We have been visiting this cafe/Restaurant since opening 5 years ago. Owner Vinod is a 5* Chef and with help his wife Sarita they provide excellent atmosphere and amazing both veg and non Veg dishes to spice level of your liking. Menu has something for everything and tastes per dishes are unique, unlike most other restaurants. Definately value for money. Their 'Take Away' service is also recommended. There is cheap parking across the road in shopping car park/pub.

Wonderful place. Very homely, welcoming team and delicious food. Starters - £7.30 Ajwani Fish Tikka. Delicious, flaky fish. Great portion.... £6.80 Chilli Chicken. Delicious and good size portion.... £2.40 Pomegranate Raita. Superb accompaniment to both starters and mains. Main - £8.90 Saag Gost. Tender lamb and plenty of sauce....£2.90 Pilau Rice. Expensive for the portion size.....£2.80 Chutney Garlic Naan. Very delicious and light. Finished with Masala Chai. £1.50. Overall excellent quality reflected in prices. Starters great for sharing but definitely get three curries between two people for main; and one side per person. Looking forward to coming back and trying more.

First time visiting the Cafe and we will definitely be going back; the food was so delicious and authentic. We had the chilli chicken and dumplings followed by Chicken Ruby and Lamb Curry - so flavoursome. The waitress was really friendly. The vibe was exactly that of a little cafe, very homely - cute little mismatched plates for the starters. Wish I took more photos but the food smelt too good I dived right in. We had a great evening thank you!

Absolutely Incredible Food! My wife and I went last night and we both agreed without hesitation this is some of the absolute best food we have experienced. Note I say experienced, as it was just that. With so many different and exciting textures and flavours going on in each dish. We love our food and can quite often say that a certain dish or food tastes like x, y or z and can explain to others how something tastes that way. This chef and style of food is not something that we can easily compare to. If you like your food then go and pay a visit. A warm welcome and great service. Fantastic value for money. Don't forget to ring the bell on the way out 🥳😁

Nice little family run restaurant. Not the best Italian I've ever been to but not bad. Prices are very reasonable. Would definitely return for a local affordable date night.

A huge thank you to everyone at Benvenuto for making my dad's 80th birthday party extra special. I really appreciate the hard work that went into preparing everything beforehand and especially on the day in feeding 33 hungry guests 😁 EVERYONE loved the food and had a great time. The service was fantastic. Highly recommended and most definitely one of the best restaurants in Tameside. The food and service is exceptional. Always. We came for a much-needed Date Night and had a spectacularly good meal. Jasmine was attentive and looked after my wife's capsaicin allergy with care and consideration. The food was faultless, everything from start to finish was incredible, even the basic elements had little flourishes that elevated them. Special mention to the red cabbage side, the festive bone marrow, and the Pannetone dessert We will be back soon!

3rd time coming to Miller and Carter in Ashton and never had a bad experience here! Thank you Jasmine for your service, you’ve been our server on 2 of our visits and both times very good! And thank you for picking my surprise desert! Absolutely delicious every time! Tried the Sunday dinner sharing plate this time and it was definitely on the list of top meals I’ve had.

Great visit! We were given a warm welcome on arrival. Seated quickly. All staff were friendly, efficient, hard working and super helpful. Our meal was gorgeous and served fresh, well presented and very tasty! Out waitress Estela is wonderful. She has waited on me several times. Every visit, her customer service, work ethic and friendliness is consistently of a very high standard. She works so hard to create a wonderful guest experience.

Myself and my mother stopped off for a spot of lunch. The food was amazing as always and our server, Estela, was a delight. She was so attentive, welcoming and helpful. We have seen her here before and she is always such a friendly and lovely member of staff.

