Had an emergency stop three weeks ago. Car was overheating and I drove it off the road and into the small cul-de-sac. As luck would have it, Adam, who I have never met before, was enjoying his Saturday afternoon with the family nearby. Man said “it’s your lucky day,” and he did not lie. He took the trouble of looking into it, diagnosed within minutes, advised what the issue was, I left him the keys then and there and he drove the car to “Fares and Repairs” Monday morning himself and took care of everything within a day. He was beyond professional, knowledgeable, and honest.

What a refreshing change today after an absolutely awful experience with a BMW dealership last year. My experience with a local BMW dealership last year was so bad I seriously considered changing my BMW for a different brand so I didn't have to return there! After some research I found Adam and his team locally and the reviews looked promising. They definitely weren't wrong! From first contact, Adam has been friendly, helpful, honest and professional. When booking my car in for service he was totally up front with what would and wouldn't need doing with no pressurised 'up selling' of the dealership along with an accurate estimate of the cost. I dropped my car in as arranged with no issues and Adam kept my informed of progress throughout the day. It was completed in good time. Upon collection, I paid the bill, which was substantially lower than the same would have cost at the BMW dealer, and collected my car. No fuss and none of the drawn out farce of taking nearly an hour to collect my car last year at the dealership. The work looks to be done to a high standard and the on board service history is all up to date. Chatting to Adam you soon realise he is passionate about cars and about giving great customer service. Adam and the team has definitely restored my faith that I'll be able to continue enjoying my car for many years to come. If you love your car, these are the fellas to bring it to. *updated July 2023* Took my BMW back to Fares and Repairs for a couple of jobs and the MOT. When returning to collect my car Adam explained the mileage hadn't warranted the jobs being carried out and to return it when I had covered the extra mileage. What a massive change from the BMW dealership previously used! They would have undoubtedly carried out the work AND probably found additional work as well. I really cannot praise Adam and Mark enough. As I've previously stated, if you care about your car, this is the place for you. Thank you fellas!

I would highly recommend this garage. Adam took the time to diagnose the problem with my gearbox without needing to fully recondition it. BMW dealership only offered a complete replacement and were so unhelpful. I really appreciate his team's help collecting my car and fixing it at a reasonable cost. I will definitely take my BMW back for service and any problems in future. A joy to find such excellent customer service and knowledge. Thank you.

Awesome summer prep for a large 5L V10 engine! Adam and Mark overhauled all of the many radiators ahead of summer to ensure no overheating issues. The main radiator was filthy which is to be expected. I don’t know why radiator cleaning is not a standard service item?? Also noticed thermostat was stuck open so was replaced and the coolant sensor had broken. Finished off with an engine bay clean, the S85 looks awesome. Thanks as always guys 👍🏼

I had an issue with my fobs not working on my BMW which was diagnosed very quickly. They gave me a detailed account over the phone and I was very grateful for their advice. Their prices were reasonable and I left very happy with the efficient and courteous service I had received. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.
