An all round enjoyable stay. Great quality fairly priced food. It was a Sunday and we had the Sunday sharer preceded by tasty fishcakes. The cheeseboard was to duie for too. The room was comfy and spacious as was the bathroom. A star off the room as cleaning wasn't done thoroughly. Otherwise the breakfast was very good and ample parking made this a great stay.

What a fantastic restaurant and venue this was for our wedding reception. The food and service were out of this world and all of our guests told us they would be coming back to enjoy more food. Special thanks to Jack who made planning and the event its self so perfect we couldn’t have asked for a better host. He and his team were top notch from start to finish. If you need a place for a party or event I couldn’t suggest Tre Ciccio more and you won’t be disappointed with the selection of food/drinks. Thanks for an amazing night and we’ll be back for future meals/events.

I went here to attend a local ladies lunch with Rammy Ladies. The food was pre ordered from the festive menu. Came out hot and delicious. Then staff were attentive and the atmosphere was lovely. Will definitely be back. I had the goats cheese pizza.

First visit back in around a year, fantastic as always and the new menu is divine. Great value for money, fast service and general all round good atmosphere! We had the goats cheese bon bons and ribs to start, the ribs were phenomenal and I recommend to anyone visiting. We then had the chicken burger (with aspen fries) and fish and chips. Fish was super fresh and the burger incredibly tasty.

The food was on the pricier side, but you don't mind paying for food that is truly worth it. And this place is definitely worth the extra price in my opinion. There are other eateries in the area that are similarly priced that have food which is much worse. They don't have a large menu, but what they do they do they do well. My only thing that I disliked would be the sherbety tangy/sweet rocks that were with the brownie and ice cream desert. I feel that was a poor pairing that ruined every bite that had some in. Everything except that particular part of that particular dish was very good. The atmosphere was good, service was also very good. Nothing much to complain about, unless you're an especially price conscious person. If so, then admittedly, you might find the value proposition lacking. An example of this would be the fact that the sticky rib starter is £9, and it came with 2 ribs (first time I had it, it came with 3 slightly smaller ribs, second time with 2 larger ribs). Now, for me, I didn't mind much. The ribs were rather big and were excellent. Absolutely delicious. But for some the prospect of spending £4.50 per rib might be offensive regardless. For me I'm okay with spending extra for a nice meal every now and then after a long country walk. Edit: Upped my overall score to 5 stars because I do feel the overall experience was worthy of 5 stars, despite the food and atmosphere losing a star each. The loss of star for food is due to that desert I disliked and the price. While atmosphere lost a point due to how crowded and rowdy it can get. I prefer a calmer, comfier dining experience, but at the end of the day, the building is an old one in a village near popular walking paths so there's not much to be done about it. Hence the loss of just a single star. I would have also liked some comfier chairs when not in a booth, and for it to have higher quality furnishings in general. With that being said, considering a considerable number of clientele are those who've been on dirty country walks (and those with dogs), they may feel that it's simply not worth it; and their current aesthetic does have its own charm in my opinion. Now that was a fair bit of criticism but with all that said I think the overall experience wasn't really negatively impacted despite these issues being there. Somewhat greater than the sum of its parts in a way... the great location great food combo is hard to beat even if some issues are present.

The managers Troy, Kendal, and staff are attentive, well-dressed and well-groomed They are responsive to their customer needs, provide good customer service that is both courteous, prompt and quick, checking on their customers often; they make the 'dining experience' more personal, and are always willing to go that 'extra mile'. The food is of a high quality and has a good flavour, aroma, appearance, and texture. The Eagle and Child is a 'must' visit, you will not be disappointed! Ho can you improve on perfection..................YOU CANNOT!!!

The eagle and child a few months ago had amazing food, probably the best steak in the area. We visited this week and we're disappointed with the food, the fish was double fried which was really crispy but the interior mushy, another dish was the chicken burger which it was great to see 2 fried thighs but these were really greasy. It was as though no time had been given for them to rest before loading them to the bun or serving, it wasn't nice at all. Only because of the first few experiences and the lovely staff can I say the rating is a 4/5 ... the latest visited is more 2/5 also because the menu was more limited and lack of beers and ales available.

