We are so glad we chose Sopley Mill for our wedding venue. Everything was perfect and exactly how we pictured our special day. The Sopley team were so helpful with all of our various queries while we were putting our plans together. When it came to the big day, Kelly really helped to keep us at ease and ensured that everything was on track and ran to time. My biggest worry about choosing a dry hire venue was that it would be difficult to keep everything coordinated, but I needn’t have worried as Kelly made it seamless! Having a dry hire venue meant that we could add our personal touch but the venue has so much character already that it really doesn’t need much added. We loved having everything in one venue and the setting is absolutely stunning. We had so many lovely comments from our guests who were raving about how amazing the venue is too. We wanted a venue that had a relaxed, laid-back feel to it, and Sopley Mill did that perfectly. Our whole experience with the venue and the Sopley team was a real pleasure. As soon as we viewed the Mill for our wedding venue, we booked it straight away. We had so many comments of how stunning the venue was and the staff were all fantastic throughout our wedding planning. On the day everything ran so smoothly and they accommodated to all of our needs. We can't thank you all enough for the most perfect wedding day! 100% recommend to anyone thinking of getting married here! You will not be disappointed!

We had Sopley Mill as our wedding venue and it was truly lovely. Both the inside and outside of the venue have fantastic views and is just beautiful to look around. Plenty of guests commented on how amazing the mill is and I am so glad we had our wedding here. The staff at Sopley Mill are incredibly supportive and helped ensure everything that was organised for the day went smoothly, I cannot say thanks enough to them. They have done an outstanding job for us, I could not be happier! I have included a few photos from the day. Once again I'd like to say how lovely it all was and how happy we are. Sopley Mill is amazing.

If you are looking for an intimate and rustic venue ,then look no further than Sopley Mill. It was exactly what we had pictured . A beautiful building set on the River . It is simply stunning . The low beams , exposed brickwork and beautiful natural lighting. It really is a dream. So much space yet not too spaced out that you lose everyone . You pretty much have a blank canvas you can do exactly what you want with . Please do go and have a look .

Thank you Sopley for the best day of our lives. Your venue is just stunning and Kelly was amazing from start to finish helping it all run smoothly including holding scarves up to windows to help block the view of the bride from the people outside! Thank you so much for everything you did for us. The venue is just stunning and they have thought of everything but also kept it empty enough for you to fill with your own dreams. Amazing.

I was so happy to find a shop like this which supplied all wedding related decor and props! Jennifer was very easy to deal with and even managed to organise the delivery of the items the day before the wedding as it was much more convenient for us, so thank you for that! Will definitely recommend to friends in future!

What can I say about this company and Jennifer in particular that will do them justice. Nothing, but I will try! This is a company that will go above and beyond to make your special occasion great! Jennifer was professional, helpful and kind through all the planning and execution stages for my wedding on the 2nd of August. My guests were also very impressed with what they saw. I highly recommend this company!

Beyond Expectations provided decoration service for my wedding ceremony and reception dinner. I had a consultation with them where I explained my vision. This was captured to perfection on the day. Each detail from the centrepiece to table plan decor exceeded my expectations. Our guests gave us positive comments on how everything was set out. Overall Beyond Expectations provided a great service throughout the wedding planning stage and I would 100% recommend.

Jennifer and her team were very easy to deal with. In the planning stages, she knew exactly what I envisioned and new quote requests were never any bother for her. When I finally decided on what I required she made the experience very easy. She arrived on time and seamlessly made the venue beautiful. So much so that everyone was in awe of the decoration, draping and the cake. So I am so pleased I found Beyond Expectations and hope to you use them again in the future!

Highcliffe Castle is absolutely worth a visit; other reviews talk about the gardens but on a very wet February day; inside was a ray of sunshine! The volunteers are amazingly knowledgeable and really happy to share their knowledge of all aspects of the history of the building and its more recent restoration. I’ve seen the outside of the building before but had no idea of where all the stones, windows, grotesques, stained glass came from … no spoilers here you’ll just have to visit yourself! I’d thoroughly recommend it. Easy parking and great cafe too

The building was very interesting. It showed the fabric of the house as it was built and after the disastrous fire that did immense damage. The tour around was on even floors and suspended walkways that didn't do further damage to the masonry. The history of the building was well resented on information boards. Children were well catered for and the cafe was a welcome coffee stop. Well worth a visit and the semi restored areas looked great for weddings and special occasions. Grounds were pretty and there was a short walk to the beach.

Really loved this place. Totally accessible. The staff were super friendly and a lovely lady showed us around the state rooms. Food a drink was great and, as it was very sunny, we sat outside. Then went down to the beach. All in all, very enjoyable.

A really interesting, cool and historical place. Really enjoyed it! It’s a really nice castle. Makes a change to visit a castle that is not ruins! Really recommend it!
