhere but I do want to say how amazing this place is and how fantastic the atmosphere, location and people are! Definitely worth a visit and I will continue to support them.

Came for coffee on the day of the village fête. They were quite busy but the ladies at the bar were so lovely, polite and clearly working very hard. The atmosphere outside felt like we were on holiday!

Excellent rural location surrounded by plenty of Riverside walks. The pub has a good sized beer garden which is very well maintained and a great setting for a post walk meal and a pint. Staff very friendly and helpful and the menu has a good choice of pub classic. Highly recommend the Rag pudding. Delicious! Very nicely presented inside. A proper country pub vibe with a good selection of drinks and food available. It is recommended to book a table, particularly if nice weather as it will get busy. Definitely be back.

Food is really good here. They do a lot of homemade dishes aswel. Lovely place for food or drinks and in the summer nice outside area to sit. They also have a dog friendly seating area inside where you can eat / drink which is great when we bring our dog.

Lovely pub with extensive menu choice. Lunch time deal excellent value and definitely doesn't compromise on on meals. All freshly cooked and very tasty. Good selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks including non alcoholic gin and Guinness. Ample parking spaces. Friendly and welcoming staff.

The food was absolutely beautiful. We had 3 courses which were cooked to perfection, tasted delicious and came out on time. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. I’d highly recommend.

This is truly an excellent restaurant and highly recommended. All the dishes were delicious and you won't be disappointed at all. The desserts are always surprising and delightful. Great thanks from Gerda who was very professional and friendly.

Ordered 2x burger and fries, came back to collect 10 mins later food was ready and hot. First time trying mamies and I was super impressed good quality ingredients used and homemade chips. Customer service was good the guys inside were super nice and offered me dips and a drink on the house. I will be returning.

I am a bit of a picky eater so places like this can sometimes be a bit worrying but I got the veggie finger sandwich(es) with chips on the side as well as a couple of sides and it was really nice and decently affordable. A guy named Joey served me and he was a nice guy and we had a quick chat while I was ordering so that was nice. All in all decent place and my family loved the carvery and really want to get one of the pizzas next time after seeing people with them, would recommend

We visited this afternoon, the traditional Carvery was delicious, plenty of the gammon, and a large vegetable selection, roasties were perfect, had a bit of everything topped off with good gravy. However the Cheeseburger was disappointing, the two burgers lacked flavour, the melted cheese had stuck to the top half of the bun, one small piece of lettuce and no dressing, perhaps a large slice of tomato and a little more lettuce and some dressing. Good pint of John Smiths and coffee was good as well.

Just revising my last review having learned Google don't allow more than one review dor a business which is a shame ! Want to show my appreciation of the lovely; friendly caring staff, especially, this time , managers on duty Emma and Andy during my latest visit today. I'd popped in for a light late breakfast from themenu ( where usually myself and partner Angie normally call in early doors for the local Stonehouse teams wonderful great value buffet help-yourself breakfasts after tge school run ! The standard of hospitality here is consistentky high, definely has the X factor and you're guaranteed a nice family feel, comfy relaxed atmosphere, food to a consistent high high standard . All the staff so professional, engaging , genuinely friendly and going the extra mile for you. The place is always spotless and it's clear the team , all levels ,are happy, passionate about what they provide for customers. Both Emma and Andy gave me helpful advice when I asked about possibility of takeaways( for Angie's elderly mum ) and so happy to learn about how that's done and the care that goes into that option. Also told about the app and the loyalty rewards for customers who join! Given a card with a Q code by Andy to make that a doddle registering. Apologies for taking sneaky candids of the managers ( too engaged with customers to notice) - I've respectfully cropped out those they were serving. Thanks too, when later, having mislaid my debit card , I dropped in tonight . It has not been handed in but was asked for my number so if their cleaner colleague found it in the morning they could ring me ( mentioning she was a star , meticulous and thorough. Later , when home I phoned just to flag up I'd found tge card hiding under my driver's seat . Damn those senior moments! ) Again had been treated as if I was family by another Andy , who is a resident chef there abd off duty- when enquiring about my card . Nice he remembered me- and my partner as regulars at bigger breakfast time! No wonder this is our first choice for our milestone family events , quality carvery, great value and genuinelyvfamily friendly. Know lots of people who love this place- so wish more people would feed back to let the staff know they are appreciated . ( Seems to be a Brit thing only commenting negatively and only if they have a gripe about a business of service. You can be assured that if something is not to your satisfaction this team will go out of their way to ensure your experience is positive. ) thanks again guys- you made my day.
