I needed an EICR certificate for my house as just about to rent it out and didn’t know this was the law/regs now until agent said. I used Check-a-Trader and these got back to me promptly with a quote and dates/times available. I came and checked out their reviews and had others coming back to me but these were really competitive and reviews were great. I wasn’t disappointed. 3 engineers turned up on time and were all courteous, smart, took their shoes off! Plus they were professional and helped to repair a fault on a socket while testing the whole house wiring. Took them a good while and they were really thorough. I expected to receive an invoice way over the quote but within 2 days I had the comprehensive certificate and the invoice as quoted. Very impressed so don’t be wary, these guys stick to their promises and do a great job. I’ll only put up a review if really bad or exceptional. These were exceptional and so has their customer service in the office and response times. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

What a great company. Prompt and very professional service. Explained all aspects of work thoroughly. The lads were very polite and courteous and nothing was too much trouble. Chris gave us a helpful and friendly service. He did quite a lot of remedial work in our old cottage and never took short cuts. He was also happy to do small extras when asked. All in all, excellent workmanship and we are very pleased with the result. Highly recommended!

Paul the Director of Scott Electrical was one of 3 approved installers recommended by EO. When i rang and spoke to Paul he came across very well and i was confident to give him my job to install the car charger. The date was confirmed and Paul himself and one of his colleagues arrived on time. They completed the installation without any issues and their work was of a very high order . Furthermore Paul took the time to explain thoroughly the workings of the EO app which is required for use with the charger. I would certainly recommend Paul /Scott Electrical to my friends and colleagues for any future electrical work.

Tony responded quickly to my request for a quote for work to be completed at my Son's flat. The work was completed on time and professionally. The team are friendly and prices are very reasonable. We needed the final bit of the work done quickly before a tenant was due to move in and Tony really helped us out to meet a quick turn round. Kept us updated all the way. What a great experience. I called in a panic as my electric had gone off. We talked through on the phone and discovered the issue lay with Northern power grid. They provided the emergency number and even checked in later that day to check if all was resolved. I cannot recommend the service enough and have seabed the number for future projects that need doing in my house. Thank you!

I am 70 years old and had an emergency with a bedroom light fitting. I contacted JLW Electrical Contractors Ltd. I explained the problem i had.The man i spoke to said " Its not the kind of work we do but because you live nearby and its an emergency, i will send 2 men in a van who are finishing there shift to help you".The van turned up in minutes,and the 2 men soon sorted out my problem. I asked them what i owed them,but they insisted it was o.k and would not take any money off me. I cannot thank this firm,and the 2 men enough. This firm is fantastic,and deserves to do well.What a great bunch of guys. Brian.
