We first encountered Ian some little while back when an oak outer door was jamming. A familiar and fixable problem caused by the elements?. Perhaps: save that, in this instance, Ian's diagnosis was that the underlying issue was the very manner in which the door had been constructed. In next to no time, he'd solved the issue and the door has never given us another minute's trouble. Such that when a similar jamming issue (to do with building settlement) arose recently in relation to a couple of interior doors, we regarded Ian as the go-to carpenter. As before, the work was carried out expertly, promptly and at very fair rates. For good measure, he assembled an item of flat-pack garden furniture which had arrived with damaged but, in the right hands, fixable parts. Ian built us some custom wardrobes for our Daughters bedroom and build us a lovely banister made of Glass and wood. He was very professional and tidy and we have already recommended him to more friends and family. Thank you Ian.
