What a lovely experience. Reception staff polite and asked if I wanted a drink. Salon had a calm relaxing feel. Tamiera was wonderful, did exactly as I wanted. Hair looks amazing. Just what I needed. Was wanting a new hairdresser after a move to the area, there has been a few hiccups along the way so I am happy to have found a new hairstylist that I can now trust. See you all very soon.

I followed Connor from his previous hair salon and he has always done a brilliant job on my hair. I wanted to go back my light blonde in the healthiest way possible and I couldn't be happier with my results. He has always understood what I wanted and makes you feel extremely welcome from the moment you step into the salon, from every consultation and appointment. The building is beautiful and all the staff are incredibly welcoming, you can see real care has been made into the designing. I would 100% recommend this salon to anyone. I have recently brought friends and family to my appointments to get services from here and they have all come out really pleased!!

Honestly brilliant service, Sam really knows what she is doing. I paid a huge amount more at a competitors and my lashes just fell off. She spends so much time and effort getting it right every time. She is very booked up so you will need an appointment WELL in advance. She is however worth the wait. Excellent! I have trusted her with my lashes now for around 3-4 months. Next is electrolysis so I will post again when I have seen results. It will be well in the future as it can take 1.5 yes to get rid of.

Verve is a fantastic salon in Matlock. I have been getting my hair cut and coloured by Sam for 10 years and am always super happy after every visit! His colour is particularly amazing and he is also really lovely and fun to have a chat with.

I’ve been going to embellish for a couple of years and love the place. The staff are so friendly. My stylist Sarah is the best stylist I’ve ever had. She is attentive and caring. She listens to how you want and like your hair. She offers good advice about your hair. She is absolutely brilliant. I always love my hair and get exactly what we have discussed and decided on. What a very talented hairdresser she is. I would recommend her to everyone. I’ve sent friends to her and they all feel just like I do. The salon has been newly refurbished and looks absolutely beautiful. All the staff are friendly and attentive. I am offered a drink several times during my visit and Sarah always tells the person making it how I like it so I get a perfect cup of coffee. These little things are important. I always get a wonderful head massage off Sarah as part of my hair wash because she knows how much I love it. If I only want a very slight trim then that is what I get. No taking up to an inch off like other stylists have in the past. Sarah always listens to what is important to me and wants very much to make sure I’m happy with what she has done. Her customers are important to her and she wants them to leave the salon feeling amazing. She takes pride in what she does and always gives her very best to make sure her clients are happy. I highly recommend embellish and definitely recommend Sarah to everyone. A very talented knowledgeable and experienced stylist indeed. I’ve been going to Sarah for many years. I followed her from a previous salon to embellish because such good hairdressers are hard to come by. I love the salon she is at now. The salon I has recently undergone a renovation and looks lovely. The seats are so comfortable to sit in while you are having your hair done. It’s a friendly salon with a professional and comfortable atmosphere. Sarah is so good at her job. I’m fussy about how I have my hair done but Sarah always pays attention to what I want and does it just right. She is a credit to the salon. She is a lovely young lady with a caring nature. Gracie is amazing and has worked magic on my hair . Always wanted low lights but afraid it would be half way hell . O no definitely not in Gracie’s magical hands 🤩 so glad I found this beautiful warm amazing creative team . Can’t recommend them enough .

As a visitor to the UK I had been struggling to find somewhere to get my hair cut and coloured. But from the moment I walked into the salon Ashley and the staff made me so welcome and they were determined to fit me in somewhere during my stay in the area. Megan has done a wonderful colour and cut that even my husband commented!! Ashley also called me back as a cancellation came in so I could also get my brows done. She made me feel comfortable and valued from the moment I arrived. She helped me decide what to do with my hair as I didn't have a clue and I was so pleased with the result I cant wait to go back.

Nina is such a lovely, warm friendly person, I went to see her as I couldn't do anything with my hair,it was long,thick and a struggle to look after. Nina layered my hair to give it structure and body. I also had it coloured to show through at the bottom.So many lovely comments from people saying they love my new hair style.

I can genuinely recommend The Haven Salon... Prior to my first visit, I was lucky if I had my hair attended to on a yearly basis (I know), but thanks to Fiona's talents and helpfulness I'm now a regular Salon visitor! A very friendly, professional environment and always a friendly chat to be had!

Just moved to the area so was nervous about finding, and placing my trust in a new hairdresser.....I need not have worried!! Fiona took the time to listen and understand what I wanted in terms of both cut and colour. She absolutely delivered on both counts. I have very wacky hair colours and Fiona is never afraid to attempt what suggestion I have next! Even though it’s a time consuming process she always remains so calm, and her time management is amazing! I would not have the patience to do it myself! Amazing quality, amazing prices!
