Carly did wedding hair and make up for me, my Maid of Honour, and my mum at Shottle Hall in April 2024. Everything was perfect, she helped make the morning getting ready super relaxed and calm. Hair and make up stayed in place all day, and even long into the night when the dancing was in full flow. We looked flawless and I felt totally at ease with Carly. I would 100% recommend Carly to future brides. The whole process was so smooth, from the first discussions via email, to the bridal trial, to the final moments before walking down the aisle.

First visit today. My hair was transformed from a bushy mess to a chic short cut. Thank you so much.

Carly & Anna came to The Forest Lodge Hotel at 6.45am on Thursday 1st September 2022 to do make-up and hair for the bride (my daughter), myself and 7 bridesmaids. Carly & Anna did an amazing job and worked so hard on us all and the make-up and hair was perfect! By 8pm that evening our make-up and hair still looked so fresh. I want to thank you Carly & Anna for being such perfectionists and helping us make Belle’a wedding day a huge success. We had a good laugh too in that hotel room and goodness knows how 11 of us fitted in the room but it was a very calm and happy atmosphere. Had my hair done by Izzy and had an absolutely wonderful experience at this salon. I’m disabled so I struggle with certain things but everyone here was more than happy to accommodate and even prompted me when I was too shy to ask for something. My hair came out absolutely beautiful but did fade rather fast, I contacted Izzy and she was more than happy to sort out my hair, she did this free of charge and now I have the hair of my dreams and I feel so much more confident. My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with the fantastic service at Katie Weeds- particularly as our little boy has always been extremely frightened of having his hair cut. We decided to take a chance a few months ago, and brought him to Katie Weeds instead of the children's barbers he went to before; and each time he has become braver and braver. We would especially like to thank Emily. Since Angus has been seeing her for his haircuts, he has come on leaps and bounds. Rather than being frightened of going in, he's now spending the day before telling me he's going to see his friend Emily to have his hair done. She has been so kind and understanding of his nervousness. She always makes sure to shield his neck to prevent itchy hairs from making him uncomfortable- which was always a big part of his dislike- She joins in his chatter about numbers and timetables, and she knows the way to his heart is through bribery with Loveheart sweets! Thankyou Katie Weeds for being an excellent place, and thankyou Emily for making Angus' life just that little bit less scary :) x

It was my second visit to the salon but my first visit for a colour. After 18 months of boxed home kits, my hair was a little yellow. Tricia had some great ideas for my colour and the result is excellent. The best colour I've had in a long time. As far as feeling safe there due to covid, the salon is spotlessly clean and there is plenty of space between clients. I'll definitely be back when the roots are showing!

Amazing service, had my hair done multiple times now, everyone is so friendly and all the staff help each other and give advice to ensure you are happy with your decision. Always explain everything if I am not too sure on how to have my hair. Always come out feeling amazing and loving my hair

Had my hair done yesterday. The stylist Sandra (who is also the owner) suggested putting 2 different colours in foils to give it a natural look. Followed by a special product when she washed it (I forget the name) which made it look amazing. She then dried and curled it. It looked so natural and shiny. I was welcomed and looked after from start to finish. Very professional set up and knowledgeable staff.I had a lovely relaxing time and walked out of the salon feeling great. Can't wait to return.
