Daniel and the Big Green Electrical Company have been outstanding. When I was planning and building my new house I really wanted to work with a solar provider that would work with me to understand my wider electrical requirements and design a solar system to match. Working with Daniel he designed a system to utilise the maximum amount of roof space on the house with 25 solar panels using an in roof GSE tray system for a neat look. This also saved money on roof tiles! It uses a Solaredge 8 KW 3 phase hybrid inverter with DC coupled battery storage and a home backup system that keeps the house running even in a grid loss. The system is making ample solar and has already generated over £800 (2.2 MW) in 2 months which has take a massive bite out of the electrical cost of running a large new build property complete with heat pumps, car chargers, batter Nothing has been too much trouble and he has helped with advice and guidance around other electrical elements of the house, working closely with the main contractor and electricians to ensure everything worked well together. Following the completion of the install he has been diligent with all the certificates, paperwork, handover pack and also helped deal with the DNO when they have been less than helpful. In this busy market where you want a competent, trusted, diligent and friendly provider who will design and install a system that works for your needs and not leave you in the lurch then Daniel and the Big Green Electrical Company are where you want to go.

When my kitchen light died I was in dire need of an electrician. Fortunately Dan was recommended to me by a neighbour who explained that whilst he had not had occasion to use his services he had been highly recommended. On contacting Dan I quickly found out that the recommendation was very accurate. He dealt with my problem in a timely manner ( I was fortunate to have same day service) supplying and fitting a new fixture that afternoon. I cannot speak more highly of the service I received or of Dan himself as he was clearly a very conscientious person. I thoroughly recommend him to anybody reading this review

I recently referred Dan Evans of Big Green Electrical to a key contact. Dan was brought in to install some spotlights in the hallway of a flat. It was not a straightforward job as access above the ceiling was severely restricted. In particular, a large water tank sat directly above a key area of the ceiling that needed spotlights. Dan arrived on time, presented professionally. He took time to listen carefully to the customer’s requirements and made some key recommendations based on his experience to ensure that the finished result was optimum. Once the brief was agreed, Dan worked efficiently and tirelessly without stopping for even a five minute break to get the job done. He completed the job ahead of time and ensured that the customer was satisfied that she had got the ‘wow’ factor in her hallway, which she had – it looked fantastic.

I would thoroughly recommend this company. Regan did a great job carrying out the repairs in my flat - you can tell he takes great pride in his work. He priced the job very competitively and I would definitely use ABE Electrical again.

I called ABE Electrical Ltd on Saturday morning to replace a faulty socket for our freezer & tumble drier. I have been let down or not had calls returned by so many tradesmen over recent years, it’s like they just can’t be bothered with smaller jobs even though they still charge loads. This morning I realised my 30amp fuse was tripping meaning no dishwasher or washing machine and power to outbuilding. I found this company and called, Sam was with me within an hour, not only did he solve that issue, he also fixed a kitchen socket after running several tests and a bedroom light, he is truly professional and knowledgeable and also really polite and easy going. I will definitely be using him going forward and can’t recommend him enough, today could have been a nightmare but ended up being very successful and stress free, thank you very much Sam.

Having just downsized I was anxious for an electrician to complete several tasks at my new home. I phoned 10 from various advertised sites and only 2 answered my call; one could start in 2 months time whilst the only other one actually arrived 2 days later. He (Max) was very efficient, knowledgeable & friendly. The jobs were finished later that day with a final invoice that was most reasonable. I would use them again without hesitation.

Their customer service was exemplary and I truly appreciated their patience of explaining and talking through all the issues with me as a layman and little experience of electrics. Emma responded promptly to initial request. Max replaced broken light switch, set up two new carbon monoxide alarms, and replaced three out-of-date smoke alarms, all in one visit. As an oldie on my own, I now feel safer! Nice people, treat you as a valued client. Highly recommend.

Lime Electrical (Greg) installed an airconditioning system for a rental flat. The team were very clean and tidy, responded promptly to queries, and came when they said they would. The work was carried out to a high standard, and advice given was appropriate. The tenants are thrilled with the energy efficiency of the installation especially for the heating, so everyone is very happy. I would use Lime Electrical again.