A visit to the Indian Plaza last night, i don't know why we don't go more often as its only on the other side of canal to us! We ordered from the "Hot Spot" section of the menu, a chicken tikka Sambar and a chicken tikka Chilli Massala with Mushroom rice, chips and Keema Naan (obviously we had the obligatory Poppadums before hand!) Cannot fault the service, they had quite a few members of staff on hand and they popped by at the frequency of the Von Trap children singing 'so-long-farewell' to check if everything was ok The food was extremely nice, even though it was off the hot section of the menu it didn't overpower any of the flavours of either tikka or the sauce, just enough heat to let you know it was there! A unexpected star of the meal was the Keema Naan, rice is rice and chips are chips, but the Keema naan was really very good. Also a shout out to the Hanging Gate pub where we had a few cheeky drinks prior to the Indian plaza, again a pub i haven't been in for an age, nice place with good prices as a local should be If i was to nit pick (as most of us do nowadays) i would have liked to been able to peruse a current menu online via a website or other social media but that takes nothing away from a faultless meal and service

A great local Italian restaurant, all the staff are excellent, very friendly and give great service. Have a good menu. choice of dishes is great and the food very tasty. Highly recommend if your in the area, but be sure to book, as gets very busy!

I have been tonight for the first time with a friend Jack who I’ve known and worked with for 40 years, Not shy , At my opinion of good food . after saying my late husband was a master butcher. Obviously used to go food. I can honestly say , Atmosphere the service and the food was top quality, From entering the restaurant to leaving the restaurant, we were made very welcome. I had fillet steak which I’ve had many at times over the last 50 years 100% good quality and a fantastic price . For more thangood quality . Definitely return and definitely recommend Star Rating, For atmosphere , Food, Quantity, Service, And more important price. 10/10 Thank you, Paris and staff Hope to see you again.

Can’t recommend it enough.Fantastic food best I’ve tasted in a long time.We had a party of 15 and we’re all served together no one was left waiting and food was served piping hot. Staff were friendly and welcoming ,also no rush after we had finished to leave. Definitely go again and recommend to friends.

Been looking for a decent Caribbean since the unfortunate passing of The Rolling Chef and to be honest I have struggled. I heard a lot of good things about this place and thought I'd give it a try. Luckily I have found a great Caribbean Restaurant in Tortuga which is by far the best around north east Manchester. I've only tried the Curry Goat but the flavours were great and the portion size for the money was fantastic. I often wonder why a lot of these restaurants do not serve Jollof Rice as an alternative to Rice and Peas but I can say with confidence this place serves the best Rice and Peas that I've ever eaten. Although the photos may look dry, the sauce was underneath the rice so it wasn't dry at all. The amount of tasty delicious goat was overly generous and I certainly will be a returning customer.

First time visiting, was a Friday afternoon and it was not very busy so the cocktails kept on coming. Food was amazing and very tasty and Mo who was looking after us was brilliant. Can’t wait to return

Took my nan here for her 75th birthday at her request because she wanted to try tapas for the first time. Now, my nana is a very good cook and therefore she is hard to please. Nan loved this place! Great customer service, beautiful food and nan even got a free drink with a compliment. Made her night and ours! Thanks guys!

Lovely staff and great service. Some dishes were really good (breads, olives and dips, sardines) and others were OK (sticky rice wasn't that sticky or flavoursome). Friend liked the sangria a lot! Tuesday special offer is a bargain!

Called in while driving past. I have visited many times over the years and have not been disappointed with the food. Plenty of choice of meat and vegetables. They often have a choice of pie as well. I can't comment on the other menu just the carvery. I always enjoy the food when I visit and would recommend it to anyone wanting a carvery.

The food was delicious and the staff were helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend going to The Pearl restaurant . A great stop if you are on a canal boat.

This restaurant is fantastic the food is so nice 10 out of 10 friendly staff too plus a bonus because I live right over the road from it 2 mins away I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone

Me and my family had a fantastic time at this pub yesterday. Dion the Landlady was absolutely wonderful especially with our three children, she let our son put fresh logs on the fireplace and was happy to get him another sausage with his meal free of charge. The food was all home cooked and everything was delicious, the pie of the day was the best pie I have ever had. We had a few games of pool in the pool room too and thought it was great that it's separate from the rest of the pub. We all left feeling like we'd been to an aunties house for dinner rather than a pub. Unfortunately we're not local but if we were we'd be back every weekend!

We've recently started going in this pub after learning they had new management. We booked our baby shower here to celebrate my grandsons imminent arrival. The landlady Kate and her team are amazing. They go beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Everything went to plan. We've eaten breakfast and really enjoyed the food. Very tasty 😋 We recently had the Caribbean style fish and chips. Very different and very tasty. Patrick the chef is so lovely. He has many years experience and was so good to see him out of the kitchen engaging with the customers. The atmosphere in the pub is really nice. The regulars are great and friendly.
