I wish i could give more than 5 stars! Absolutely Amazing couldn't recommend these vets enough. I was very anxious taking rocco for neutering and these guys made it a doddle. So lovely and helpful start to finish and his little operation cut is tiny and will be barely noticeable when healed. Wonderful staff in a lovely vets! Thank you guys again!

The ladies at Home Comforts vets were wonderful with our cat when he had four teeth extracted. You can tell they really cared, they were professional, friendly and the procedure was very reasonably priced. Will definitely book with them again (although hopefully not too soon!).

Emma & the team have done 2 dentals for my cats Dec & Navy at a fraction of the price my usual vets wanted to charge. Their care has been exceptional. When I had concerns about Navy afterwards Emma phoned me & through chatting to her I realised he just needed longer to get used to not having his canines & also took longer to get over the anaesthetic. Thank you to all the staff at white cross! Whenever i call to enquire about appointments for all the stray cats i help , they have always gone above and beyond to book in (even when i have to rearrange sometimes) without making the kitties feel less important than our own pets. Shows they are a caring practice. Would definitely recommend.

Very Nice staff and very welcoming, as a owner of a reactive dog it’s hard to find vets that are willing to work with you and wants the best for your dog, would 100% recommend white cross vets to anyone looking for a new vet

Excellent vets. One of the small chain of Whitecross vets so has a different feel to one of the larger groups of vets - feels more personal and small practice - like vets from years ago - this is something for them to be proud of. The consultation didn’t feel rushed like I have experienced elsewhere.

As ever, 5 stars. The staff are just brilliant with animals (as you would expect) but not pushy when it comes to recommending non- treatment. The floors are regularly washed in the reception area & the tables used for the animals in the rooms are sanitized after every use.

Very friendly and caring. Managed to fit my dog in for an appppointment within an hour of calling. Very attentive and thoughtful. The vet was exceptional at putting my dog at ease and very thorough with her examination. She even gave my dog a treat afterwards. I would highly recommend.

Brought my cat here for surgery, we are registered with a different branch but managed to get an app with any. This branch had the earliest. Was quiet and very clean. There is no carpark but plenty of main road parking. Receptionist was very welcoming and the main vet was really lovely too. Gave great aftercare advice and booked me a follow up app at the branch I'm registered too for ease. Great service!

We brought our new puppy along here to get his first immunisations along with micro-chipping. Us not being registered here though it was pretty quick & straight forward getting an appointment within a quick reasonable time frame (waiting 7days to be exact). Raj was the vet in charge that day & gave us a really warm very. Mylo was made to feel super relaxed & did not feel a thing. Would definitely recommend to any family or friends. I have recently changed to this practice and also joined their complete care plan. I have had to take my dog this evening as an emergency as he had a severe gastro issue. The receptionist was super helpful and very caring. Marta the vet and the nurse were amazing. They checked him thoroughly and 3 injections and medications later we are back home and hopefully it won't be long before Maverick is feeling better again. Outstanding care given.

Took our beautiful Bella here and unexpectedly she was seriously ill and needed to be PTS 🥺 the vet Tamsin, nurse and all the receptionists could not have been kinder, more compassionate and sincere. The only downside I have is how the vets is set out. Devastated owners sat with owners having their animals pampered. Paying after the procedure (I literally couldn't see the machine through crying) I think paying first would be more sensitive. The staff were wonderful 💞

I have been visiting Shipley and Idle Vets since I moved to the area in 2019, with my three indoor cats, and I've recently taken my 9 week old puppy for his first visit. They are so friendly and professional, putting me and my animals at ease. The welcome at reception is warm and they always make sure that any animals in the waiting area are OK together - they are very aware of the temperaments of the animals. On one visit they suggested I move my cats briefly into another room while a large, excitable dog left the vets room and left the building. Any of the vets I've seen have been great with all my animals and I never feel rushed, even when I'm asking lots of questions. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Great vet surgery. Reception staff are amazing, friendly and always make you feel welcome. The vet Alison that I’ve seen the last couple of times is fantastic, she’s great with my cat George, always explains things in detail and genuinely cares. Couldn’t ask for a better service, all the staff there are brilliant.

Absolutely heartbroken at having to put our boy, Buddy the cat, to sleep but from first consultation to sending him off the service was wonderful. The first vet we saw, John, gave a thorough examination with great care and gave us a diagnosis we could understand, unfortunately, Buddy just deteriorated after that and we made the painful decision to stop his suffering. The second vet we saw, Kate, was more like a bereavement counsellor than vet she was so sympathetic. We were there for 50 minutes whilst we were given a full explanation of procedure and time with Buddy before he went. My wife and I cannot praise them enough and highly recommend them to any concerned pet owners.

Very good vets. I've used them many times. They have a very clean environment. The only complaint I have is they should have a barrier helping keep dogs and cats separated during visits. Our cats are always scared and shaking in their pet carriers when people with dogs come in or walk past but this is the same problem at all vets and it's distressing to cats

We had concerns about are dog Bob, after a phone call we had a appointment an hour later,the vet were seen by was very thorough with his examination, bob will need an operation, and I know he is in good hands, thank you all at vets 4 pets

Cat was absolutely fantastic and very thorough when we had a sick dog. She stayed late with Amy C and Ciara when Lacey was so unwell so she could operate Sadly she was put to sleep on the operating table (with my consent) and the whole team were nothing but kind, compassionate and cared for her with dignity until I arranged cremation the next day. We cannot speak more highly of their dedication and care x

We recently had to have our beautiful cat put to sleep and we can't thank Gordon enough for his kindness. He explained everything, gave us options but most importantly gave us time to spend with her before and after which meant the world. The world needs more Gordon's in it.

Excellent Vets. I have been visiting this practice with my 2 dogs for 15 years and would highly recommend them. Unfortunately my eldest dog passed a few weeks ago but the care we had from the reception staff, nurses and vets has been amazing. I found somewhere that doesn’t just treat your poorly companion but sympathises, listens and truly cares and for that I will be forever grateful. In memory of my beautiful boy Marley ❤️

All the staff are friendly and very helpful. The vets and nurses are amazing. One of my cats is fiesty and always handle her well. Getting appointments is easy and quick. Overall a brilliant service

After waking up to find my 23 year old African Grey very weak and in respiratory distress I rang round trying to find an emergency avian vet appointment. After being advised he needed to go into hospital we made the trip to Holly House. Everybody was amazing, explaining everything, keeping us informed about his progress and the cost at all times. I was happy he was in good hands. He made a rapid recovery and I would like to thank everyone for taking care of him.

My dog Wally was very poorly and we almost lost him with a pneumonia and stomach issue. These are the best vets I've ever been to. Communication was clear/objective, and the caring is in the little things they did, like a nurse running to Tesco to get tuna to get him to eat at least something. Shout out to Francisco, Jenny, Katrina, Cathy, Tom, Dan and the ones I didn't get the name of. Everyone was outstanding.

We had to take our cat, Nectar, to Holly House out of hours, and the care we received was exceptional. The team was professional, compassionate, and incredibly thorough, which made such a stressful situation a little easier to handle. They explained everything clearly and treated Nectar with such kindness and respect. It’s reassuring to know that such great care is available when you need it most.
