As a visitor to the UK I had been struggling to find somewhere to get my hair cut and coloured. But from the moment I walked into the salon Ashley and the staff made me so welcome and they were determined to fit me in somewhere during my stay in the area. Megan has done a wonderful colour and cut that even my husband commented!! Ashley also called me back as a cancellation came in so I could also get my brows done. You are all team amazing, all of you so friendly and helpful. Thank you so much, all of you. Would 110% recommend this salon.

What a team !!! Moved to Matlock a few months ago and needed a fabulous hairdressers . O wow was I lucky when I found Aspire !! Ashley is so welcoming. Gracie is amazing and has worked magic on my hair . Always wanted low lights but afraid it would be half way hell . O no definitely not in Gracie’s magical hands 🤩 so glad I found this beautiful warm amazing creative team . Can’t recommend them enough .

I had a wash and blow dry booked in with Chris - it was such a relaxing and positive atmosphere, Chris was so attentive and listened to my thoughts about styling my hair, as well as giving me suggestions and tips on how to style my hair in the future. Carly did wedding hair and make up for me, my Maid of Honour, and my mum at Shottle Hall in April 2024. Everything was perfect, she helped make the morning getting ready super relaxed and calm. Hair and make up stayed in place all day, and even long into the night when the dancing was in full flow. We looked flawless and I felt totally at ease with Carly. I would 100% recommend Carly to future brides. The whole process was so smooth, from the first discussions via email, to the bridal trial, to the final moments before walking down the aisle.

Carly & Anna came to The Forest Lodge Hotel at 6.45am on Thursday 1st September 2022 to do make-up and hair for the bride (my daughter), myself and 7 bridesmaids. Carly & Anna did an amazing job and worked so hard on us all and the make-up and hair was perfect! By 8pm that evening our make-up and hair still looked so fresh. I want to thank you Carly & Anna for being such perfectionists and helping us make Belle’a wedding day a huge success. We had a good laugh too in that hotel room and goodness knows how 11 of us fitted in the room but it was a very calm and happy atmosphere. I would highly recommend these 2 ladies to anyone whether they are getting married or otherwise. Aly Waller.

Verve is a fantastic salon in Matlock. I have been getting my hair cut and coloured by Sam for 10 years and am always super happy after every visit! His colour is particularly amazing and he is also really lovely and fun to have a chat with.

It was my second visit to the salon but my first visit for a colour. After 18 months of boxed home kits, my hair was a little yellow. Tricia had some great ideas for my colour and the result is excellent. The best colour I've had in a long time. As far as feeling safe there due to covid, the salon is spotlessly clean and there is plenty of space between clients. I'll definitely be back when the roots are showing!

Had my hair done yesterday. The stylist Sandra (who is also the owner) suggested putting 2 different colours in foils to give it a natural look. Followed by a special product when she washed it (I forget the name) which made it look amazing. She then dried and curled it. It looked so natural and shiny. I was welcomed and looked after from start to finish. Very professional set up and knowledgeable staff.I had a lovely relaxing time and walked out of the salon feeling great. Can't wait to return. Hayley was excellent, completely transformed my hair to the colour I wanted. Nice, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. She kept me informed of everything she was doing to my hair and gave me good advice for maintaining the colour. Would highly recommend the salon, and Hayley in particular.
