Absolutely divine!! If I could give more stars I would! We all went as a family meal for my sister in laws birthday. Clean, good atmosphere & Even though the restaurant was busy, the staff were very attentive & friendly, we didn’t have to wait too long for our food or drinks. The food was served nice & hot, you could tell fresh, quality ingredients had been used, well presented & tastes amazing!! Would highly recommend this restaurant.

A gem! There are so many superlatives you could use, but let's get straight to the point here, it's just a great place. The food is superb, the service is equally as good and pricing is what you'd expect of a good Italian. Yes it's Ashton and they're charging Manchester prices, but you know what? Who cares when the food is of this quality? Genuinely one of the best Italian eateries around.

Packed Friday night but didn't struggle to book a table for 2 at 7pm a few days before. Every member of staff we encountered was absolutely 'on it' friendly and attentive, and the only time I had to ask for something was the cheque at the end. All 3 courses of food were delicious and I'd highly recommend this independent local restaurant over any well-known chain that you'd find near a cinema or city centre.

Finally got to come here (a few weeks ago) and it was so so worth the hype! I loved all of the seafood pasta options on the day, and our star of the show was definitely the Italian fennel with anchovies parpadelle it was so so good. I feel like this place really does pasta well without trying to be trendy or by reinventing the wheel unlike some other pasta bars in Manchester. But this is not to say that the food was ‘boring’ it was far from that, everything we had was clearly made with so much care. They were always very accommodating with my friend asking to take out dairy on certain dishes which was really appreciated Also the prices were super reasonable, with the options for smaller or larger plates. We got 4 small plates (see photo for portion sizes) and it was more than enough we couldn’t finish it all. The only thing is it’s kinda hard to get to due to location but it is worth the trip out!

We were very lucky to get a last minute (cancellation) slot, and what a treat it was. A warm welcome from Rebecca and a delightful service from the team. All the hype is really around the food and it didn't fail to impress, the first forkful made me go wow! Portion size, I would stick with smaller size, The cocktails were good too, all in all it deserves the reputation and the long wait for a booking.

This is a popular restaurant, and I had to make a reservation three months in advance. The place is small but has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. My family and I ordered steak, mushroom ravioli, and carbonara – all of which were absolutely delicious. We then ordered some desserts, which did not disappoint either. The prices and portion sizes were reasonable, allowing my family and me to enjoy a wonderful lunch. I’ve seen reviews saying that this is one of the best Italian restaurants in Manchester, and I believe that’s no exaggeration.

The assistance was fast very nice and cozy! I loved how the waiter let me mix around their menu and made something very well! The meals were perfect and delicious and I loved the portion size and it was very hygienic!

Absolutely lovely place , the staff were welcoming and attentive without being over the top. The food was delicious, so much so we both ended up having three courses, we couldn't say no to dessert even though we were stuffed. We would definitely go back x

This was the first time my husband and I had gone to Abbraccio. It was a Friday lunch time. Soon as we walked in we were greeted in a very polite manner. The restaurant looked very nice. There was a very chilled atmosphere. All the staff were ever so lovely and very very helpful. As I have ceoliac disease I don't really eat out much. I was so impressed with the gluten free options. There was so much to choose from and the staff were on hand to help too. we had an amazing meat platter for starters and we both went for pizza for our main, mine being gluten free of course. The food is amazing. To finish with we both had a dessert which again was lovely. I cant recommend this place enough. You have to go and try it. It's worth every penny. We will definately be going again.

A huge thank you to everyone at Benvenuto for making my dad's 80th birthday party extra special. I really appreciate the hard work that went into preparing everything beforehand and especially on the day in feeding 33 hungry guests 😁 EVERYONE loved the food and had a great time. The service was fantastic. Highly recommended and most definitely one of the best restaurants in Tameside. The food and service is exceptional. Always. We went by Saturday 5:30pm for our reservation of 6.Really lovely atmosphere & quiet at the time which was perfect for us.We enjoyed the food but found the service fairly slow.We also found one of the waiter’s to be quite rude. He missed off a dish so it didn’t arrive until after mains had been served - was meant to be as starter - we told him it’s been missed.Also had an ear peice in & seemed distracted. He said we didn’t place an order for the dish & he had repeated the order (he hadn’t).I was doing a take out too for us for one item. It took a while for them to grab the take out menu for us & the £10 prawns were over priced for takeout. There were 4 prawns & not much else in the box. The food was tasty & lovely setting - just need to work on their customer experience as it’s marketed as ‘ultimate dining experiance’. The shahi tukda dessert also had a very strange taste to it & was served cold. I can’t remember if it’s mentioned on menu whether it’s served cold but it’s usually served warm as it’s a type of bread & butter pudding. Overall a good experience but area for improvement as always.

The flavors in each dish were perfectly balanced. I was amazed at how well the ingredients complemented each other. We were initially sat at the centre of the room and asked a member if staff if we could sit elsewhere however she needed to ask her manager to get approval, found it strange yet we did sit in our chosen seating area after the staff member confirmed it was ok to move.

Food service atmosphere is 💯💯💯💯we have been coming here for years now it’s my daughters favourite curry house and all the family xxx

We go here all the time, after my sister mentioned it and tonight we decided to order online and watch a movie. However we can't fault the personal atmosphere you get it's quiet, cosy and chilled out foods quality and the staff are polite. You can enjoy date night without hassle.

great good looking bar girls. great karaoke. beer garden and smokers area brilliant. if keep prices reasonable then it's worth going for nights out. some really good singers.

Very pleasant atmosphere and service was excellent. They were about to close when we arrived quite late in the evening but stayed open just for 7 of us.

First visit Christmas Day Lunchtime, the staff were very welcoming and the place was busy, we were made to feel that we were regulars, which made this pub, one of in my opinion old school , Dartboard, plenty of conversations, a great choice of Beers at the bar, a lovely first visit to a good friendly boozer.

I visited Giovanni's with my wife for the first time on Sat 25th Jan 2025, having made the reservation online a few days prior. When we got there we almost didn't get to eat as all the water in the area had been switched off due to an ongoing issue, however, pity was taken on us and we were the last ones allowed to dine. The food was absolutely delicious, they don't try too hard to make everything fancy, it's just good, honest, hearty food at a decent price. The service was also amazing and we ended up having a great time, chatting with the owner/manager about the water issues among other things. It was a shame for the business that all other bookings had to be cancelled, we were the last to leave and just as we were settling the bill the water was switched back on. Not a great night for Giovanni's but still a great experience for us, we will definitely return again soon.

A great local Italian restaurant, all the staff are excellent, very friendly and give great service. Have a good menu. choice of dishes is great and the food very tasty. Highly recommend if your in the area, but be sure to book, as gets very busy!

Can’t recommend it enough.Fantastic food best I’ve tasted in a long time.We had a party of 15 and we’re all served together no one was left waiting and food was served piping hot. Staff were friendly and welcoming ,also no rush after we had finished to leave. Definitely go again and recommend to friends.

We tried the festive treats. Wow! Lush. Loaded Tatter Tots! Could have eaten them twice - so good. Great service. Lovely homely atmosphere. Staff are great. Will return for more loveliness. Really good prices too.

Great food, great service with a warm, friendly atmosphere. Can not fault the price and quality of the food and the fabulous daily special at £5.50 per meal. Large portions and real chips!!!
