The staff at this salon are absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable and a high skill set. I saw The apprentice Maria. She was a beautiful young lady and was understanding and learning how to become a great hairdresser.

I love going to the salon. The folks are so lovely and I'm always super pleased with my hair after. I was given great advice today and the head massage left me relaxed and happy. Highly recommended!

My first visit to this salon today for a curly cut and colour with Elysia. What a gorgeous and incredibly friendly salon. Everyone was so lovely and clearly work together as an amazing team. Felt totally comfortable from start to finish. Elysia did an amazing job, advising on colour and gave lots of hair care tips, listening to my needs and taking care to achieve great results. I came to Emma after not being happy with previous results elsewhere and i will be going to her forever now. She REALLY listened to my concerns and came up with a way to tackle it without having to start all over again. She took her time, communicated throughout to make sure i was happy and only uses the best products. Highly recommend!

I have had my lips done for the last 4 years, with three different practitioners. All great but my last one was incredibly painful I thaught I had forgotten how painful it was (think stopping her putting more in and refusing the full treatment) so booked here to fix what I'd refused!.. Was so nervous but put at ease as soon as I mentioned how nervous I was.. And it didn't hurt! Ok never pain free but genuinely almost pain free... No adrenaline surge that I got last time as I hit top pain level.. Just happy to finish my treatment! I'm so happy house of beauty is now training others as I can't imagine going anywhere else and if others could be as amazing then we could all be a lot less nervous of the dreaded lip needle! .. So much so I have already re booked.. Thank you so so much ❤️ and those stress balls saved my palms! Xx

Had the most amazing experience, the studio was lovely and inviting. Emma was so thorough pre and post treatment and the best practitioner I have personally been to in terms of friendliness and quality of work, I had lip filler and it was pretty much completely painless and the outcome was the best lip filler I've ever had.

Had lip filler for the first time with Emma, I was apprehensive as I didn’t want them to look “done” just to plump out some fine lines from years of peace-pouting ✌🏽🤦🏽‍♀️. Emma was fantastic, really friendly and knowledgeable, she talked through my options and explained what she was doing and why at each stage. The treatment didn't hurt at all and the result is fantastic, exactly what I asked for! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her ☺️

Liv is very friendly and she listens to how I want my hair. After she has cut it, she always asks me to check. If I’m not 100% happy I feel comfortable that I can ask her to do a bit more eg cut it a bit shorter.

First visit to G&D's since moving to Swanwick and after reading the reviews I thought that they sounded like a good place to start. The reviews speak for themselves. Fantastic service, parking outside the door for 30 minutes which if there's no queue is plenty of time. I had no appointment so called the barbers, and they were happy to let me pop down straight away, its cash only which is worth knowing and for a gents wash and trim it was £10 so really decent value for money. Gino the barber is a great guy, very easy to tall to and understands what it is your after with your hair. All round 10/10.

Amazing, talented and on top of it all she is also so lovely. I genuinely didn't know there were people this kind and diligent before. Dawn did my hair for my engagement party and it was so beautiful, got so many compliments and I was ecstatic with it. Better results than I had even hoped!

Gino has been cutting my hair for the past couple of months now, my first time visiting he was spot on and I loved the way my hair looked. 4 months later and I refuse to go elsewhere, I change my hairstyle quite a few times and he always gets it right. Always welcoming and friendly, wouldn't recommend anywhere else.

Embellish has such a nice atmosphere and always provides a top quality service. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Would never go anywhere else.

Lily is so talented she always listens to what you want goes through inspo pics then tells you what’s realistic and what we can do. Her advice is always great my colour is 10/10. It helps that she is the loveliest human being too!

I’ve been going to embellish for a couple of years and love the place. The staff are so friendly. My stylist Sarah is the best stylist I’ve ever had. She is attentive and caring. She listens to how you want and like your hair. She offers good advice about your hair. She is absolutely brilliant. I always love my hair and get exactly what we have discussed and decided on. What a very talented hairdresser she is. I would recommend her to everyone. I’ve sent friends to her and they all feel just like I do. The salon has been newly refurbished and looks absolutely beautiful. All the staff are friendly and attentive. I am offered a drink several times during my visit and Sarah always tells the person making it how I like it so I get a perfect cup of coffee. These little things are important. I always get a wonderful head massage off Sarah as part of my hair wash because she knows how much I love it. If I only want a very slight trim then that is what I get. No taking up to an inch off like other stylists have in the past. Sarah always listens to what is important to me and wants very much to make sure I’m happy with what she has done. Her customers are important to her and she wants them to leave the salon feeling amazing. She takes pride in what she does and always gives her very best to make sure her clients are happy. I highly recommend embellish and definitely recommend Sarah to everyone. A very talented knowledgeable and experienced stylist indeed. I have put some photos on of how beautiful Sarah has made my hair look over the years with different cuts and colours.

You will struggle to find a lash tech who is as professional as Gemma! Availability is great and if there are any issues then they’re dealt with easily. The whole salon has a lovely atmosphere, everyone is approachable and you’ll leave feeling fabulous. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to Gemma and the team since the salon opened over a year ago. All the girls are so lovely, friendly and professional. There is just a beautiful vibe in there and you feel so welcome. They've became more than just somewhere I get my nails done, they've become so much more and I wish nothing but success for Gemma and all the team. Gem is just the best. I have just had had luxury derma-planing followed by a back neck and shoulder massage. I've been going to Tracey for a number of years for a combination of treatments including: lash lifts, eyebrow waxing / tinting/ shaping and also various massages. She has always done a fantastic job and is always so welcoming and pleasant during my treatments.
