Lydia and Holly are just amazing. I’d not been to the hairdressers for 14 months due to health problems. Was really anxious going back today, but I didn’t need to be. They made the environment so relaxed, calm and I felt so at peace being pampered. It’s always nice being greeted by Leroy too 🐶 even though it had been a while since I had last seen Lydia, she still remembered about my life, the pets I have etc. A true professional and so talented. Thank you so much ladies.

Lis is the best Nail Tech I have ever been to! Had my 3rd appointment today and have loved every set! I was astounded that her gels have lasted me around 5 weeks with only a tiny chip towards the 5th week and no lifting. Her designs are so pretty and she is super creative and lovely company 😊

I've just started going to Leopard + Chrome and have had 2 brilliant nail sets so far. Lis is super knowledgeable and has great ideas on colour choices & nail art designs. My nails have been quite weak, but Lis is focused on nail health and getting stronger nails. My 1st set lasted longer than I thought they would, far exceeding expectations. Lis is great & makes the experience enjoyable and fun, plus gives you loads of nail care advice. If you want a great experience and long lasting healthy nails then Leopard + Chrome is the place for you.

I’ve had two sets of gel nails with Liz, and both have been fab. She is really thorough and takes time to ensure all the details are perfect. The nail’s themselves are beautiful (the photos speak for themselves) and the incredibly detailed star design lasted for a month with no problems at all. I would really recommend 😊

I can genuinely recommend The Haven Salon... Prior to my first visit, I was lucky if I had my hair attended to on a yearly basis (I know), but thanks to Fiona's talents and helpfulness I'm now a regular Salon visitor! A very friendly, professional environment and always a friendly chat to be had!

Just moved to the area so was nervous about finding, and placing my trust in a new hairdresser.....I need not have worried!! Fiona took the time to listen and understand what I wanted in terms of both cut and colour. She absolutely delivered on both counts. Plus, she is a very warm, welcoming person, who made me feel at ease from the minute I stepped into the salon. Fantastic!! Highly recommended.

I have a mad head of hair, curly and a little unkempt when it gets long. Not many places can do a decent job of it. The Haven fitted me in at short notice, because I had a date I wanted to look good for. Fi did an amazing job, real eye for detail and clearly cares that the cut was good and I was leaving feeling confident. Really recommend it, dead homely and seemingly is trying to use natural and sustainable products which is always good.

Recently started using Fiona and have followed her into this new venture! I went to the new salon once prior to lockdown, and all appropriate safety measures were in place. I have very wacky hair colours and Fiona is never afraid to attempt what suggestion I have next! Even though it’s a time consuming process she always remains so calm, and her time management is amazing! I would not have the patience to do it myself! Amazing quality, amazing prices! I have been using Jess for a few years , I highly recommend her. Jess goes above and beyond. Everytime I go I feel like I'm having a treat, when I have my hair washed it's like a mini head massage, which is fantastic. The salon is very modern, clean and everyone is very friendly and welcoming . Sometimes I can't decide what I want doing with my hair , Jess talks through different ideas, colours and cuts which would suit my face structure, fashion trends etc . I travel from Yorkshire, 1.30hr drive since moving up north as I don't trust anyone else! Well worth the long drive . Thank you Jess

Beautiful salon with calming decor. Got my hair cut here by the lovely Jodie. She is so accommodating, understanding and did a beautiful job of my hair, just what I wanted!🥰 I had a nice cup of peppermint tea too! Excellent service A*! I am glad I have found sugaring locally, it is the best method of hair removal in my opinion. I have sensitive skin so shaving is not really option for me. Sugaring makes my skin nice and soft (and hairless). Charlotte is so lovely and so skilled in the art of sugaring, I was made really comfortable and at ease. Charlotte was swift so the whole process was completed sooner than I thought, I would even say I found the process relaxing. And the results are fantastic! The treatment room is warm and inviting environment to have sugaring done at. I will be back and I recommend anyone who is looking for hair removal to visit Beauty Barn for sugaring.

Verve is a fantastic salon in Matlock. I have been getting my hair cut and coloured by Sam for 10 years and am always super happy after every visit! His colour is particularly amazing and he is also really lovely and fun to have a chat with.

The ladies at Bloom Beauty got me booked in at a time to suit me and made the process easy. The salon is a small but cosy space that was warm and inviting when I arrived. A lovely environment ran by two lovely ladies. I will absolutely be visiting again and telling my friends!
