I've been to the Dunham Barn many times but had to review after the excellent service on Saturday! We had the afternoon tea to celebrate a friend's engagement - they let us set up balloons in the room 1hr-30 mins before which was brilliant. Staff were friendly, welcoming and couldn't have been more accommodating! Great selection of hot drinks, cold drinks, food and cakes. We had the afternoon tea for a friend's celebration and there was plenty as we had to take some home in to go bags! Sandwiches, scones and chocolate treats with macaroons. They catered to dietary requirements as a friend was gluten free. Would highly recommend!
We had a great time, the venue was very nice. My grandchildren and adults enjoyed it. Father Christmas and his helpers were fabulous. Father Christmas chatted nicely with my 4 grandchildren and was very aware of their ages and what would interest them. We all loved the Father Christmas sitting room, it was so cosy that we would have stayed a LOT longer! We only had marshmallows and drinks, but it was great. The kiddies loved toasting them on the fire. I hope that we can go next year. Thank you We took many pics, but I cannot seem to find them to post, but the pic is of my 4 grandchildren enjoying their gifts and looking forward to a carvery to finish the day off!
Lovely little Tearooms tucked away in the Cheshire Countryside a hidden secret, local to our beautiful Dunham Park. Great for walks. Excellent food made from local produce. Catered for Vegetarians. Great staff Cathy was so helpful. Lovely atmosphere so quaint a most enjoyable afternoon. Would definitely go again
Good food and cake selection. Bacon butties are great, and there's good gluten free options. Service speed is a little relaxed so if you're in a rush, this might not be the best but it's absolutely fine for a chill afternoon cuppa
Booked breakfast with Father Christmas for my two children & four adults. Just want to thank Dunham Barn for such a magical experience. The food was fantastic. Not to mention the amazing Father Christmas, who had all the adults in stitches laughing. Something for the adults & the children. My youngest daughter has additional needs, and I’ve never felt so welcome and safe taking her somewhere to eat and sit down. She wasn’t overwhelmed or overstimulated. I really appreciate the special experience we had today. Especially all the staff, lovely people.