We came here for a meal, 3 adults and 2 children. We had a lovely table, tucked away in the corner which was ideal for a catch up chat and to play some games at the table. We were warned that the food may be a little delayed due to a busy dinner service which was good to know but in fact, we didn’t wait too long at all. Our server was Troy and what an absolute pleasure it was to meet him, beautifully welcoming, exuberant and very attentive throughout our visit. Nothing was too much hassle and even though it was a busy evening, we didn’t wait long for anything. We also had two dogs with us and he told us where the dog biscuits were and was attentive to them also. We ordered from the children’s and main menu, all food was delicious. One steak was slightly overcooked, still very delicious, but as such, the team offered us a complimentary pudding to make up for it and were very genuine about how they dealt with the issue. We believe, the manager, approached the table to take our order and when we planned to order one pudding between us, she kindly offered us another to try and advised it would be on the house, a really lovely touch. The 2 puddings and some ice creams and again, the desserts were delicious. All round, a lovely meal, great atmosphere and made very lovely by the staff.

A lovely Italian in the centre of Tottington. I had the Sea Bass which was great, all my friends enjoyed their dishes and my friends folded meat feast of a pizza off the special menu looked, and she said, tasted great. I definitely recommend you book as it was very busy at 7pm on a Thursday evening, so service was a little slow and some of the items on the menu were finished. Lovely quirky decor with lots of imitation flowers and trees festooned with fairy lights, mixed up with Italian moped and statues, very romantic.

Very nice pub! Lovely atmosphere great food. Got very busy and extremely loud after 5pm on a Saturday (to be expected) and people were itching for seating. Food was on point and service was attentive. Will Definitely be visiting again

The food was different, for example, I had smoked pulled mushroom chilli with rice, which was a dish I've never seen elsewhere, they also had a vegetarian Katsu curry which my friend had the chicken version and said it was delicious, it definitely smelled nice and my other friend had a burger with chips and onion rings which again looked very tasty, again they did a vegetarian version. Other options were; mac n cheese, supergrain salad with corn ribs or vegan burger. Although the chap who served us was pleasant enough, it would have been nice if he'd taken our order at the table, especially since it was quiet when we first entered at 6pm. I'm not sure who's fault it was, but we received our main courses before our starters. They obviously took them away, but we had to wait longer for them to make them. Again some different vegetarian options including; halloumi fries with chilli sauce, meat-less tacos, which were a bit dry, corn ribs or nachos to share. I'll definitely go again and try the other vegetarian dishes, worth a second visit. PS. I apologise for the poor photos as we'd started eating before I remembered to take a picture.

Great quality, inexpensive food for everyone. Great staff and service. The place is clean and has great facilities. Be cautious if you're driving, plenty of people who for some reason think they have priority parking tend to park in baffling positions with little care for everyone else.

First visit to the Duckworth Arms, which didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the pub clean and well presented. More so was the food, not many places cook burgers "properly" but my tower burger was nailed. Lovely caramelisation on the outside and succulent meat juices oozing from the centre, great quality meat also. The cheese pie was equally as good, plus great portion size and value. Definitely recommend

I love this place :) the food is always excellent, I recommend the tower burger! Staff are amazing and welcoming, so friendly. You never feel uncomfortable here! Such a warm environment. Julie is wonderful and chatty and it’s like talking to a friend, Jack is great and welcoming, and the rest of the staff are lovely and welcoming too! Definitely recommend here whether you’re on your own or with your family and friends! x

Came here for evening tea with my Fiance and my little 4 year old child. Was served at the bar by a polite bar man called Tom he was well mannered and very polite. I had a carvery my partner tried one of there burger meals and our 4 year old child enjoyed her chicken piecemeal. We later enquired about booking for Christmas dinner later this year as we hear one of the chefs recommend Christmas lunch to another costomer and that they had already began taking orders this year. So we was greeted by the on duty manager called Ash who explained everything to us so why we was there we decided to book there and then for Christmas 2025 dinner. Can I just say that Tom & Ash are a credit to you establishment and we will be back again soon.
