Great salon atmosphere from the minute you walk in your greated with friendly smiles! Selection of both cold & hot drinks always offered and biscuits! I have my hair done with the lovely Shannon and love it everytime! There is currently three stylist, two nails tech who specialise in BIAB and a beautician who is fully trained in lashes, brows, facials and massages! One of the nail techs Harriet is also a talented make up artist! Booking a appointment here is a must!

Cannot recommend this place enough! The shop is clean and well run, with such a friendly atmosphere. I've had my nails done by Tayma, Chloe and Abi - all of them are fab, but I have to give a massive shout out to Abi, whose BIAB gels always last me at least 4 weeks without chipping or lifting! Her nail art is incredible too! Claire on the front desk is such a pleasure to deal with when booking and in the salon. I always look forward to my appointments with these lovely ladies - great service from genuinely lovely people.

The prefect place to go to relax. So elegantly decorated inside, the tanning rooms, are exceptional. Really makes you feel you are on holiday. A must to try out. My little retreat 💙💛 Staff truly amazing xxx

This salon is one of the best I’ve been to, and I’ve been to many! I had an amazing experience at Marina Salon by FKZ. I got a blowout with Ash, and he was really good, he truly listened to what I wanted, and my hair turned out perfect! I also had my nails done with Ruth, and she was so professional. I really enjoyed our chats, it made the whole experience even better. The salon has such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone!

I booked in for a last minute appointment with Cheri and went for a cat eye BIAB. Cheri was lovely and attentive, and did an amazing job! She checked in with me throughout the appointment to make sure I was happy with everything including shape, length and colour. I’ll definitely be back.

I had BIAB with a French finish done by Parita and Dhaval at this salon, and I can’t thank this lovely couple enough for their professionalism and excellent service. Today was my third back massage with Laura, and I have to say she is amazing! I have had numerous massages in the past but have come away feeling no benefit or really uncomfortable. I really struggle with my lower back but most therapists have concentrated on my upper back even though I have told them my problem area. I'm so glad to have found Laura, she takes note of what I say and adapts her massage to my individual needs rather than a general routine. For the first time, I am now re-booking regular appointments due to feeling like it's beneficial and worth while to me. (Plus she is so lovely!) I would 100% recommend.

Just wanted to add to my review, the online shop is a fantastic new addition to The Little Retreat. Just used one of the hand masks, love how when you take it off, it reveals a hand cream has formed, for you to rub in. It's left my hands feeling really nourished & soft, a lovely treat after a hard week! Can't wait for them to re open! I have being going to The Retreat for a number of years now and have always been really happy with the service Tarnia & Cara are very professional in their work & are very friendly people. Tarnia has been fantastic during lockdown posting daily beauty advice & tips on Facebook she has also been selling for a small fee & delivering nail removal kits. I would definitely recommend The Little Retreat to anyone who is looking for beauty treatments & can highly recommend manicures & pedicures.
