Our children have had Frank for Maths tuition for a number of years, and more recently the Sciences also. He made lessons fun & gave them confidence. Very approachable and flexible tutors with whom our daughters studied mainly maths during Years 10 and 11. They always listened to the girls' maths/science anxieties and gave them confidence. Their approach is to teach methods and offer exam practice so our daughters had lots of different types of help. Always happy to go over mock papers they had done in class. They really did make a difference to their grades.

Leesa tutored my daughter through statistics and maths GCSE. Despite having to get up early on a Saturday morning, my daughter very much enjoyed working with Leesa, who helped to improve her confidence and ability, supporting her to pass both subjects. Now keen to signing up child number 2!

A really thorough quiz which considers a variety of science terms and processes as part of the multiple choice, encouraging further learning or checking when the answers are revealed at the end of the test. Accessible, friendly and enjoyable. Just enough questions around the specific topics, enough to not become overbearing or confusing. Although I think that for GCSE, it may need to be a bit more challenging. Maybe there could be challenging levels to select and pass as part of the quizzing. Thank you.

Tutor World really help my child, I tried others for lessons for the 11+ for my son. I was told he won’t pass as he lacks focus, but when I went to tutor world for an assessment, Ruvini was very helpful and told me with little effort my son could do well at the exam, am so happy I listen to her advice, as I almost gave up. Being attending for awhile for both learning math and japanese and defently must recommend as both Nicola and Alix teaching has been outstanding im learning a whole new language that i thought would be impossible to learn but over time its becoming easier to learn, with maths ive finally got a variety of skills that now im able to understand how different methords can help understanding algibra which is not my best subject. Both my son and I were made to feel welcome on day 1. He went for the week long tutoring before the Kent test the week before the test itself. My son said he had a great time by the time Friday came and it didn’t feel like a school session at all they played games and had fun all through the week. Mary is an excellent tutor and I thoroughly recommend her.  My daughter has made wonderful progress since she started having lessons with her. Her own daughter was home educated and is currently studying at Cambridge University which highlights the standard of her teaching. Mary also has experience working with students who are dyslexic with great results.  I would not hesitate in choosing her to tutor my child.

My children are really enjoying their classes with Mary. They find her explanations clear & easy to follow. They love the notes she takes during the class. This helps them concentrate during the lesson and go back over things afterwards when they need to apply what they have learnt. Mary has a great balance of being warm and friendly yet firm enough that the children listen and know they are to take their studies seriously if they want to progress and achieve. Mary really knows her subject so well and we feel very blessed for our children to be learning from such a great teacher.

I cannot recommend Mary highly enough. We originally asked her to help our son with English Language because we were concerned that his grades were continually falling over time. However, her tuition also helped improve his English Literature work in the process, and they ended up being his two highest GCSE grades. Mary was friendly and professional throughout and we could see a noticeable improvement in our son’s ability and confidence in the subject from the start.

Richard has been a fantastic tutor for my Daughter, who is shy, nervous and was very reluctant to go to a tutor! Richard was amazing at putting her at ease from the off, creating a positive learning environment, tailoring to her needs and making it fun. She originally saw him to give her confidence in her maths and English and then progressed to 11+ learning and she came on leaps and bounds. She looked forward to going every week! I wish he had been tutoring when my Son was doing his 11+ as we tried all the usual tutors in Ashford (large group sessions, using computers, 1:1) and none were as good. My son finds school a little tricky but having a quieter, encouraging environment at RP Tutoring he really is improving. Richard provides regular and helpful feedback on my sons progress and focuses on areas he finds more difficult rather than all of the curriculum. This really is beneficial as it does not waste time on areas he is strong at.

Richard was great to speak too, gave brilliant feedback, and just helped my daughter take that extra step. He gave her confidence, and his message to her just resonated with her brilliantly. Whilst we didn't have regular tutoring, we gained valuable insight from the 11+ mocks and then a couple of 2 hrs intensive sessions the week before the Kent test.
