Our beautiful Puka has been spayed in Oakwood veterinary surgery. I think it was the best decision we made to bring her exactly to this vet clinic and we was travelling from ls12 area because clinic was recommended to me. I was impressed with that care what they was given to each animal there. Thank you to Oakwood Team for this great experience I felt calm from surgery day to our recovery period at home .

We’ve been with Oakwood Vets for well over 15 years and they looked after both our cats that have now sadly passed away. We have nothing but praise for the team. Our cats received expert care for many years and we cannot thank them enough for the compassion shown when our eldest cat passed away earlier this year. Been dealing with Oakwood Veterinary since 2001, never been disappointed. Dr. Kothari is very professional and very straightforward. He did a major surgery on my Husky in 2016 with which I was very satisfied. Very kind and very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to everyone if they're looking for a professional and reasonable veterinary help.

I'd just had a bad experience with another vet practice (not in Otley). I was nervous about trying another after moving, but I couldn't have felt more reassured. The staff were so lovely! I wasn't rushed, the vet went out of their way to make my cat feel comfortable, and gave me lots of great advice. So grateful to have such caring, professional and reasonably priced vet practice nearby who truly put animals before all else. Can't recommend them enough.

I absolutely love this vet. It's independent and works with the owner to care for their ill animal. It's not just about money. The vets are very nice and the receptionist always books me in very quickly. She also deals with me freaking out over email quite a few times (sorry but thank you). I really love this little vet practice. It's how all vets should be run.

I couldn't ask for a better , more thorough vet than Emily Legate. The surgery is amazing and the staff are highly knowledgeable and very reasonably priced which is an added bonus but ultimately I use this veterinary surgery because I had a years worth of unsolved issues with my prescious boys ear, in one visit we had swabs taken then discovered he had a deformed ear canal in the offending ear , then he was booked in swiftly for an ear flush under anesthetic, Emily filmed the ear canal and debris in it ,for me to better understand the situation with his ear. I can't praise these guys enough and they have my recommendation to any one who wants caring, thorough up to date and highly trained veterinary care . It's a big thumbs up from me and Roman dog. I wish I could put 10 stars !!

We have been bringing our pets here for years, and we keep using cross green vets. Worming, jabs, and any concerns they have been great.

Appointments are always punctual and easy to book . The receptionists are all personable and vets thorough. Very happy with this practice

The team are fantastic! They have been so supportive and understanding with our rescue Dachshund. He’s not had the best start in life and can very nervous around strangers, especially men. White cross have been so accommodating and supportive with him, always going out of their way to make sure he has the most stress free visits possible. A fantastic vets, highly recommend!

The ladies at Home Comforts vets were wonderful with our cat when he had four teeth extracted. You can tell they really cared, they were professional, friendly and the procedure was very reasonably priced. Will definitely book with them again (although hopefully not too soon!).

Home Comforts came today to help us send our 17 year old Jack Russell over the rainbow bridge. Abbi was the consumate professional with a soft and gentle beside manner. She explained everything and what to expect. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Q

Emma & the team have done 2 dentals for my cats Dec & Navy at a fraction of the price my usual vets wanted to charge. Their care has been exceptional. When I had concerns about Navy afterwards Emma phoned me & through chatting to her I realised he just needed longer to get used to not having his canines & also took longer to get over the anaesthetic. I wish i could give more than 5 stars! Absolutely Amazing couldn't recommend these vets enough. I was very anxious taking rocco for neutering and these guys made it a doddle. So lovely and helpful start to finish and his little operation cut is tiny and will be barely noticeable when healed. Wonderful staff in a lovely vets! Thank you guys again!

Sad occasion. Our 15 year old cat had to go to sleep. The practice staff were very sympathetic and understanding as they have always been over the years we have been coming here. Would recommend 100 per cent!

A great experience for my first time at the vets with my kitten. The reception staff were warm and welcoming and the vet was super nice and friendly she handled my kitten very well who was very sassy and naughty. All in all a great place and super easy and convenient.

Excellent vets with great service from both the vet and admin team. Have been my vet of choice for 3 dogs now stretching back over nearly 20 years. Building is easy to reach, sharing an access road with the car wash, but with dedicated parking and a small grass area at the front. Ramp access to the front door is easy to manage for the mobility impared. Inside is clean, bright and airy, with toilets available and a small waiting area, including an area especially for those with smaller pets that is marked as a dog-free zone. Reception / admin staff are polite and helpful, greeting customers warmly and happy to say hello to pets and try to put them at ease. I've never had to wait more than a minute or two before being called into the examination rooms. All of the vets I've seen are equally nice, friendly and cheerful, and empathic towards the animals they're treating. The examination rooms are 'compact', but big enough for the job at hand, clean and tidy. Whenever I've taken my dogs in, the vet has always taken the time to try and treat them as kindly as possible, making sure there's a little treat to be had for each injection taken or for being poked and prodded - but it's little things like letting the dog take a moment to sniff the stethescope before they're checked over that I think makes going to the vet a non-traumatic experience for them. Vets have always been happy to discuss treatment options with me and make recommendations for their care, and the prices seem fair and reasonable in my experience. Strongly recommend.

