Very welcoming hair salon, Rachelle is great with colours and styling, wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been twice so far and each time Rachelle has done a fantastic job. It is a salon with a friendly and calm atmosphere so I always feel revitalised for the rest of the day on leaving. I highly recommend her services, I have had foils and a restyle and both times the resulting finish brought many compliments from my friends.

I had Jess do my hair and I absolutely loved it! She's so professional, so friendly and welcoming I can't wait to go back. I had a balayage for the first time, I wanted something more natural and lived in. Jess had a really thorough consultation with me and explained all the ins and outs which was so refreshing! Absolutely in love with my hair it's the best it's ever looked. Can't wait for my next appointment!

I was so excited when I heard Alma was opening in Matlock, I had to book in as soon as it did! The booking process was so easy, all done online & confirmation given at the end. Upon visiting Alma, I was seated at the plush sofas and given a form to fill in. Once I'd done this, I was seated at one of the nail counters. I had my nails done with bio gel by Louise. She was so lovely, really friendly and instantly made me feel comfortable. I opted for gold nails (a bit of sparkle for Christmas) and the treatment was lovely! I also had biogel toes so Louise asked me to take a seat by one of the foot spa basins. This was also lovely and I opted for navy blue which looked lush! I was also offered a drink which came with a gingerbread cookie. The salon itself is absolutely stunning - light and airy and very spa like! It's modern and classy and it's been renovated to an incredibly high standard! Prices at Alba are also super competitive! I'll definitely be visiting again and might have to book a massage soon! Thanks so much for such a lovely first visit to Alba, I'll be raving about you to all my friends and family! x

Never had a better experience at this salon, second time having a keratin treatment, my hair has been so smooth and manageable, i would never look back. Lovely family run salon, i felt so comfortable and part of the family. Couldnt recommend enough.

Highly recommend Sophie!!! My hair got a very terrible experience on other salon, I feel very sad and disappointed, until Sophie changed this situation. She was very friendly and always tell me I will try my best to make u look better!! Then she did excellent job and my hair look shiny 🥹 I would say Many thanks! I have very long hair and was quite nervous picking a hairdresser when I moved to Sheffield, but The Hair Salon has never failed to impress. The team are so friendly and always provide the best service. I have gone for years now and Sophie and Bobby have taken me through the full spectrum of colours from blonde to pink to copper and brunette. They have never failed to turn my sometimes badly box dyed birds nest of hair into something amazing by the end of my appointment. For such a good service the price is very reasonable, I would highly recommend!

I love going to Aurora Beauty studio, all the girls are friendly and excellent at what they do. I’ve had lashes, nails, microblading and waxing and never had a bad experience. The studio is gorgeous and has a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. Gemma and Becka are the loveliest people and will make you feel at ease with whatever treatment you choose, and I’ve got to mention Stanley, the resident Dachshund, take a treat and he’ll reward you with cuddles. I would totally recommend Aurora Beauty Studio.

You will struggle to find a lash tech who is as professional as Gemma! Availability is great and if there are any issues then they’re dealt with easily. The whole salon has a lovely atmosphere, everyone is approachable and you’ll leave feeling fabulous. Highly recommend!

Gem is just the best. I have just had had luxury derma-planing followed by a back neck and shoulder massage. She is just so professional, makes you feel so relaxed and is just so good at all her treatments. I Would definitely recommend her, came out feeling really pampered and relaxed. I have been coming to Gemma and the team since the salon opened over a year ago. All the girls are so lovely, friendly and professional. There is just a beautiful vibe in there and you feel so welcome. This is a great salon with friendly and professional staff members. Liv and Sam are always bubbly and welcoming. I had a color fix done by Sam and I was extremely pleased with the results. He listened to what I wanted and made great recommendations. The end result was even better than I had imagined. Overall, the atmosphere at the salon was great and the staff were all very friendly. I have had a lot of massages in my time and Leighanne has to be in my top 3 for knowledge and techniques. I went in with a lot of tension in neck, head and shoulders and just feeling my neck she she knew what she needed to do. Highly recommend if need a good relaxing massage as well as removal of tension

Thanks to Belinda for a magnificent Bespoke Body massage. It was a thoroughly relaxing and luxurious 60 minutes. The Botanicals products seemed very natural and soothing too. Botanicals is tucked down a side street in Bakewell, but make sure you don't miss out. It's best to book in advance.

Came across this salon whilst on holiday. Feeling I needed a good rejuvenating massage, after all the walking, I called in expecting a 'sorry we are fully booked' however, thanks to an ever professional and friendly Lisa, both Mum and I managed to get appointments. I would have to say it was the best full body massage I have ever had. Amazing! The salon is lovely, clean and calm and stocked with a host of quality products. It would definitely be my go to salon if I was local. Highly recommended. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

I had a 1hr 30min massage and facial and oh my god. I felt like I was being healed by Mother Nature herself! The most authentic and real, kind and caring staff. I had a massage by a REALLY talented woman called Jay. I left feeling transformed and so well looked after. Honestly felt reborn afterwards and loved the building, the setting, the atmosphere. I’ve been going to embellish for a couple of years and love the place. The staff are so friendly. My stylist Sarah is the best stylist I’ve ever had. She is attentive and caring. She listens to how you want and like your hair. She offers good advice about your hair. She is absolutely brilliant. I always love my hair and get exactly what we have discussed and decided on. What a very talented hairdresser she is. I would recommend her to everyone. I’ve sent friends to her and they all feel just like I do. The salon has been newly refurbished and looks absolutely beautiful. All the staff are friendly and attentive. I am offered a drink several times during my visit and Sarah always tells the person making it how I like it so I get a perfect cup of coffee. These little things are important. I always get a wonderful head massage off Sarah as part of my hair wash because she knows how much I love it. If I only want a very slight trim then that is what I get. No taking up to an inch off like other stylists have in the past. Sarah always listens to what is important to me and wants very much to make sure I’m happy with what she has done. Her customers are important to her and she wants them to leave the salon feeling amazing. She takes pride in what she does and always gives her very best to make sure her clients are happy. I highly recommend embellish and definitely recommend Sarah to everyone. A very talented knowledgeable and experienced stylist indeed. I’ve been going to Sarah for many years. I followed her from a previous salon to embellish because such good hairdressers are hard to come by. I love the salon she is at now. The salon I has recently undergone a renovation and looks lovely. The seats are so comfortable to sit in while you are having your hair done. It’s a friendly salon with a professional and comfortable atmosphere. Sarah is so good at her job. I’m fussy about how I have my hair done but Sarah always pays attention to what I want and does it just right. She is a credit to the salon. She is a lovely young lady with a caring nature.
