Knowledgeable and helpful vets practice, I did the puppy program which was excellent and then signed up to the monthly plan for our dog covering check ups and regular worming / flea treatments. Works well and nice to have the cost spread across the year rather than a bill I have to pay each time

find the vets --and -assistants all very helpfully verry nolagable yes it's expensive but it's your choice if you wish to go ahead with the offered treatment

Review from our visit in October. We managed to get a last minute appointment to see the Vet with our poorly hamster. Unfortunately she had to be put down but the Vet we saw was very compassionate and allowed us time to say goodbye which was much appreciated by my daughter. We also got a sympathy card through the post the following week which I thought was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend.

Used this vets for years having dogs . Now having lost my last dogs due to old age, now have a cat 17 years old and becoming concerning. The lady vet we saw was absolutely spot on . Listened and discussed the problem which was heartwarming. The lady in question was called iris and was one of the best we have ever seen. Could have gone down the road of blood tests and xrays but at 17 years old is too much. Cats have 9 lives, maybe he's on his ninth.

Great Idea really helpful to text reminder to book appointment/or send appointment already booked to confirm date ,time or 📞 to rearrange recep friendly, polite, helpful. Vet really good answered all our questions carried out good assessment weight,fitness,health of Baxter our Border terrier .Thankyou for a excellent service .

Another visit for Cooper and Wilson’s annual booster. Cooper and Wilson again always so excited when we go. The team are so friendly and professional. Would highly recommend.

A very friendly and helpful vets. They took us on when our vet in Dewsbury said they didn’t have enough vets to help us. We rang every vet in the Wakefield area to get Milly her booster and her nails cut under sedation (she won’t let anyone near her paws) and they were all full. Yorkshire Vets said they could help. Really happy with them.

They are all so friendly from reception, nurses and vets. I always feel confident that my cat is looked after, thank you so much xx

Friendly and professional staff, always fantastic with our dogs.Abby house is a little bit more expensive than some vets but Worth paying that little bit more for their excellent service and care.

All staff have been amazing for both our dog and cat over the last year. So friendly and considerate whilst we unfortunately had to have both put to sleep after cancer diagnosis. Huge thank you to everyone!

My cat knows his own mind, and he knows that he DOESN’T like vets. He’s been very roughly treated in the past by other practices - pinned down, scuffed, wrapped in towels like a burrito by nurses and he fought like a bear - he remembers! It wasn’t like that last night at Abbey House Kippax. Yes, he was nervous, he hissed and grumbled but he was spoken to kindly, stroked and cajoled throughout by the lovely vet. I was explained her thought processes throughout, possible diagnoses, meds, tests, etc and when he’d had enough - it was quickly back in the box ‘so we don’t upset him’. A relatively painless procedure. He returns next week. I’d highly recommend Abbey House Kippax.

Sue the vet was brilliant at handling our nervous dog when having his yearly vaccination and health check. She was very calm when he displayed aggression. It made the experience a lot less stressful for us and our pup. I highly recommend Sue as a vet. She gave good advice on how we can tackle future appointments for our nervous dog.

Took my sick bunny Noel into the surgery at Brayton. Could not have received better service. In particular Angie, Dawn & Emily were just fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. Not the first time, won't be the last, but good to know the team are there to help in the most dire of situations. Thank you

First time visiting since we moved to the area. Very welcoming when we arrived and the vet was excellent with keeping my cat calm. Really pleased with the detailed explanations and clarity of pricing. Happy to have such a reassuring vet clinic in the area! The service at Horsforth vets is always exceptional. It’s clear that their highly skilled and personable team are true animal lovers. We continue to go here even after moving from the area.

Could not rate more highly. My elderly cat was seen straight away - the receptionist was very compassionate to my obvious distress, and the vet was calm and experienced and able to treat him and clearly explain how to care for him with his medication. He is now starting to get better and I am delighted. Even if there hadn't been such a happy outcome, I feel confident they would have dealt with everything in a gentle manner and done all they could for us. Fabulous vetinary surgery!

Able to get an appointment quickly, lovely staff and vet was very thorough.

I required an emergency appointment for my gorgeous but very poorly cat. They were the only emergency vets around when we needed one. My boy had to be put down but I was so impressed by the staff's kindness, efficiency, communication and knowledge and understanding that I have now registered my two new furbabies with them and taken the pet care plan. Thank you so much to vets Jenny and Emma for giving my boy such good quality care. You were there when he needed you and all your staff were there for me too. Excellent, bright clean, well equipped facility. I definitely recomend.

Absolutely amazing, the receptionist was so kind! I just rescued a kitten, and I needed to get him checked, they got me an appointment the same day! Was really really impressed!

After waking up to find my 23 year old African Grey very weak and in respiratory distress I rang round trying to find an emergency avian vet appointment. After being advised he needed to go into hospital we made the trip to Holly House. Everybody was amazing, explaining everything, keeping us informed about his progress and the cost at all times. I was happy he was in good hands. He made a rapid recovery and I would like to thank everyone for taking care of him.

My dog Wally was very poorly and we almost lost him with a pneumonia and stomach issue. These are the best vets I've ever been to. Communication was clear/objective, and the caring is in the little things they did, like a nurse running to Tesco to get tuna to get him to eat at least something. Shout out to Francisco, Jenny, Katrina, Cathy, Tom, Dan and the ones I didn't get the name of. Everyone was outstanding.

We had to take our cat, Nectar, to Holly House out of hours, and the care we received was exceptional. The team was professional, compassionate, and incredibly thorough, which made such a stressful situation a little easier to handle. They explained everything clearly and treated Nectar with such kindness and respect. It’s reassuring to know that such great care is available when you need it most. A small and friendly team who have always provided an excellent service. I have taken my dog here since he was a puppy and he's now 13. He loves the vet as we manage to see the same one on each visit, and this is good for owner and pet.

We have used this practice for many years and always been impressed by the wonderful service from both the vets and reception staff. We feel our beloved pets have been in safe hands at all times. For those we have sadly lost, this was handled with extreme sensitivity and compassion

Really appreciated the vet's approach - talking me through all the processes as part of my cat's check up. This was a new vet that I had not met before. My cat was surprisingly friendly and relaxed despite having a jab. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful and I appreciate text reminders for appointments as I have a lot of family commitments to keep track of. If I was to make a recommendation it would be to give an annual update on pet plans and their benefits, annual update on changes in law (eg mandated microchips) and itemised receipts for any transactions. Took new pup for vaccines. She was greeted by both on reception and petted. Helped me with her chip and change of ownership etc. Excellent service.

The vets and all staff at both Garforth and Seacroft have been so good with our very nervous border collie. They make our visits so calm and are very patient and kind with Charlie.

Been using this vets for quite a few years, they’ve always been helpful and professional. Yesterday James went the extra mile, we visited for vaccinations for our two dogs, but when I booked the apt. I explained there were a few worrying lumps on one of my dogs. Despite there being other clients, James took his time to explain things, and went ahead and took some samples so we did not have to book another appointment. Just got to hope now, that it is just fatty lumps and nothing sinister. Thank you to all the staff, we are always made to feel welcome and valued, and our dogs are treated with care and respect.