Always amazing with our Bailey who's a 14 week old miniature dachshund. He doesn't get nervous visiting and they always take good care of him every time we visit! Always quick to see you and easy enough to book appointments. Managed to get one this morning by calling up at 8.30am to see if there were any appointments. Managed to get one at 10am which was amazing. Poor Bailey's anal glands were full and needed to be expressed but the vets took very good care of him.

Lovely, friendly staff. The receptionist are great and helpful as well as the vets who are very knowledgeable in rabbit care- (hard to come by for rabbits) I would highly recommend this vets. When Monty has his injections or checkup or even operation. They always make sure to fully check him over regardless, and inform us of how he is getting on. I can’t fault the vets here and we are glad we signed up.

This is purely the best vets in town. They look after my elderly rag doll Valentino, who had a bad experience at a previous vets. They go the extra mile for him and have kept notes even down to scent cats love and are sure to have it on there hands when they see him. They are so caring and patient with him. I have also just adapted a dog that I found dancing in the traffic, they helped me with checking him over and what to do. They now have him on their records and have welcomed him with open arms that he loves to see them. He is all chipped vaccinated n ready to love life. Thank you all at Westwood Vets, Garforth. My number one choice for pet care. The surgery is always clean bright and welcoming nothing is too much trouble for all the staff. I particularly like the separation of waiting area for cats and dogs - which shows they care how their clients are waiting without getting stressed. My Howie is extremely vocal even without seeing any other animals. All the vets are happy to answer questions & nothing is too much trouble. They care about our pets as if they belonged to them.. And that’s a big plus for me. Wouldn’t go anywhere else, 100% pet friendly & good price point. Also situated in an accessible area with available free parking. Thanks to all at Westwood

The vets was immaculate and you were greeted by a lovely fresh smell when entering. Alison on reception couldn't have been more helpful and clearly explained the pet plan we were taking out. She was very knowledgeable and put our minds at rest with our first fur baby. They were all brilliant and made sure our puppy was healthy. You didn't feel rushed and the customer service was outstanding. Would definitely recommend.

I've been taking my cat Bertie since August 2022 as a tiny kitten. He's been there on and off every month for one thing and another since that time, this last 8 months have been hard as he was diagnosed with hip displacia, especially this last week! I cannot thank Katherine his main vet and all the team for all their care, and going the extra mile for him and kindness. If I could give more stars 🌟 I would. Massive thank .. you all deserve it

I have got to know this wonderful vets over the last few months as the charity I foster cats with use them. I absolutely cannot fault them, whether an injection, check over, microchip or major operation every single member of staff is polite and friendly. They clearly care a lot about animals and treat each pet with compassion and love. No question or query is ever too much trouble for them and they have helped put my mind at rest as a new cat fosterer. When my plan ends with the vet I use for my own cats comes to an end later in the year, I want to move them to LVC as I know they will be in excellent hands.

We are staying in Leeds temporarily and our 14 year old dog is struggling. Saw the vet, Katherine, at short notice this morning. We really appreciated her kindness and advice. My dog woke up Monday morning completely paralysed on his back end, by 9.30 am he had been referred from my regular Vets to Frank, 12nn had an appointment with the incredible specialist surgeon, 12.30 a full CT of his Spine, then straight into theatre for surgery to be back in recovery by 4. Because of the speed and expertise of the team at frank, other than sporting a reverse mowhawk on his back you wouldn't think he wasn't at peak health ! I can't thank everyone enough for the kindness and compassion they showed both my dog and me. My dog can walk again thanks to these amazing people and I could not be more greatful for everything they do. Picture of said miracle below, loving life on his pain meds x

Absolutely amazing from the start. We're at the start of our plan for Boublis but from the referral from our vet to the speedy response of frank. pet surgeons, we were reassured and welcomed. Maria investigated Bou's issues and she was straight talking but also kind, we were bowled over by her knowledge and professionalism, and she was so lovely with Bou. We went in at 8:45 and we were back to collect him at 16:30 with a treatment plan to help him. Maria and all the team were exceptional, it's such a relief to know places like this exist to help our fur babies, no hidden costs and everything fully explained before you proceed. We can't thank everyone enough!

After being quoted 8-9k for several x-rays at our local vet we had franks recommend to us by a friend. Being around 50 miles from us I was a little sceptical. But after reading their great reviews and fixed pricing standards (without spending several thousand on x-ray's that probably wouldn't have found the problem!) we decided to try them out. We couldn't be more happier with how Annalisa diagnosed our dog, and how professional she was. After a well informed first meet she examined Myla and found the problem straight away (our vet's couldn't pinpoint the problem). She explained in detail that Myla had probably broke her back and would scan straight away. After a couple of hours we returned and the scan proved she was correct and explained exactly what had happened and how to treat Myla. We found Annalisa very professional and at a fraction of the price of our local vet. We cannot thank you enough for putting our minds at rest. Thank you.

The nurse was very caring towards my cat and tried her best to put her at ease. Then she was seen by the vet and I learnt something new ,I felt she had a thorough check over and all i went for was flea treatment . I was really pleased with the care she had received.

The compassion and dignity my cat mittens received was wonderful. The care given whilst under the current climate has been second to non. (The same for the yeadon branch too) thanks for everything you have and continue to do for our pets.mittens a few weeks ago before he became too poorly 😢
